I haven’t watched a single episode. I was just about to post that I just have zero interest in anything related to Germ world anymore. No hate. No passion at all. Just…who gives a frick?
Chris gore seen the first 2 episodes and said they were both mid in his opinion but that fans of the lore might appreciate it because there is a lot of politicking or whatever going on.
>Aegon father of the year >Aemond literally wants to have sex with his mom >Alicent fricks Criston >Helaena and Jaehaera see Alicent having sex
What are the writers smoking
literally wants to have sex with his mom
fricks Criston
and Jaehaera see Alicent having sex
Do we actually alicent nude or is it more implied bullshit?
The show is now telling you that these two are the morally reprehensible people trying to steal poor Rhaenyras Throne. Rather than the victims of her entitled, ignorant whoring.
Every new episode time gaps the other by 5 years making the developments in a single episode utterly meaningless and forgetable.
It's a really shit concept that should die with this series
I'm only watching for dragons. So far it has more dragons than GOT so it's better. Story? Both suck irredeemably and is ruined by hollyjews.

None of them look or act cool and the lighting and camera angles usually makes it hard to see them. The CGI was really bad in the first episode and for the puppet scenes when Daemon and his asian gf pet Caraxes. Oh and they are not visibly unique only Caraxes and Vhagar you can immediately tell the rest just look like slight variations of Drogon.
"Modern audiences" consider misogynstic insults to be worse than murder in fiction. Aegon's going to be hated by normies more for calling Rhaenyra a b***h than Rhaenyra ever got hated for executing a servant. Misogynistic language in TV shows is the writers' tool for saying "guys it's time, go ahead and start hating this character so you feel good when he gets hurt" as seen in Vaemond. Only reason Vaemond said WHOOORE is so the normies cheer at his death and don't see it as a bad thing.
It depends on how unapologetically dark triad the character is. Daemon can call alicent a c**t without reputation loss because “he knows he’s bad” or some shit. I guess that Freemason shit about cheating karma by admitting your evil really works
The table deserves it. Viserys cared more about that table than he cared about all his kids with Alicent combined. Reminder that Viserys whined no Targs are dreamers anymore when Helena is, he just has never interacts with her so he never knew.
They're trying WAY too hard to make the Blacks looks like the capeshit good guys. Just play heroic music every time they appear on screen. For frick's sake.
they don't need to show them gang-raped on screen, just put a scene where they are forced into a brothel by a bunch of horny gold cloaks...gods I want to coom so bad
Feminazi showrunners have to strike back at men for their years of making hot women get their toys out for Hollywood. HBO now only gives us male ass and male dick shots. If women are allowed to be topless, they have to either be frumpy roastie lesbians, fat or grandmas like in Hacks.
>Leaks say the butcher bc, which they not only frick up basically gets overshadowed by the reveal at the end of the episode that Crispy & Alicent are fricking
Yeah, it's unironically over
Helaena going psycho and killing everything with Dreamfyre before dying in her madness could be more kino than she falls out a window
Of course, I am envisioning something good. That is not what would happen. How about they just stick to the book. They can't do that either. REEEEEEEEEE
I will not be watching season 2 because whashername has turned into an insufferable pronoun person. I will not support that kind of thing with my wallet. Goodbye, Max.
Criston can still be the Kingmaker if turns out Aegon II and the future Aegon III and Viserys II are his meaning that all Targaryens are actually Dornish bastards down the patrilineal line
No. He was remarkably trusted by her in the book so much that she went to him when Viserys died. She took him in after he rejected Rhaenyra and it made Viserys mad.
>What's wrong with Alicent and Cole having sex?
Them having sex is indirectly just more Rhaenyra lip service in the show, which the show already has had more than enough of. That's why people are annoyed by it, also because allegedly Alicent & Cole having sex will divert attention away from a very important (B&C) book moment that shouldn't be downplayed.
This is just an opinion but I think it's a perversion of the characters.
In S1 it's clear Alicent and Criston might have some feelings for eachother but they're both too stuck up and obsessed with propriety to ever let themselves act on it. They're obsessed with opposing everything Rhaenyra stands for and everything she's done, so they'd rather miserably trap themselves into being repressed puritans instead of giving each other comfort. That's at least what their character work in S1 made me expect.
By fricking, Alicent and Criston delete this character dynamic completely and just turn into horny hypocrites. Apparently they never had real attitudes that opposed Rhaenyra's actions, they were just envious of her because they wanted to do the same as her, but weren't allowed. This fits into that insufferable "everyone not on my side is actually repressed from being on my side, because my side is the right one" attitude self-righteous c**ts have and it's sad to see the showrunners applying it here. Also: [...]
good points

it doesnt change their dynamic or make them hypocrites. cole is obviously already an oathbreaker so he might as well get some old pussy. alicent is is no longer married and free to have sex with whoever she wants

Of course it does? If you are interrupting a scene/story with another scene/story you are splitting the attention.
Notice how they didn't cut in a scene of Dragonstone in the middle of the dragon fight last season?
if the boy is dead the scene is over. you fricking whiny b***hes would cry if it was somehow word for word straight from the pages cause blood was 1/4 inch taller than you imagined
The story maintains a semblance of balance up until episode 8. Then it starts assraping the greens and never stops. Me and my dad watched it together and he asked if a different showrunner handled eps 8 9 10.
just saw the brothel fricking scene
Oh I want to have sex I want to have sex so bad now
Why can't we Cinemaphileners have big juicy sex like they had
why is sex so scarce nowadays why can't commoners have orgies
I want to frick that princess pristine pussy
I want to sneak in the royal chambers and frick her
Why are women nowadays doing this why are they starving 80% of men from sex
>makes every escalation in the conflict an accident/misunderstanding >whitewashes rhaenrya >neuters blood and cheese and turns it into a sitcom moment by ending it with haelaena walking in on cristin and alicent fricking
i already hate this show now, it took 4 seasons for GoT to turn shit but HotD got there in only 1 how outstanding
If I was a king I would be a pig king
I would always be naked roaming the castle naked and dirty like a boar
and I would have women in every room to service me sex and I would fill them with royal jeez and just walk around with all my body sweating and body fluids dripping from me
I would hold my war councils and lunch while fricking on the table
They took that from us they fricking took that from us
Something that was casual during ancient times even for commoners
And now it's impossible for 80% of men
And they mock us when they show it being done so easily on tv by an elite and expecting us to relate...
