Holy frick that was good. Operator kino of the highest order.
Will we get a second season? Will we get some nude reporter scenes she's so hot it's not fair
Holy frick that was good. Operator kino of the highest order.

if they didnt have nudity in the pilot or first season it's definitely not happening later on
Why?
They're willing to do more when it's still a gamble whether the show will succeed, get picked up or renewed. Once they're getting paid steady millions there's no reason to let the breasts out
There's a lot of explicit violence already so they could have nudity I guess
lol americans can have some of the goriest scene but they are too scared to have a nipple
The jack reacher show on Amazon had the main girl show her breasts and these two shows are obviously targeting the same audience
john krasinski isn't republican
Thats Jack Ryan not Jack Reacher. Ryan show a kino too.
is the second season any good?
Yes i enjoyed second season too. Waiting for the third (Reacher and Pratt tv shows are more based imho but Ryan is still a breath of fresh air in the current homosexualoid infested clown world)
>clown world
>can't wait to watch the latest Amazon shows
Seriously Black person? Zero self awareness lol
>NOOOOOOO HOW DARE YOU TO ENJOY THE NON POZZED TV SHOW
Dilate asap and join 42% party right after
Are you seriously even listening to yourself right now? Non-pozzed when it's fricking produced by Amazon. Now THIS is clown world, chuds defending Amazon.
I'm not defending anything, i'm simply suggesting some good tv shows in a sea of shit. Now kys.
Truly amazing to me you'd compromise your morals for some "gud teevee". You have no spine.
Because sex is for monogamous relationships. Two people. Its not supposed to be something everyone gets to see. Violence is not the same.
> show made for Conservative Americans
> violence is the same as nudity
lmao, sure
Was enjoyable though, hope they keep going.
what was good about it? I watched it and it was pretty shit.
Simple story. Vengeance list. Operator kino. Every episode has a new infiltration and kill, no bullshit except for the reporter but she's hot so I guess ok.
Too much plot armor by the end and magic pills that fix everything. Also lame kinda predictable ending.
There are magic pills that fix everything in real life. They are called oxycontin, and I also need them to operate. Show some respect to fictional SEALs and real SCHIZOs.
Last episode was crap.
Lots of asspulls, lots of plot twist for the sake of plot twist that made no sense if you had been watching the show, etc. 7/10 otherwise.
Yeah the final plot twist was moronic. Such a shame because it was refreshing to have a good old punished seal going on a vengeance spree with clear good guys and bad guys. I wonder if it's (producers) asking for le epic plot twist for every show now
It would have liked it better if the protag had schized out and shot his buddy for no reason
Why is he so fat?
He was going to retire, no joking they say so in the show, that he was getting old and should be retiring and becoming an instructor or so. Later on in a flashback wife tells him "you promise me this will be the last deploying...and we're here again, for the 3rd time"
>Chris Pratt
if you knew ANYTHING you would know pratt is a based conservative
Is he? I mean, he's Christian and that's it? media portraits him as some kind of unhinged Trump supporter but so far they don't have anything to back it up
He's actually just a nice dude.
He literally just said he's not Christian a few weeks ago and called them deranged lunatics
>He literally just said he's not Christian
no he didn't, he did some wishy-washy "I don't call myself Christian I just believe in Christian God and the Bible" homosexualry
>pussifies and caves in the moment the media keeps pushing for insane lies
so sad, I liked the guy
there's nobody else with morals nowadays, everything is about good optics and following the narrative
>He's on my side of the direction thing! Based!
Every single politician on the planet would turn your children into dog food for a nickel and not lose a wink of sleep over it.
Yeah but my side is better than yours
>pratt is a based conservative
>despite working for the largest kidfricker, lgbtbbq69 studio out there
Nah man that makes him a mercenary, these people aren't on your side, they're not "based" they're all the enemy. You'd be best off remembering that, they're not normal people.
Don't talk a shit about Chris Pratt
mid bait.
>Brother I just need to know.... can... you...operate?
kino
Hell yea I got you brother, operator online.
What a chad lol. No sjw crap, no gay crap, great action. A little too tame with the dialogue, i imagine these SEAL types and the like would swear like sailors when talking but its not a big deal.
where can i get the same kind of pants?
