Holy shit this show fails 90% of the things It tries to execute, some visuals are ok but its the definition of Style over substance, every episode feels 5x longer than they actually are and the narrativo its all over the place

Well, it's a show about nothing.
So was Seinfeld
But with worst audio and VAs
the strange voice acting is one of the few things i really like about this reboot. at least its interesting
No you got it backwards, it’s a nothing show.
And that's okay.
>Jerry and George become a magical girl cat duo
How would they:
1. react to the show?
2. react if they get involved in the events of the series?
#2
Well, you try it.
I enjoyed it, not sure what your problem is.
>show basically got picked up by jap studio
>show has anime problems now
Wow who could have seen that coming
Almost no anime has such a shit pace as this thing
Clannad?
Ah yes, the Steven universe wannabe
Natasha Allegri needs to be investigated and incarcerated for money laundering
You are describing every single animation studio in North America after the death of Walt Disney.
Is that possible
VERY possible
The show certainly has style, I'll give it that. Its problem lies with the story telling and world building. It doesn't really feel fleshed out and some argue that they weren't trying to have an incredibly deep and lore filled show but that still doesn't stop it from missing the mark.
The whole reason I watched it was because it teased all this stuff about Puppycat secretly being a prince from space. If they don't want to do a story about that, why did they tease it so much in the promotion and pilot?
Maybe they'll get there in the next season.
Slice of life shows that rely on ambiance over plot progression need to write some aspect of its world in high fidelity. It needs to show us minutiae that can only come from life experience. Bee and Puppycat does not have that unfortunately.
Slice of life cartoons can work, such as Clarence. Instead of focusing solely on making the characters seem interesting, that show also shows the process of what the characters do. That's why that show can have entire episodes about finding a rock or making a phone call be engaging. Bee and Puppycat can't and never will, no matter how much pastel and mood the animators throw at it.
> every episode feels 5x longer than they actually are
That’s because like a third of them are really shorts that were stretched out to five times their original length.
Thats awful
Yeah, It never explain how characters reach certain conclusions, It feels like Im watching everything from Bee's fricking autistic mind
It's a good show to just turn your brain off and relax. The visual are consistently good, much better at being atmospherics than steven universe's in my opinion. It has its endearing moments as well.
And I somehow quoted the wrong post damnit
I want to frick Toast.
>mfw only the pilot was good
