>watch horror for years
>mildly spooked
>think I have become immune
>the last few weeks
>be me
>turn off most lights
>put on headphones
>put on some horror
>soil myself to oblivion
>need sometime afterwards to pull myself together and chill
Guys. Horror is actually terrifying. Even the 6s and 7s out of 10.

The only scary horror movie is Sleepaway Camp due to the ending.
I messed up, should have made clear that lights and headphones changed everything.
>Ask someone for their top 10 all time horrrors
>It doesn't include Black Phone
Instantly dismissed.
Watch this one next
I really don't think I will manage the calligraphy scene. Minimum I will have to cover my eyes and mouth like a girl..
Even thinking about it, it's too intense.
It's a great scene. Likewise the elevator one
Now that I think about it I probably have seen it once all the way because of this in 2003. I should give it another go. Keep the headphones but turn on a couple more low lights.
And then this one
I did last week. Started normal but frick that actress and the third act. Her face and the neck pain..
It's a great twist. Next:
Now try playing Alien Isolation in the dark with headphones
I have it, didn't try it yet.
I finished Outlast last week too, my hands were flailing uncontrollably at times.
Hearing the Xeno stomp around and chase you will have you scared witless. And hearing the facehugger's shriek, you'll be spinning in circles frantically trying to find them before it gets you.
I am watching Netflix's Incantation now. It's not great. Just disjointed cheap spooks that don't connect with anything..not spook so far. 45mins left and it already feels too much.
Will fast forward for a bit..
Lol it even has tripophobia from the memes.
Random creepy pasta the movie.. what bullshit.
>Random creepy pasta the movie
sounds based tbh
Love horror but even the spookiest films aren't all that scary.
Black Phone is one of the greatest horror's ever made.
I can't wait for digital. Or, should I just go to watch it tomorrow? Cinemas have become so expensive..
You can find it online already
I am a cinephile that accepts only >10GB files , no CAMS, no Yifi. I will look tomorrow though, excited to see this masketa man.
Black Phone is a thriller at best
Not really. It was a decent watch though. I could've used more Grabber.
Don't Go In The House
I will put it on my list. And Woman in Black.
Would you go in anon
I'm pretty fricking dumb so very likely
I'm trying to decide whether I should watch this or Evil bong
What is the actual scariest movie ever made?
An Inconvenient Truth
Candyman
Black person
>>soil myself to oblivion
Maybe you should change your diet
I tend to find that the best horror is not a marketed horror film, but something that just gets your adrenaline rushing such as a thriller, but without the crime or grit elements. Scifi movies can also fall into this too.
>Coherence
Indie film about a dinner party where realities begin to merge. Loved this film
>vivarium
It's just about a couple who get taken to a 'housing development' no one lives in, and then are abandoned there with seemingly no way out, forced to take care of a rapidly growing child.
>blindness
A drama about a disease that turns everyone blind, except the main character of course, though she goes to a quarantine facility anyways pretending to be blind so she can take care of her husband. Crazy shit ensues.
anyone got recs like this? I even prefer lifetime original movies about real life abductions over a 'horror movie' about ghosts or some stupid shit.
Coherence-- BR1, The Invitation
Vivarium-- Long Weekend (original or remake), Picnic at Hanging Rock
Blindness- Wanting Mare
>blindness the whole tribal rape thing was so weird
Watch The hole. It's got Kiara Knightley in it. They had it on a 4pack DVD with blindness back in the day lol
>horror
Whole genre belongs on this list
A woman made that image.
Also dilate
>they live
Says the same thing its about is the same thing its not about
>terminator
>predator
>hero kills droves of enemies
>both only have one enemy
Also First blood, I don't think Rambo killed a single person in the first movie
Not half bad
