No. That haircut is nearly impossible to pull off in reality because of the way it's cut and styled. It only works in the movie because they were constantly propping his hair up between takes.
90% of the time it will end up looking like pic related. If you want to get something similar, get an actual undercut, without a fade, and then slick it back.

You're right..prisoners was at least ok since it was supposed to be sad and sterile but Arrival and Dune were the best sleep aids I've ever watched. Put Villeneuve on for 20 minutes and I'm in deep sleep