They killed Horn way too fast, I mean it makes sense given the situation...but I wanted him to suffer, cry and soil himself more
The show really set him up as the main villain and he just gets blasted unceremoniously. Kind of cool in a way but also not great pacing.
up to e03, seems good
>nude reporter scenes she's so hot it's not fair
what the frick are you smoking she was literally asian
That already makes her a 6 minimum
Are these shills? I thought it was average as frick. Felt like any other boring ass Tom Clancy plot.
I'm bored of (plots). This felt like a nice tall glass of cold water
I don't get why Pratt gets so much hate? I've always liked him ever since parks and rec.
he's the fricken starlord, seal who was on the obl kill, and now this.
I like the c**t
I loved how absolutely unapologetic his character was. He had a mission and by all means he was going to complete it. No one could change his mind and there was no corny redemption arc. This is what The Punisher show should have been.
the second half was weak but yea basically this was a sensibly done punisher
when he gutted that beaner it felt like that scene in slavers
too bad it was downhill
So Ben betrayed his brothers because he didn't want to see them die on a hospital bed and instead opted for them to get slaughtered in an ambush...
I like Taylor Kitsch but holy frick did they ruin that character in 5 minutes. That alone took it from a 7 to a 6. Just stupid as frick.
He said he did it for the money too, it was 50/50
it was just his cope, the truth is he did it because he was ordered and payed to
guy was obviously depressed and autodestructive and constatntly talking the good old days in the teams, showing his remorse over becoming a glowie hitman
No I get that, but the fact they tried to cram all of that in the last 10-15 minutes was just sloppy. Either slowly build it up throughout the season or have the MC find out in the final episode and build the second season of the betrayal. It just didn't need to happen imo.
Yeah bad twist, saw it coming a mile away too. They kept hinting about one last baddie and there's no major characters left.
I thought that was baiting for a season 2 and he finds out the conspiracy extends past the secretary of defense. In retrospect I wish they'd done that and have him kill his way all the way up to the POTUS instead of that moronic reveal with his buddy
it was hinted from the start when pratt tells him about the reporter or something like that and he has a weird reaction and sudden bump of interest then tries to make it look casual
This. Idk why these morons are even calling it a "twist". Shit was predictable asf
It's sold as a twist.
It being predictable (mostly because, as that anon said, there weren't any other characters left for the reveal) doesn't mean it wasn't set up as a "shocking" moment.
It was so obvious, I even assumed up until the end, that the brother being bad was set up as a red herring.
How is it not a twist? What the frick? Even Chris Pratt was shocked in his limited acting range. It was a terrible twist.
It's a twist in the sense that you only knew that was predictable over metaknowledge, the show put Ben as a helper in all scenes, even when Reese isn't around Ben is seeing helping him, being preoccupied about him and suprirsed at events that as the traitor already knew. Why would do any of that if Reese isn't around? to trick the viewer...that's why we call it twist (despite being obvious he was the last important character and there was still one unknown bad guy so we kinda saw it coming) but nothing in the episodes up to that made you distrust Ben
Ben seemed to be reacting more out of regret than shock, and he constantly made excuses about exposure at the CIA for not giving information that we know he already had. Dude just didn't want to give it up until his friend gave the sad eyes to him again and his guilt came over him. He pretty much explains it on the boat, some things came as a shock, most of it he was in on. Some of the revenge he was cool with, other parts he just enabled for the sake of his friend.
In the book it makes a bit more sense, they try to make him sympathetic in the tv show. I thought overall the show was pretty good I just don't know if they should really even go for a second season as it wraps up pretty well all things considered.
he didn't kill that captains wife and son, thats my only gripe.
>show opens up with a bible quote
Still think Pratt was a pretty bad cast for the part, I imagine someone like a Joel Edgerton would've elevated the show much more
That's actually a way better casting, completely agree. Amazon has some kind of weird fascination with fat Pratt
>fat pratt
bruh he's built like an actual seal, or at least a former one
he'd snap you in half
Shut up fatboy
>t. can't even do 12 pullups
He's in the next season. Pic related.
he looks like he just learned about his wife's son
>aussie for a seal who is the main character
No, also edgerton doesn't remotely look as convincing as pratt does in that type of role.
How would you even write a S2 without a massive asspull in regards to the tumor in his head ?
I liked it for what it was, but it really doesn't need a second season
read the books moron
they will make 4 seasons of this show at least
the mexican doctor said it could be cured in mexico
Who said it was inoperable. They'll probably do something like the books where he goes for a shady operation using dead CIA friend's money but then gets abducted by the CIA and used as a deniable assassin.
the second book does a 180º on everything. New foe, new goals, nothing related to this one. Honestly this would work better as a single only season
>Will we get some nude reporter scenes she's so hot it's not fair
Do I have to watch the whole fricking show ? For frick sake OP, could you please post pictures ?
