it's biggest flaw is the length. no reason for it to have such a long runtime. especially when they're trying to wrap up a handful of climatic build ups. all of them didn't pay off the same so keep the couple that do, and cut it down to 1:50
i only know one other person who watched it and they felt the same way. it felt like a chore towards the end. not everyone goes out looking for an opinion to have, but instinctively acquire one themselves, ya Black person lover.
Agreed.
But I went in to the theater not knowing anything about the movie and it blew me away.
Yeah it was fricking awkward that the movie would never end.
for me it was comfy that i would check the runtime and there was still half a good movie left for me to watch. i went on watching it like the other anon with no prejudices except knowing this board called it "reddit" and it was excellent. i didnt even watch the trailer, since those spoil everything.
things i found reddit and a bit too on the nose were the dildo thing and the blender donut. but other than that it was very enjoyable and it was a lot of movie for those two things to influence my judgement that much. what i really liked was the acting in general, i felt watching a proper movie with proper actors, an experience i hadnt with modern movies since forever.
I agree, it was about 15 minutes too long. I also thought the movie was overhyped. I also wouldve probably enjoyed this film's themes back when I was 20. However, now I am an older and wiser man.
This is the kind of movie your normie coworkers would talk about at lunch time and call it a masterpiece after watching exclusively Marvel stuff for the past 5 years.
Someone give me a quick rundown on this movie, because I've never seen it and probably never will, but I've heard it described as "that OTHER multiverse movie" (the main multiverse movie of this year obviously being Doctor Strange 2).
It can't be explained well but it ain't capeshit. In capeshit the idea is the hero. In this, the idea is something else, and the action and story is built around that.
This movie is like capeshit but squared, every single scene is either a shitty joke, shitty action scene or hamfisted emotional moment. It's really really bad

There probably was some 20 minutes they could have done without.

I also watched it like that and from my own judgement I could tell this was very reddit. I still kinda enjoyed it but definitely not my type of movie.

Agreed. They could have shaved 30-40min off and the message was clear before that. I kept thinking it was just about over but it kept dragging on.
Yeah it's a solid 6.5/10
please armond dont hurt em
Armond nailed my thoughts on the movie almost entirely. What an insufferable pile of nihilistic non-sequitur.
Where is his review?

It's a comedy about a sad asian woman saving the world through getting knowledge from other universes. And the daughter is a lesbian.
Thanks for the replies.

reminder - in this "movie" there is a scene where two men insert dildos up their asses
if you like this "movie" it says a lot about you
Yeah, and it’s played for laughs as something fricking weird for a man to do - as rightly it should be
i'm not watching a movie with a title that stupid and an ugly asian lead
reddit: the movie
Love how the director/writer bragged about learning how to make movies by watching YouTube. It shows buddy, believe me.
i dont care if it's r*ddit, it's my kino of the year