time to post some leaks:
copypasted from forum of ice and fire
Episode 1:
>Prologue: Jace and Cregan at Wall, interrupted with message Luke is dead. >Rhaenyra searches Shipbreaker Bay eventually finds what's left of Luke and Arrax in fishermen's nets. >Rhaenys patrols the skies on her dragon; Daemon blames everyone around him in frustration. >Luke returns having won support of the North and Vale, big sobbing scene with Rhaenyra. >Corlys settles in to fixing his damaged ship at the docks with the young soldier who saved his life, Alyn of Hull. >Much time with Aegon II and his family. Hears petitions in throne room about the blockade. >Big Green Council war planning scene. >Alicent is having sex with Criston Cole, experimenting now that she's free and so powerless no one really cares what she does; she doesn't ultimately enjoy it. >Rhaenyra enters Blacks' war council and speaks for first time, "Bring me Aemond Targaryen" >Mysaria snuck out of KL on a ship to Dragonstone, found by Ser Erryk who vouches for her, Daemon angry but releases her from dungeon in exchange for setting up Blood & Cheese; Daemon personally sneaks into the city to hire them. >Blood & Cheese can't find Aemond so they settle for Aegon's son. Episode ends with Helaena fleeing from the room and bursting in on Alicent and Criston in bed.
>Aftermath of Blood & Cheese, reactions from both sides. Aegon insists on immediate counter-attack, Otto pleads that the Great Houses will side against Rhaenyra when they hear of this but reconsider if he makes his own assassination attempt in response. >Spy footage of Aemond overseeing the beheading of Black prisoners is apparently from this episode, matching how Aegon ordered these hostages executed in the book after B&C. >LARGE invented sequence filmed in the streets of Caceres, of the Greens holding a funeral procession throughout the city, presenting Jaehaerys's corpse as the work of "Rhaenyra the Cruel". The slums of Flea Bottom don't care they're annoyed at the blockade, boo such much the procession hurries out. >We suspect "Uncle Gwayne" Hightower, having just arrived from Oldtown, attends the funeral - and that one of his first pieces of dialogue will be Aemond asking "hey, how's Daeron doing?" (a similar exchange with Otto was cut from episode 1.7) >Rhaenyra and Daemon get into a huge fight over Blood & Cheese, he storms out. Using his dragon Caraxes he captures Harrenhal without a fight during a thunderstorm. >Seasmoke starts following Addam of Hull around. >Final scene is Cargyll-bowl: Aegon sends Arryk to kill Rhaenyra but is stopped in her chamber by his twin Erryk; no one can tell which is which and they end up killing each other.
>Opening scene is the Blackwood vs Bracken conflict escalating into the Battle of the Burning Mill. Confirmed from multiple screener reviews (though it might not literally have a "burning mill" in it). Daemon swoops in at the end on Caraxes to cut off their retreat: "Our terms are simple: denounce the usurper and declare for the rightful queen, or your House burns". >It's possible that Alys Rivers is only introduced in this episode, after Daemon takes a minor wound (as he wouldn't have been wounded when he took Harrenhal). >Rhaena "goes to the Eyrie", along with Joff (who rides Tyraxes), Aegon III, large retinue of knights and dragonkeepers as well as eggs. They already promised one dragon to Jeyne and now they fear further Green assassination attempts on Dragonstone. Unclear if Rhaena "arrives" at the Eyrie in this episode or when Jeyne Arryn is fully introduced. >Point being, before we thought Rhaena arrived at the Eyrie in episode 7 and thus Jeyne Arryn would be in literally one episode - now it appears she's in at least two maybe more. >At some indeterminate point in episode 2 or 3, Rhaenys may confront Corlys that Alyn and Addam may be his bastard sons. >In episode 2 or 3 but more probably 2, Aegon will fire Otto and replace him as Hand with Criston: >"Good, to war then!" -- Episode 3 is more likely given that in the book, Aegon did this in reaction to losing the Riverlands after the Blacks' victories at Harrenhal and Burning Mill - and we now confirmed he Blackwood/Bracken battle is the start of episode 3.
>The Battle of Rook's Rest. >The episode begins with the Sack of Duskendale, and Criston behading Lord Darklyn (as seen in trailers >Baela riding Moondancer is present at the battle, though how much she participates is unclear (to explain how she'd even survive on such a small dragon when Vhagar and Sunfyre were on the field). >As seen in trailers, after the other three dragons gang-tackle each other to the ground in the forest near the castle, >Criston on horse and Baela on dragonback race to get to the crash site first.
Episode 5: >Reactions to Rook's Rest by both sides. >Meleys's severed head is paraded through the streets (as seen from prominent Caceres spy photos)
Episode 6: >We know almost nothing about what happens in this episode. Up to now we'd assumed expanded Winterfell material was in this episode, but if indeed Cregan's only scenes were the season premiere prologue, we don't know. >One thing we do know from casting credits is that this episode will feature a big scene of the Lannisters leading the combined armies of all the Westerlands through Golden Tooth, meeting House Lefford's contingent, then advancing east to begin their major campaign to invade the Riverlands.
