You're supposed to want to rape them and see them get hurt. That's the point of the film. Did you want to rape them to death while you strangled them? To feel their c**ts constrict around your throbbing manhood while they breathed their last breath? Yes? Good. Then you understood the film.
Is this the one where the chicks are imprisoned in some weird institution so they hallucinate they're cool and have superpowers (forget what it was called)
Because that movie was a neat case study in that a movie having hot bawds and sick fight scenes is not necessarily enough to make it watchable
That's pretty much the gist of it. It's called Sucker Punch and is about girls in an Orphanage using the stage and plays they put on to escape the reality of their lives.
I don't know how the frick you could get a movie wrong after supposedly watching it, anon...
but stop being said frick-up.
It was a movie about a girl, whose father probably was molesting her, dumping her off in a mental hospital, not an orphanage, and her successive "directors barely disguised fetish movie of homosexual anime" mental fantasies to disguise what she was going thru, ending in a soft-lobotomy.
>ending in a soft-lobotomy.
The original ending was about Jon Hamm, as a doctor, coming to lobotomize the protagonist, while the protagonist fantasizes about Hamm as some big client that is about to rape her, but during the rape falls in love with her and so they end up having romantic "consensual" sex. So during the lobotomization Hamm, as the doctor again, sees the protagonist starring at him with loving eyes and is disturbed by it.
Emily Browning was actually pissed about WB cutting the scene because, according to her, it was the best consensual rape-lobotomy ever filmed.
Her problem was with the MPAA. The scene was supposed to be a sensual lobotomy where the lobotomy itself was a stand-in for loving sex. The MPAA wanted to make the scene more rape-y.
>“I had a very tame and mild love scene with Jon Hamm. It was like heavy breathing and making out. It was hardly a sex scene… I think that it’s great for this young girl to actually take control of her own sexuality. Well, the MPAA doesn’t like that. They don’t think a girl should ever be in control of her own sexuality because they’re from the Stone Age. I don’t know what the frick is going on and I will openly criticize it, happily. So essentially, they got Zack to edit the scene and make it look less like she’s into it. And Zack said he edited it down to the point where it looked like he was taking advantage of her. That’s the only way he could get a PG-13 (rating) and he said, ‘I don’t want to send that message.’ So they cut the scene!”
The scene is still about rape. Jon Hamm in the Babydoll's fantasy world is still some "high-roller" client that is coming to frick her. The idea is that it starts as rape, but end up in loving sex because Babydoll decides to choose to give in and enjoy herself, thus taking ownership of her own sexuality.
This because in reality Hamm is a doctor the hospital hired to lobotomize Babydoll because of all the troubles she has been giving, but Babydoll herself is okay with this outcome because she is essentially choosing to sacrifice herself so the other girls can escape. It's her choice.
Since when does the MPAA give editing notes? Most people in the industry complain that they don't know what to cut when they resubmit for a different rating. Some things are known, such as how many times you can say "Frick" but her views sound more like a guess than something that was specifically communicated by the reviewers.

The MPAA is just Hollywood governing what can and can’t be released to theaters. The industry has direct lines to raters and influence over the rating process.
JESUS CHRIST, Jon Hammbone & Emily Browning (who I would consensually rape in Minecraft Lobotomyworld).
That's some seriously disturbing & fricked up shit that would NOT have helped that movie out at all. To put that much work for an ending in a movie like that is...sad.
Thanks for the info though, anon.
Kinda really not wanting to consensual-mind rape Emily Browning anymore.
my ex made me go watch it cause she wanted to see some girl power and it was the worst two hours of my life
I came on her face afterwards but it was just cause I was mad
today she is super fat lol
One time I told one of my exes that I wanted to cum on her breasts just in regular conversation and she was into it so then later that day we had sex and when I told her I was about to cum she hopped off and got on her knees ready to catch it on her cleavage, but in the moment I had forgotten about that conversation so I didn’t know what she was doing all of a sudden and instead of aiming anything I just kinda let it go and accidentally sniped her right in the eyeball.
The trailers were 10/10 and I expected the movie to be the same but then I started watching it and the moment I realized there was actually a plot to it I realized I made a mistake.
he's literally seeing meaning to a really shitty movie that just is not there
its a load of unwatchable boring crap, it is so bad that I was within an inch of walking out of the empty cinema when I went to see it, a complete waste of money.

