it's probably the most entertaining novel I've ever read. and graves wrote it in a few weeks strictly because he needed some cash. amazing.
is the audiobook by robert graves worth a listen, bros?
this show is fricking amazing and everyone should watch it. fricking masterclass of acting. it shot on '70s British video but that doesn't actually matter, in fact it makes it seem more like the stage play that it is at heart.
just everyone is fantastic. oh and you get to see john hurt playing caligula lol
Watching a combination of HBO's Rome followed immediately this is peak comfy
I don't recommend reading/watching anything about Rome made by anglos. They deeply misunderstand the time period and source material because of the cultural divide. >Muh he was crazy because he appointed his horse as senator >Fail to realize it was banter and that comparing dumb people to donkeys and horses is very common in med countries
This kind ot stuff. Or the fact it took them centuries to realize she-wolf was code for prostitute / prostitute while it has always been an inside joke to italians.

God-tier television. It looks like an ultra-cheap costume drama/soap opera, but it's amazing.
I was gonna say Antonia and Agrippina the Elder weren't too bad, but they were the mothers of Livilla and Caligula respectively, so they must have done something wrong.
I want to marry and be murdered by Livia that sexy b***h
Why is he wearing a diaper on his head?
The unfinished adaptation would have been better.
They almost made me read I Clavdivs at school. Probably dodged a bullet there.
It's pretty good
t. Livia

Too late.
And it's kino regardless.
HD release when?
kek good joke
Why?
HD would ruin all the make up and aging effects
It was shot on videotape.
What you see it's there best you're gonna get.
>AND IN TEN YEARS FIFTY DAYS AND THREE
>CLA CLA CLAUDIUS SHALL GIVEN BE
>THE GIFT THAT ALL DESIRE BUT HE
Holy kinoa lads

There's a galloping in my head
*ahem* all women are manipulative prostitutes and cause civilisations to decay.

Tiberius did nothing wrong.
Trusted Sejanus
>What a pretty thing a fire is!
What did Nero mean by this?
Watching a combination of HBO's Rome followed immediately this is peak comfy
>when you expect a chestburster to pop out of Caligula.
>when Sejanus Stewart has hair
>when Tiberius turns into an old goat
My only gripe is Brian Blessed as Augustus. Far too portly.
I WANT MY EAGLES BACK
>not liking angry sitcom dad Augustus
Blessed was the best part.
IS THERE ANYONE LEFT IN ROME WHO HAS NOT FRICKED MY DAUGHTER.
>I only fricked her once Caesar.
One of the best, ever.