Episode 7: >Daemon at Harrenhal surveys the gathering armies of the Riverlords. Banners of Blackwood, Bracken (now that they bent the knee), Strong, Mallister, also for the first time Mooton, Piper, Darry, and even Vance. >Oscar Tully (now the eldest grandson and heir to Riverrun, not Kermit) rides into Harrenhal with a delegation of Tully knights. The green young boy meets with Daemon to reluctantly explain to him that Riverrun's armies have to remain neutral until old Lord Grover dies. >Sowing of the Dragonseeds (major spy photos from Llanddwyn Beach, Wales) >Large-scale food riot in King's Landing, perhaps instigated by Mysaria? There was some confusion but we think there are TWO distinct streets scenes, because the funeral procession was riding a carriage in episode 2, but trailer shots of the food riots show Alicent AND Helaena caught on foot. >Mysterious scene of Alicent at a meadow near a body of water are from this episode based on filming location schedule. >Rhaena and her entourage are leaving the Eyrie for somewhere else in the Vale, but she rides away from the main group. She tracks a "wild dragon" by following its droppings, ultimately finds it eating a flock of sheep (spy sources admitted that nothing they saw ever refer to it as "Sheepstealer" by name, and for all we know, it's "wild" in the sense that Morning hatched but broke loose in episode 4 or 5, and grew fast eating flocks of sheep). >At some indeterminate point we will see Green envoys (presumably Otto) physically arriving in Tyrosh to treat with the Triarchy's ruling council. "Sharako Lohar" (apparently merged with Racallio Ryndoon) has been cast.
Episode 8 : >We can't confirm much of what happens in the finale. >Based on casting info, it seems the Battle of Red Fork is in it - though not the main focus for all the lead characters, of course. >The Lannister army forces a crossing of the Red Fork, setting the River lord armies to retreat, and beginning their full invasion of the Riverlands driving east to Harrenhal. >Rumors strongly indicate that at some point (possibly before this) Rhaenyra sneaks into KL disguised as a Septa to try to treat with Alicent. Later pretty much confirmed that in episode 8, Alicent will meet with Rhaenyra again on Dragonstone.....I don't think as a prisoner, but a last desperate peace negotiation that goes nowhere (mostly just to have the actors interacting directly again) -- taking the brief point from the book that Alicent suggests just Partitioning Westeros between north and south of the Blackwater but Rhaenyra refuses. >Rhaenyra flies to Harrenhal to oversea her gathered army. >VERY unconfirmed reports that the Blacks launch their attack on KL by the end....very different from books, in which it was largely bloodless because they lured the Greens' army out then hit them with dragons and the gold cloaks mutinied en masse. But that might just be conjecture.

this sounds fricking awful
>Rhaenyra and Daemon get into a huge fight over Blood & Cheese, he storms out
Another whitewashing Rheanyra
Yawn, this character is now just a bland "I'm a woman and bisexual and real heir of my father"shit
scene is Cargyll-bowl: Aegon sends Arryk to kill Rhaenyra but is stopped in her chamber by his twin Erryk; no one can tell which is which and they end up killing each other.
This is so funny and also moronic
Opening Prologue scene is of a crow flying north towards Winterfell: ALL of the known Cregan scenes are in this one sequence. The crow isn't bringing news Viserys died but that Luke died. It arrives at Winterfell while Cregan is giving a voiceover about the Night's Watch, and we see a group of new recruits being sent from Winterfell to the Wall to take the black, where we then see Cregan and Jace talking. It is baffling how Condal has said they actually built a physical Winterfell set if neither Jace nor Cregan are there. Why the Wall? Cool visual? Maybe in-universe Cregan just happened to be at the Wall at the time so Jace kept flying (fair enough).
Unconfirmed description posted on Reddit that seems plausible: Jace and Cregan walk atop the Wall and talk about Torrhen Stark and Aegon the Conqueror. Cregan acknowledges the Starks remember their oaths, mentions Vermithor and Silverwing refusing to fly past it. In the book, Cregan was reluctant to send a lot of soldiers south because autumn just began and they needed to stay for the harvest or else there'd be starvation in winter. The TV show seems to be stressing that Cregan believes in the White Walkers, so he doesn't want to send his full army south during winter when they're allegedly strongest. Cregan says the best he can do is 2,000 older men - Jace doesn't like the sound of this at first but Cregan explains he means hardened veterans, old but still able to fight, arguably the hand-picked best men he has. Jace is reassured by this compromise (I can't send you a lot of men but I can send my best).
They are then interrupted by a messenger who brings a letter Cregan reads first: Luke is dead (published critics confirmed Jace finds out about Luke while at the Wall with Cregan and in episode 1)./spoiler]
Corlys looks over his ship being repaired; as the actor has said he'll spend much of the season stuck at the docks repairing his ship (and recovering from his recent wounds), which means he can't run and hide from his problems -- that the soldier who pulled him out of the water when the Triarchy ambushed him, Alyn of Hull, is really his bastard son. For now reports say it's just a few establishing scenes setting up that this is what Corlys is doing this season. Mention that his brother Addam is off on an errand.
Rhaenys returns from a day flying Meleys around to assist in the blockade by the Velaryon fleet - leading into the promo clip where Daemon urges her that they should immediately strike at King's Landing, as Meleys and Caraxes are both adult dragons with experienced riders, they might have a chance double-teaming Vhagar if they have the element of surprise. He criticizes that Rhaenys could have killed the Greens when she had the chance; he criticizes that Rhaenyra took Syrax south to look for Luke's body; Rhaenys realizes that he's just lashing out irrationally because he's upset that Viserys and Luke are dead.
Rhaenyra flies around looking for Luke's body and eventually finds some fishermen at a beach on Shipbreaker Bay pulling in what's left of him and Arrax (we don't see it apparently). Rhaenyra only speaks one line the entire episode, near the end when she returns to Dragtonstone and says "Bring Me Aemond Targaryen". Powerful nonverbal acting.
Alicent has sex with Criston Cole. Descriptions from cast & crew make sense enough: she's feeling overwhelmed by all that's happened but at the same time she was married off at 14 to a man old enough to be her father, so she's experimenting with her new sexual freedom to see if it will make her feel better (it doesn't). She's trying this out in a "drown your sorrows" kind of way but it's not some passionate love affair with Criston, and she regrets it.
We don't get a scene of Alicent and Otto reacting to Aemond killing Luke, they were already told off-screen and react coldly to him.
Aegon visiting the "wiener Inn" in Flea Bottom to feast Aemond for his victory - this happens, probably in episode 1, but some descriptions don't mention it
We spend some more time with Aegon and Helaena, as the writers promised. Aegon visits Helaena and the children, as he wants Jaehaerys to sit in on the small council so he can learn to rule himself some day. Aegon's a brat whose father ignored him...but he's not Joffrey. Praise for Tom Glynn-Carney's performance says that Aegon really wants to be a good king and good father he just has no idea how to. When Aegon comes to the royal chambers, Jaehaera doesn't turn and react when he tries to talk to her (they'll establish she's autistic - as she was in the book and how they expanded her mother to be too in the TV show).