He's full of shit, it's an ugly chink.
>ugly
>chink
Quite the oxymoron
you mean tautology
I don't understand why every Amazon show, The Boys and shows like John Reacher don't have any actress who is really 10/10 and gets naked like on HBO shows what audience does Amazon expect?
>not a 10
ok bro
>flat old Asian lady
>mind blowing
nah, she's pretty basic chink
I'd frick the everloving shit out of her, but she's not a 10, bro, not even a 9 or 8. She's a nice 7 for her age
based asian prostitute
>colonizer seeker
ruined
YUCK
https://archive.4plebs.org/tv/search/text/Operator/type/op/
>Holds him up by the neck
>guts his intestines out with an axe and then uses his intestines to tie him up where he was holding him
>falls to the ground in agonizing pain as more of his intestines are ripped out of him
>tells him to get up and walk
holy fricking kino
feels like The Unit in a lot of ways
They need to relaunch that show but edit out all the women.
one's edited themselves out already
There's already a show called The Wall
That's the wall brother?
yes
The next Top Gun movie will take place on Ellen Page's forehead, mark my words.
Reminder Ellen wall was self induced by testosterone pills.
Tr00nism loterally robbed us of cute tomboy Ellen.
GET YER BUTT DOWN HERE WALL CAUSE IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS TOO
Right, I forgot I'm on Cinemaphile, so here we go again:
What show?
The Terminal List, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch with Jai Courtney and Constance Wu.
Thanks
>exclusively on Amazon Prime Video
Sure it is lol
Eat shit
Deadly Catalog
the umbrella academy
Lethal Inventory
John Wick Assassin Hotel Budapest
They lost me when they didn't show his wife's big honkers properly and then dropped her for season 2. The story in S2 was utterly moronic as well.
The Killer Spreadsheet
It would have been ok if 75% of the show weren't mind-numbingly boring hallucination scenes.
So pretty much is a consensus that:
Too many flasback hallucinations that were the same stuff repeated from different angles
Show takes a nose dive around the half, imo coinciding with Horn's death because they were preping him as the BBEG and from there is just "lets see who else can be involved because we ran out of ideas"
And awful plot twist galore last episode
?
This except for Horn, didn't care for him not an interesting enough villain. Maybe the attack on the base could have been done better
They should've leaned fully into the schizo angle and kept it ambiguous as to whether there really was a conspiracy or if it was all in his head until the last couple episodes
This and also Ben turns out to be imaginary
that's what I thought for the 1st or 2 episodes until he was actually shown interacting with other characters
So glad they didn't take this soi angle, so tired of this shit. There's evil and there's good, that's all
I disagree, it's much better than setting up the ultimate big bad in the last 20 minutes and killing him off in the same timeframe. That's some high school level writing.
The conspiracy would still be real, they should've just made better use of the tumor in his head than the same couple of flashbacks that served no purpose except fill up the run time
i lost it at the "LEEEEEEEEEEROY JENKINS" moment and when he blows up the mountain
they went too far
One of the people who posts ITT thought it was tactical and real to life. He learned it in Call of Duty.
come the frick on
>when he blows up the mountain
>I'm gonna swim the dirtslide
it was written by trollphysicist
What is he operating?
on a chihuahua, he's a vet
chris pratt more like chris fat
don't think he's gonna be doing much operating with perpetual swamp ass
remember the part when he killed that one dude
I'd rather watch reacher again than this garbage.
its just an expensive and clumsy military recruitment ad, not a compelling story.
>>IVAN EHT NIOJ!
Military recruitment ad where a guy gets away with assaulting an Admiral, committing dozens of extrajudicial murders, assaulting the Secretary of Defense's home, and setting off multiple explosive devices on American soil.
>join the military and we will give you cancer and murder your family today!
that analloving homie should have signed up and quit the day after
It was quite an appetizing pitch, wasn't it? Watching a man suffer in complete physical and mental anguish for 8 hours on top of the series of betrayals by military institutions of all kinds was what finally sold me on joining the navy
The morons dumb enough to join the military don't care about anything but COOL EXPLOSIONS and BEARDGUNS
I hate Chair Force welfare queens and shit as much as the next guy but guys who sign up willingly to die, however misguided, deserves a basic level of respect. Every other service member can go get fricked without grease, but I know people that saw real action and didn't whine about it or demand respect. They just went out and earned it.