Troons and women don't know what real misogyny looks like. They just gossip about it being in a movie about pretty girls and big meanies. This place goes to shit in the summer.
Don't take what an actress claims too seriously. Most of them don't know shit about how the industry works beyond what's required of them in front of the camera.
I would’ve preferred a movie about the girls getting air-tighted by orderlies in an asylum. Don’t really care about their power fantasies to justify their continued explosive orgasms.
>cast almost entirely made of cute girls >...dressed with revealing anime schoolgirl uniforms for 3/4 of the movie >which is fitting considering the constant, exaggeratedly choreographic anime-tier fights >giant samurai warriors, steampunk nazis, LotR orcs, dragons and futuristic robots are fought with a Matrix-like mishmash of martial arts and ancient/modern/futuristic weapons >each scene is visually distinct and has a different gimmick, a kaleidoscope of kino aesthetics >despite all of this, it's far from a mindless action flick; plot is unexpectedly serious and tragic >Inception-like multi-layered narrative that deals with heavy themes such as abuse (including rape and pedophilia), self determination, corruption, power imbalances, and ultimately sacrifice for the greater good >almost everything you see on screen is a metaphor for something else >real ending got censored as it was considered "too much" for American audiences >god-tier soundtrack with musical-like bits
A movie too based for this world, no wonder it filtered almost everyone
Sounds like you're a bunch of weens who think you're watching something hardcore and deep but it stars the chick from Command and Conquer and was directed by the gay who made a bunch of capeshit.
The point is anyone who isn’t a 13 year old boy (or moronic) immediately understood: >what was happening >what wasn’t happening >that none of the girls were going to get naked
That’s the point. The movie appealed to a very narrow band of people who were just dumb enough to not really catch what was going on until the end and not smart enough to quickly realize no one was going to get naked.
This movie was a stroke of artistic genius, in my opinion. It showed the struggles of losing to a system of men in power and feeling helpless to combat those who've already marked you as a lost cause. In the end, you just grow tired and complacent, and welcome feeling nothing at all than everything at once.
I wish they never removed the deleted scene of what happens before the lobotomy. It was so intense, and a truly remarkable way of showing her willingness to just lose herself, and why.
This a movie that men will never truly understand.
I watched it long ago when I was a plot point mental midget who believed a message was the substance of the movie. Now that I know better I should give this thing another chance.
Sad to see a lot of people in this thread like movies "because achtually its talking about X in Y" instead of apreciating movies by its audiovisual evocative qualities.
and boring
Yeah, it did get repetitive in the middle there.
let that sink in and its a good thing too.

The original cut of the movie is unironically filled with sex scenes (rape) and sexy dance numbers (stand-in for rapes).
It seems that NETFLIX is fighting for the rights of the movie, so we might end up one day seeing that shit.
The cast also want to make a prequel. How when they all hit the wall i don't know.
Imagine having Browning and HujHuj go ass to ass
>12 years later
>want to make prequel
Do they want to digitally de-age the entire cast?
Or do those c**ts simply, actually think they can pass for them selves from 12 years ago?
>Or do those c**ts simply, actually think they can pass for them selves from 12 years ago?
yeah. have you ever talked to a woman before?
The only person in there that hasn't slammed into the wall at full speed is the ageless Pudgens
Unf.
Time is a terrible mistress.
Malonebros... it's over.
Is Carla ded?
No, she has a life-time of Zack Snyder's movies cameos to cash in for some odd reason. She is in Rebel Moon.
where's my 4 hour's cut, Sneeder?
You have to be 18 years old to post here.
Seems like something a high school girl burgeoning on the cusp of Borderline Personality Disorder would be really into.
my ex from senior year of high school loved it, so you're not wrong
Meaning?
>strong empowered mary sues bad
what is it that you even believe
it is kino, I don't care, it has a feel unique to the zeitgeist
my ex made me go watch it cause she wanted to see some girl power and it was the worst two hours of my life
I came on her face afterwards but it was just cause I was mad
today she is super fat lol
>today she is super fat
even better
Damn anon think you can cum on my gf's face?
One time I told one of my exes that I wanted to cum on her breasts just in regular conversation and she was into it so then later that day we had sex and when I told her I was about to cum she hopped off and got on her knees ready to catch it on her cleavage, but in the moment I had forgotten about that conversation so I didn’t know what she was doing all of a sudden and instead of aiming anything I just kinda let it go and accidentally sniped her right in the eyeball.

Based story if I'm honest
The trailers were 10/10 and I expected the movie to be the same but then I started watching it and the moment I realized there was actually a plot to it I realized I made a mistake.
my trans ex considered this to be the best movie ever made
Nope, it's kino.
he's literally seeing meaning to a really shitty movie that just is not there
its a load of unwatchable boring crap, it is so bad that I was within an inch of walking out of the empty cinema when I went to see it, a complete waste of money.
How do you feel about getting filtered by a movie that even 14 emo girls understood?
Based. The movie is a tragic story.
>seeing meaning
Anon, everything he said is in the movie.
It’s like girl interrupted with actioney scenes
I saw it in theaters and liked it because it was different than anything else at the time. It's a fun ride and doesn't deserve the hate it gets.
The music videos made it look much more interesting than it actually was.
Yup, should have been rated xxx
Should have just been a music video with gratuitous upskirts

What would the prequel even be about?
Her winning the world chess championship.
Finding out how they got benjamin buttoned
This movie made me realize how worthless the opinion of critics truly is.
It's a masterpiece, unironically. Entertainment at its finest.
You just like it for the obvious reasons.
so the movie is about bpd girls being bpd girls, sounds like ass
It is about rape and mind-break, bro.
Honestly, what's wrong with lobotomy sex for the MPAA to freak out?

I really enjoy rape bros
Tyrone and Antwan have been dispatched to your location.
The movie really good, guyse.
The movie ruined a generation of teenager girls.
if teenage girls actually took cues from this movie on how to dress, they'd attract higher quality mates
zoomer girls are gross
This movie was smarter and a better Inception movie than Inception.
Sweet dreams are made of this...
my first crush as a kid
my first crush on a kid too!

Snyder tried to cash in on the weebshit too early.