.
Large war planning scene at the Green Council. Lot of discussion about which Great Houses have declared for them or not. They're worried they got no response from the Starks, Arryns, or the Tullys. First mention of Dalton Greyjoy, that they should offer him a seat on the small council to try to win him over with his fleet to counter the Velaryons. Mention that Jason Lannister is gathering the full armies of the Westerlansd at Golden Tooth. Tyland is annoyed at Jaehaerys (who is only six), Aegon half-seriously says Tyland should entertain him with a ride on his shoulders but then the others come in. Aemond arrives and sits on the council; Alicent is angry at him and doesn't want him on the council but Aegon *overrules her*, much to her discouragement.
"Aegon enters the throne room (as seen in trailers) flanked by his trio of cronies: Martyn Redwyne, Leon Estermont, Red Ned Waters. Hears petitions from people of the city (as mentioned broadly in book). Aegon isn't Joffrey; he's not dismissive and he's actually trying to be a good king but he's inexperienced and doesn't know what he's doing (reviewers said a LOT of this is in Tom's performance, it's played for comedy, that he does TRY to be king he's just not good at it). Tension with Otto standing there who keeps pointing out these problems aren't easy to solve or he can't just pay everyone. Three petitioners:
A salt merchant says that the Velaryon blockade has blocked their supply, which is a vital resource because now that "winter is coming" they need salt to start preserving food to stockpile. Aegon insists the blockade won't last that long.
A shepherd/meat supplier complains that they've instituted a new tax asking for 10% of all sheep in the city, to feed the dragons -- Condal himself described it in the History of Westeros podcast interview this past Sunday: like real reptiles, when dragons are much more active in wartime their metabolism increases and they need to eat a lot more (apparently making that binary chemical they spray out of tubes in their mouths to breathe fire uses up a lot of calories). The writers want to treat dragons as realistic weapons of war (they're a living thing with measurable food requirements). Aegon says he'll compensate him for his loss - just him - Otto tries to pull him aside to say that paying EVERY shepherd will be too expensive.
A blacksmith by the name of Hugh wants to be paid in advance for all the scorpions the Greens have ordered for the city's defense, as they take a long time to work on and he'd have to cancel all of his other orders to shift to making them. Aegon thinks this is a reasonable request but politely says he will be paid appropriately when they can."
"Out of the throne room, Larys starts driving a wedge between Otto and Aegon, by pointing out to Aegon that he's largely seen as just Otto's puppet.
Larys then speaks to Alicent: given that many of her old handmaids and servants were Mysaria's spies he gathered them all up after Viserys died (last season) and explains now that he had them killed. But he will replacethem with his own agents of proven loyalty. Alicent is NOT amused by this, realizing they're not just loyal to the Greens but Larys personally, and is upset at having them in her close presence - things like bathing, dressing her, combing her hair -- Cooke did acknowledge in an interview that Alicent's look will deteriorate a bit as the season progresses, well not "deteriorate" but simplify: her Season 1 hairstyle was too complex for one person to braid herself...so there's going to be a subtle visual hint that she doesn't trust her own servants to be in her presence anymore.

Rhaenyra returns to Black Council for first time, while they're discussing other politics. This is when she speaks for the first time: "Bring Me Aemond Targaryen".
Daemon visits Mysaria in the dungeon, tension, says she'll get her freedom if she can connect him to some old contacts in KL....Blood & Cheese (a Gold Cloak and a ratcatcher).
While Mysaria "set up" B&C in the sense that she told Daemon who to contact, given she's on Dragonstone now he personally sneaks into the city to hire them, on a fishing boat (as seen in promo photos). He tells them to kill Aemond: Blood directly asks what they should do if they can't find Aemond, to which he just has an inscrutable grin (he gave them the implication to kill someone else but didn't spell out who, which he may later regret).
Alicent & Otto promo clip here: discussing how they can't avoid war now but at least try to rein in wanton violence, hope they can convince Rhaenyra to surrender.
Aemond and Criston planning scene, as seen in trailers, going over maps, already explaining that they cant't hit the Black castles on islands due to the blockade but they can go east through the Crownlands to hit Rosby=Stokeworth-Duskendale. Otto walks in and is annoyed they're planning outside the full council.
Blood & Cheese. Apparently handled well with editing so we know what's happening but it's off-camera rather than gratuitous. The children are mercifully asleep but they make Helaena point out which one is the boy - as soon as she's out of their grip she grabs her daughter and runs - reaches her mother's chambers, bursts in to find her naked riding Criston, says they've killed her son. Credits roll.
end of spoilers and leaks.

we will never see female nudity in sex scenes again and all sex scenes have woman on top of the man
Both those scenes could easily be fixed by having the Twins on stage with Aegon.
Rhaenys could have argued "I do not murder children." and it would be both forshadowing and a powerful motivation at once.
But yeah either way the dragonpit scene ruined that episode by being moronic.
If the leaks are true then the story just completely falls apart after Rooks Rest, which is pretty much what I expected anyway, but funnily enough it falls apart because of moronic changes for the sake of changing shit. This perfectly explains why Gurm was mad with the Showrunners. They think they can tell the story not only better, but tell a better story than the original, in the process just completely messing up everything with hamfisted Agency.
Season will be halfway watchable up to Rooks Rest and then completely unwatchable Rhaenyra fanfiction with people teleporting all over the place and Main Characters repeatedly sneaking into the Enemy Capital for those essential and super emotional dialogue scenes that were not in the source material.
Millions wasted for a subpar adaption of mediocre material.
>In an early draft of the Targaryen family tree, with details given in the A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying game (2009), Lyonel Strong was the husband of Rhaenyra Targaryen, with whom he had three unnamed sons. The RPG further states that House Strong was among Rhaenyra's greatest supporters during the Dance of the Dragons, and her three sons by Lyonel all died in the war. This was all revealed prior to Lyonel Strong's first canonical mention in The Rogue Prince (2014).