>dying for israel and lockheed martin is based
because he is a hot shot who doesn't play by the rules and gets shit done. he is a good guy gone rogue and kicks evil guys in the balls. you can do the same, just join up and be cooooool!
He did play by the rules he just applied them to domestic threats.
The military are the bad guys in the show. Doesn't really make it effective propaganda. If anything it makes you want to find some ex-operators and leech experience from them, not join the navy lmao
>join the navy son, and one day you too can have claymores strapped to you and be sent into a final meeting with the admiral
come on man
Anyone read the book?
I want to know if Horn dying too soon, they adding new people out of the blue to the list and Ben being one of the baddies was in it or was something added by the producers?
If it was already in the book they should have removed it, it was bad and probably the biggest problem of the show (+too much hallucinations that didn't add anything)
First few episodes were kino. Perfect blend of psychological elements + mystery + action. Really made you wonder if he killed his wife and daughter.
Last few episodes went full "one man army" le Rambo/John wick but we're still enjoyable due to cool action scenes.
I tried to start highly esteemed Amazon prime original The Soys last week and after the series trailer prime autoplayed into this show. First 20 minutes were kino supremo, really enjoyed it until I realized I was not watching what i meant to
He should have killed himself instead of the glowie.
>of the highest order.
Why do you lie? It was okay, but its not the greatest thing ever, you know not everything is either the best or worst right?
The final twist completely killed any interest i might've had for a second season.
Sure this one already felt too long and stretched thin at times, but i might've watched a second season for some bro tacticool action, which made for the best moments in season 1.
But they had to have the pointless betrayal at the end for some cheap shock that brought absolutely nothing to the story and retroactively ruined the characters, and next season they fricked themselves out of the only good character dynamic the show had going.
Same. It was complete nonsense. And tbqh I thought he was going to end up as another hallucination which imo would have been an improvement over "it was ME the whole time" out of the blue
I kept praising the show in the back of my mind thinking they weren't to go the you'r-best-friend-betrays-you route, only for them to completely shit on that idea in the last 10 minutes of the finale.
Even more so disappointing because I really liked the actor, he doesn't get enough roles
Taylor Kitsch is my guy. I think he plays a great "cool guy" in all of his roles. Even the role he got in Waco as David Koresh, dude was great. Shame most of his films are average at best.
this.
also, show doesn't hold up if you keep your brain on while watching. over and over he has a chance to kill targets without risking his or his teams life but the show needs action shots so, instead of just shooting the target from 100 yards away, he does convoluted shit to make sure they can get a hand to hand combat scene. oh yeah, he also gets blown up, dropped off a mountain and shot in single episode but is totally fine.
Most of your points is why I think it's bizarre when this show gets praised for being "true to life". It's something I've seen argued on this board before, even when mentioning there's no way two operators take out the secretary of defense's compound IRL. Just pure Hollywood.
because they say le operator words and the names of different guns and a lot of acronyms
Who would win in a fight between these two? Will there be an Amazon Operatorverse crossover event?
Reece if weapons. Jack if h2h
Reacher would win because he's written as the power fantasy of a 12 years old.
He's stronger than your dad, and smarterer and always knows more than everybody and the best at every sport and the most good guy and the tallest and biggest but also faster, but also can disappear in a crowd.
So he's literally impossible to beat.
why did that sicario die after walking only one step?
He got Jack Bauer'd
probably shock
>>why did that sicario die after walking only one step?
He didn't.
He wasn't a moron so he pretended to die to live another day.
After Reece left he probably undid the axe and walked to the nearest clinic.
Navajas bros, I kneel
DUDE GORE
Bush was objectively worse
it was alright, i enjoyed it. but i thought the operator stuff wasn't that impressive tbh.
Loved it . Reminds me of the time i was down range in the sandbox with my brothers.
L.L.T.B
Why do they keep saying "moving" ?
do you even operate bro?
3 rules to gunfighting - shoot, move, communicate
why do they keep saying 'brother?'
why do they keep saying downrange brother
Moving
Wat show, pls spoonfeed me.
Dragged Across Concrete
Terminal list 2022
Too late, already googled it. Thanks anyway. Whats with Amazon and producing Operator/Glowie stuff. I wish they produced a rainbow 6 show, the first book with the enviro terrorist was something I always read as a kid
>Don't use Cinemaphile. It's compromised, has been for years.