GRRM wanted to add drama and details to the backstory of his backstory. Kind of sucks for Rhaenyra that she got turned into an adultress, albeit with a very strong motive.
It did strengthen the narrative of the Dance and with Jace Luke and Joffrey the Blacks have three very strong characters with strong arcs that really add a lot more colour to the Targaryen family than just bland silver and white tones. Especially the scenes between Rhsenyra and her Sons are very strong and emotional, despite the bastardized script of the show trying to illegitimize her struggle for a strong claim to inheritance.
>despite the bastardized script of the show trying to illegitimize her struggle
Huh? Rhaenyra's claim has been buffed up big time by the show's inventions. >i'm saving the world from a future white walker invasion >the white hart chose me >my rivals also believe the king's word matters more than law or precedent, so even they know i'm the real heir
>three very strong characters with strong arcs >very strong and emotional, despite the >bastardized script >illegitimize her struggle >a strong claim to inheritance.
They will ruin this scene. By the time this scene becomes relevant, the show will have departed so far from the Source Material, it wont even be relevant at all anymore.
Aegon will probably be dead before Rhaenyra is, and it will be some moronic Girlboss moment to boot.
Unlikely. They’re setting up Aegon II to win and feed Rhaenyra to Sunfyre but Aegon II having become a vicious and worse person because of his injuries is poison and killed by Larys on the orders of Alicent to spare the realm more bloodshed ultimately making Alicent the hero of the story that saved Rhaenyra’s son Aegon III at the cost of her own because Alicent had grown as a person and to show that deep down she still loved Rhaenyra and was ultimately some measure of a good person but it will also break Alicent
Yeah in the books but they’re going to lionize Alicent as an unlikely hero that turned against her evil son out of love for Rhaneyra and her growing morals but Alicent won’t be rewarded for her heroic act and will suffer. Alicent is going to get the Jon Snow treatment except instead of a boy killing his lover for the realm, it’s a mother killing her son for the realm. It writes itself and fits how GRRM prefers her stories to end
I can already see the final scene of the show being Alicent dying of disease with the page that Rhaenyra cut out for her as kids in her hand. Her last words may even be Rhaneyra to echo how Viserys’ last words were about his wife or Rhaegar’s last words were Lyanna or how Jon says “Ghost” when he dies or how Catelyn thinks about Ned as she dies
Why can't they use the multiverse like Marvel and make things interesting making characters travelling back in time to visit their ancestors and bringing back some GoT characters?
>aegon is an alcoholic >mysaria/daemon have spies all over the red keep >never once do they come up with the idea to just order one of their spies to put poison in aegon’s drinks
Are they fricking moronic?
It would make more sense than le blood and muh hecking cheese. Just put poison in their fricking drinks.
Well what I should be asking is GRRM and the TV writers moronic?
I'm severely balding and I almost have the same long haircut as the old king on the last episodes after the ellipse.
I hope it's not too late to hop on finasteride and minoxidil.
>all the interesting court intrigue and plotting is pretty much over now that the sides are chosen and war has started >the show keeps pushing the insufferable Rhaenyra Alicent lesbian feminist shit when they're supposed to despise each other at this point >women bad men good >Aegon will maybe be fun for 3 episodes because of the actor's efforts until Rook's Rest happens and he's out of comission >show Rhaenyra is too much of a good girl to be fun to watch >Daemon will barely do anything of note >Alicent Cole crap only exists to bait the "dude GoT has sex and violence!!!!" crowd >show Criston remains a dumb moron but at least he's handsome >a shit ton of minor characters are introduced but none get to do fun stuff yet
So what's the appeal of season 2?
Rewatching the show with my brother, holy frick I forgot how absolutely awful episode 9 is. Especially Rhaenys at the coronation. The show's quality falls off hard near the end of s1
But the greens are the true villains in the show. Sure we can argue semantics or the books or the law, but in the show they've very clearly the villains.
season 2 will be bad if it doesnt include fat post pregnancy rheanyra eating tarts and cakes in bed and crying until mushroom makes her laugh with bawdy jokes
I truly don't get how he can write this but then also legitimately fall for the drumpf gunna kill democracy stuff cause of the fine people inject bleach jan 6 dictator for a day
In S1 they made the green banner a green dragon rather than gold, did they change this for S2? Are they really retconning the dragon called SUNFYRE to not look impressive and be the sigil of their faction?
Ya Condal called sunfyres beauty propaganda and refers to syrax as the golden. The other changes are whatever but that’s just petty bullshit on his part
no one looks like they're supposed to, also you cant win awards if your content doesnt involve women and minorities, it's officially written in the rules
According to GRRM, the Dornish are Mediterranean people. They’re not meant to be non-white but closer to Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, North Africans, Turkish etc
>Septon Eustace suggests somewhat waspishly that Her Grace’s own hungers were slaked largely with sweetmeats, cakes, and lamprey pie, as Rhaenyra grew ever more stout during her days in King’s Landing.
I miss the anticipation between the early seasons of GOT, it’s like the entire world was collectively holding its breath. We didn’t know how good we had it waiting a year between seasons of a tv show. On the bright side Matt said they are starting filming season 3 this year, which makes the air date around spring (northern hemisphere) 2026.
at least they can't frick up God's Eye right because they need to make the Blacks look cool
Actually yes they will, they won't include Aemond struggling with his seatbelt. Which is the whole thing that brings his character toghether (he's an edgelord school shooter anime antagonist wanna be badass but then dies because of he wore his seatbelt)
but it's being minimized by them pussying out on how horrible it as and having halaena run into her mom having sex with cole when it happens
i don't want to be definitive as I obviously haven't seen it but it seems like it's being played for laughs to lighten the scene
OH NO THEY MADE THE BLACKS LOOK LESS EVIL BY NOT SHOWING A CHILDE BEING MURDERED ON SCREEN AND ONLY IMPLYING IT IM LOOSING MY MIND

telling yourself you are accepting a concession with no concession was ever given is in itself a concession that you have nothing left to give accept to pretend the other person gave a concession but yeah haha keep going
Yeah that’s what they’re trying to show is that if Viserys had actually trained Aegon and loved him then Aegon would at the very least have been a well-intentioned king and could potentially have been a good king with the right advisors instead of the wastrel he ended up being and being forced onto the throne with little training during a war that would ultimately break him
>the gods eye is a bottomless lake >aemond’s corpse fell into the lake along with his dragon >also years later a bunch of swimmers totally swam to the bottom of the gods eye bro and managed to somehow drag up both aemond and his dragon just don’t ask how they did this tho
Nice season 7 tier writing there GRRM.
GRRM really did tap out after writing that last Dunk & Egg novella. F&B fricking sucked.
I mean obviously daemon didn’t fricking leap from his dragon and stab aemond in the eye. When I read that in world of ice in fire in like 2015 I was like ok obviously this was just a folk tale told years later by small folk who lionized daemon for taking down the terror of the trident. People actually thought that shit was real? Kek. That’s not even possible, like against the laws of physics lmao!
this makes sense and you cant really argue it and when you think about it everything is just a tale and so there is no reason to believe alicent was not having sex with cole when her grandson was killed
>the book has unreliable narrators
so is the show though, it's a visual telling from Mushrooms perspective >GRRM said it's canon
GRRM is a fat frick and the HBO exec offered him a burger to say that, but more importantly, yes, it's canonically Mushrooms perspective (fake and gay)
The canon is what I say it is, simple as.
>the book has unreliable narrators

>GRRM said it's canon
He literally just had some sort of public statement b***hing about showrunners changing source material and it always being made worse.
I know but I only said that because he also has a quote where GRRM said that what happens in the show is canon and I know someone is going to throw that at me
I don’t know how they are going to play it out between Aegon and Aemond. Ewan says how loyal Aemond is to Aegon in interviews but the setup seems to contradict that, is he just trolling?
I've still not run into anyone whose watched this. Is it literally just incel hatewatchers keeping this franchise alive?
The target audience is women
don't forget male feminist allies and non-whites
yes
I haven’t watched a single episode. I was just about to post that I just have zero interest in anything related to Germ world anymore. No hate. No passion at all. Just…who gives a frick?
Once I saw there were nogs in it I just didn't watch.
No. Women love ASOIAF and HOTD
Is E1 so bad that even leakers Don't leak it or something?
Chris gore seen the first 2 episodes and said they were both mid in his opinion but that fans of the lore might appreciate it because there is a lot of politicking or whatever going on.
>he wants to be like Daemon
good, he wants to bash in the Black personina’s head
>rhaynera
>courage
Them turning Rhaenyra into a warrior kween when she never fought anyone during the Dance will be amusing
3 more sleeps bros.
So did it actually leak or not?
not on screen, only in text descriptions
>only in text descriptions
Have the reddit screenshots been confirmed fake yet?
Please let them be fake
not fake at all
>Aegon father of the year
>Aemond literally wants to have sex with his mom
>Alicent fricks Criston
>Helaena and Jaehaera see Alicent having sex
What are the writers smoking
>Alicent fricks Criston
great, he’s fricked both heroines but he’s still going to get called an incel
>Aemond literally wants to have sex with his mom
absolutely disgusting. he needs to stick to lusting after his sister.
literally wants to have sex with his mom
fricks Criston
and Jaehaera see Alicent having sex
Do we actually alicent nude or is it more implied bullshit?
Implied. She does moan a lot when Criston eats her out
The show is now telling you that these two are the morally reprehensible people trying to steal poor Rhaenyras Throne. Rather than the victims of her entitled, ignorant whoring.
women love forbidden sex
Every new episode time gaps the other by 5 years making the developments in a single episode utterly meaningless and forgetable.
It's a really shit concept that should die with this series
It takes 15 years to contain all of Rhaenyras whoring into one Season of TV.
What? There are no more time jumps other than the 10 days between the end of season 1 and the start of season 2.
didn't realize there was a second season i'm not gonna watch
Then you seem to be lost anon.
not as lost as the people who watch this slop hoping it will ever get a glimpse of the luster of the original show
Watching this show for anything other than the Kaiju fights is idiotic. It is just a worse version of the Book.
The book they made for this show fricking sucks, the Dance worldbuilding we got prior to the book was way fricking better.
Oh and they are not visibly unique only Caraxes and Vhagar you can immediately tell the rest just look like slight variations of Drogon.
>b***h queen of bastards, the smug c**t of Dragonstone
Based Aegon going full chud this season
Fricking baaaaased
I guess that Freemason shit about cheating karma by admitting your evil really works
exactly how many levels of schizophrenic are you on?
Daemon murdered his wife, he’s already maxed out his abusive stat so he doesn’t lose any popularity from further misogyny.
It’s totally fine because daemon can call Alicent a prostitute
>Smashing the model city
What the frick, I hate Aegon now
Couldn't be a more fitting character to do it, its basically a physical representation for his absent fatherhood
good point
viserys really was a fricking shit
The table deserves it. Viserys cared more about that table than he cared about all his kids with Alicent combined. Reminder that Viserys whined no Targs are dreamers anymore when Helena is, he just has never interacts with her so he never knew.
They're trying WAY too hard to make the Blacks looks like the capeshit good guys. Just play heroic music every time they appear on screen. For frick's sake.
Is this show made for stupid people?
Cant wait how they spin the cheesing of kids
not as weird as having a black character making a case for bloodline purity
Much like the later seasons of GoT, it’s made for the lowest common denominator.
They’re trying to build them up so that the horror sets in hard when it ends with Aegon feeding Rhaneyra to his dragon
> Aegon feeding Rhaneyra to his dragon
Sunfyre nooo
I wish I had chemistry.
Don’t be so forlorn anon, nobody can compete with Fabian “The Rizzler” Frankel.
He is gay tho
According to Matt Smith season 3 is going to start filming this year. Looks like Ewan won’t be able to do bond if that’s the case.
soon we shall be graced by her presence once more
I love my queen.
my Brothel Queen
But enough about Rhaenyra and Mysaria
If Helaena and Alicent get gangraped on screen I will literally coom myself to death
They won’t even show a toddler getting killed on screen, they don’t have the balls to do any of the edgy stuff in the book
they don't need to show them gang-raped on screen, just put a scene where they are forced into a brothel by a bunch of horny gold cloaks...gods I want to coom so bad
Brothel queens were completely cut out of the new book.
Calm down Rajdeep.
They've shown ZERO pretty white girl nudity. They've showed more man ass.
Feminazi showrunners have to strike back at men for their years of making hot women get their toys out for Hollywood. HBO now only gives us male ass and male dick shots. If women are allowed to be topless, they have to either be frumpy roastie lesbians, fat or grandmas like in Hacks.
>toys
I meant to say breasts
There's a quick shot of that one chicks ass but it's so flat that it moves the women's nudity meter from 0 into the negatives.
>Leaks say the butcher bc, which they not only frick up basically gets overshadowed by the reveal at the end of the episode that Crispy & Alicent are fricking
Yeah, it's unironically over
Re-watching this show made me realize how fricking cringe it was.
say her name
WE LOVE YOU QUEEN.
Haelaena a cute
HER WHOLE FAMILY IS AUTISTIC.
The True Queen of Westeros.
Graped
This isn’t tik tok you can say rape here
so your saying she was graped hard?
she was gRaPeD so hard she was almost uNaLIvEd!!
graped right in the mouth
Imagine vengeful Helaena
I hope theyll do this. but they wont.
they'll only do changes that make it shittier
Helaena going psycho and killing everything with Dreamfyre before dying in her madness could be more kino than she falls out a window
Of course, I am envisioning something good. That is not what would happen. How about they just stick to the book. They can't do that either. REEEEEEEEEE
If they did that the shitty writers would redeem themselves.
Brothle Queen the Second
the brothel queen
>likes rape
>doesn’t support rapist king
Come to the light
Blackgays vote against their own interests
All Targ kings except for Aerys I, Maekar, Daeron II and Aegon IV are rapists
Daemon castrates rapists and I doubt Rhaenyra would be cool with it either
you mean Aegon V, right? Aegon IV was the Unworthy.
actually all Targ kings are rapists since their occupation and rulership of Westeros is in of itself an act of civilizational rape
I would pay for it ngl
MY WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE
AND A prostitute
*drops mic*
Sunfyre is going to be ugly, I feel it
I will not be watching season 2 because whashername has turned into an insufferable pronoun person. I will not support that kind of thing with my wallet. Goodbye, Max.
Emma has been claiming to be trans before she was ever cast for Season 1 you dunce.
Yes, but she wasn't insufferable about it before, butthole.
She was always insufferable anon. She was always a dumb leftist talking about it's fun to "play a woman"
>using your wallet to begin with
>I will not support that kind of thing with my wallet
uuuuh aren't we all Arrrrrrrrr here in Cinemaphile?
>fricks virgin Rhaneyra
>fricks milf Alicent
Hail the Kingmaker!
More like the Queenfricker
Criston can still be the Kingmaker if turns out Aegon II and the future Aegon III and Viserys II are his meaning that all Targaryens are actually Dornish bastards down the patrilineal line
What's wrong with Alicent and Cole having sex? Does this somehow ruin the characters? I haven't read the book.
That's why people are annoyed by it, also because allegedly Alicent & Cole having sex will divert attention away from a very important (B&C) book moment that shouldn't be downplayed.
good points
smoothbrain
Alicent is a prostitute now, she was supposed to be a repressed prude full of femcel rage. Only Aegon is likable now
What about Aemond?
He was cool but they are turning him into a cuck in season 2
Also:
Olivia said there was a cut scene of them fricking in season 1.
>This is just an opinion but I think it's a perversion of the characters.
In S1 Alicent gives private only fans feet fetish shows to Larys Clubfoot
I don't like how they handled it
Helaena finding them fricking after her son got beheaded is a bit out of place if you ask me
literally changes nothing and it does not downplay blood and cheese like this guy claims
it doesnt change their dynamic or make them hypocrites. cole is obviously already an oathbreaker so he might as well get some old pussy. alicent is is no longer married and free to have sex with whoever she wants
>it does not downplay blood and cheese
Of course it does? If you are interrupting a scene/story with another scene/story you are splitting the attention.
Notice how they didn't cut in a scene of Dragonstone in the middle of the dragon fight last season?
if the boy is dead the scene is over. you fricking whiny b***hes would cry if it was somehow word for word straight from the pages cause blood was 1/4 inch taller than you imagined
What the FRICK is his problem?
>Completely ignores the thousands of civilians she murdered with her dragon and starting the civil war
Kwab, the civil war starts as soon as the cucktower put a crown on that rapist head
>yasss!!! rapists bad!!! girl power!! i hate rap- oh.. nevermind
rape is okay if non-whites do it, get on with the program dumbo
Didn't see the rape. Didn't happen.
I love this universe and characters but this show is just going to be girlbossing and misery porn.
"AGHH U KILLED MY BABY I KILL URS, NOOOO!!! NOT MY HECKIN DRAGON!!! I KILL YOUR OTHER BABY NOW, I SHOULDA WOULDA COULDA BEEN MUHQUEEN"
are we gonna see Daeron the Daring? Or are these lame ass show writers too worried to show a Green who's actually likable?
Not this season. Apparently Gwayne mentions him a couple of times so at the very least it seems that he exists unlike poor Nettles.
S1 ep4 so far and I love Daemon
How to be like him and seduce women pls bros??
Anon…your skin is brown….
still by far the best episode in got series after red wedding 🙂
Is this worth watching? I stopped watching game of thrones at season 4 or 5
No it’s not
Just light the fricking scenes properly this time, please.
I want to sneak in the royal chambers and frick her
Why are women nowadays doing this why are they starving 80% of men from sex
>makes every escalation in the conflict an accident/misunderstanding
>whitewashes rhaenrya
>neuters blood and cheese and turns it into a sitcom moment by ending it with haelaena walking in on cristin and alicent fricking
i already hate this show now, it took 4 seasons for GoT to turn shit but HotD got there in only 1 how outstanding
b***h QUEEN OF BASTARDS, THE SMUG c**t OF DRAGONSTONE
THE prostitute IS PREGNANT (with bastards)
If I was a king I would be a pig king
I would always be naked roaming the castle naked and dirty like a boar
and I would have women in every room to service me sex and I would fill them with royal jeez and just walk around with all my body sweating and body fluids dripping from me
I would hold my war councils and lunch while fricking on the table
You’d be killed within the year by your guard and would be known in history as some ugly idiot loser
it is the best scene when princess Rhaenyra discovers sex
I wish it was me
I wish I bed her and ram through her dragon skinned anus
Bros I'm so horny rn
It's diamond, valyrian steel hard even
They took that from us they fricking took that from us
Something that was casual during ancient times even for commoners
And now it's impossible for 80% of men
And they mock us when they show it being done so easily on tv by an elite and expecting us to relate...
Alicent and Cristons sex scene will be depicted as a loveless act only done by either party to spite Rhaenyra
time to post some leaks:
copypasted from forum of ice and fire
>Rhaenyra enters Blacks' war council and speaks for first time, "Bring me Aemond Targaryen"
>Mysaria snuck out of KL on a ship to Dragonstone, found by Ser Erryk who vouches for her, Daemon angry but releases her from dungeon in exchange for setting up Blood & Cheese; Daemon personally sneaks into the city to hire them.
>Blood & Cheese can't find Aemond so they settle for Aegon's son. Episode ends with Helaena fleeing from the room and bursting in on Alicent and Criston in bed.
Episode 2:
>We suspect "Uncle Gwayne" Hightower, having just arrived from Oldtown, attends the funeral - and that one of his first pieces of dialogue will be Aemond asking "hey, how's Daeron doing?" (a similar exchange with Otto was cut from episode 1.7)
>Rhaenyra and Daemon get into a huge fight over Blood & Cheese, he storms out.
Episode 3:
>In episode 2 or 3 but more probably 2, Aegon will fire Otto and replace him as Hand with Criston:
>"Good, to war then!" -- Episode 3 is more likely given that in the book, Aegon did this in reaction to losing the Riverlands after the Blacks' victories at Harrenhal and Burning Mill - and we now confirmed he Blackwood/Bracken battle is the start of episode 3.
Episode 4:
>The Battle of Rook's Rest.
>The episode begins with the Sack of Duskendale, and Criston behading Lord Darklyn (as seen in trailers
>Baela riding Moondancer is present at the battle, though how much she participates is unclear (to explain how she'd even survive on such a small dragon when Vhagar and Sunfyre were on the field).
>As seen in trailers, after the other three dragons gang-tackle each other to the ground in the forest near the castle,
>Criston on horse and Baela on dragonback race to get to the crash site first.
Episode 5:
>Reactions to Rook's Rest by both sides.
>Meleys's severed head is paraded through the streets (as seen from prominent Caceres spy photos)
Episode 6:
>We know almost nothing about what happens in this episode.
Episode 7:
>Daemon at Harrenhal surveys the gathering armies of the Riverlords.
>Sowing of the Dragonseeds (major spy photos from Llanddwyn Beach, Wales)
>Large-scale food riot in King's Landing, perhaps instigated by Mysaria?
Episode 8 :
>We can't confirm much of what happens in the finale.
But that might just be conjecture.
strongly indicate that at some point (possibly before this) Rhaenyra sneaks into KL disguised as a Septa to try to treat with Alicent. Later pretty much confirmed that in episode 8, Alicent will meet with Rhaenyra again on Dragonstone.....I don't think as a prisoner, but a last desperate peace negotiation that goes nowhere (mostly just to have the actors interacting directly again)
this sounds fricking awful
>Rhaenyra and Daemon get into a huge fight over Blood & Cheese, he storms out
Another whitewashing Rheanyra
Yawn, this character is now just a bland "I'm a woman and bisexual and real heir of my father"shit
Rhaenyra wasn’t even involved in blood and cheese In The book
She didn't get into a screaming match over Daemon about it, though. I think she was in her depressed and withdrawn phase.
>Seasmoke starts following Addam of Hull around
aww man, RIP whats his face. I liked him
scene is Cargyll-bowl: Aegon sends Arryk to kill Rhaenyra but is stopped in her chamber by his twin Erryk; no one can tell which is which and they end up killing each other.
This is so funny and also moronic
>she doesn't ultimately enjoy it.
kek of course
>Daemon personally sneaks into the city to hire them.
slight blackwash that he does it personally but it doesn't really make a difference morally
>Blood & Cheese can't find Aemond so they settle for Aegon's son
HUGE whitewash, of Daemon no less, but all the Blacks with him.
> forum of ice and fire
what’s that
Could Shakespeare write Game of Thrones?
Allicent is a good friend
and now the detailed season 2 episode 1 spoilers

Aemond arrives and sits on the council; Alicent is angry at him and doesn't want him on the council but Aegon *overrules her*, much to her discouragement.
continued because fricking text limit
Aegon thinks this is a reasonable request but politely says he will be paid appropriately when they can."
continued
"Out of the throne room, Larys starts driving a wedge between Otto and Aegon, by pointing out to Aegon that he's largely seen as just Otto's puppet.
Larys then speaks to Alicent: given that many of her old handmaids and servants were Mysaria's spies he gathered them all up after Viserys died (last season) and explains now that he had them killed. But he will replacethem with his own agents of proven loyalty. Alicent is NOT amused by this, realizing they're not just loyal to the Greens but Larys personally, and is upset at having them in her close presence - things like bathing, dressing her, combing her hair -- Cooke did acknowledge in an interview that Alicent's look will deteriorate a bit as the season progresses, well not "deteriorate" but simplify: her Season 1 hairstyle was too complex for one person to braid herself...so there's going to be a subtle visual hint that she doesn't trust her own servants to be in her presence anymore.
continued
>- as soon as she's out of their grip she grabs her daughter and runs - reaches her mother's chambers, bursts in to find her naked riding Criston, says they've killed her son
LMAO
we will never see female nudity in sex scenes again and all sex scenes have woman on top of the man
I'm ready for the meltdowns and rhaaenyra fans calling alicent a hypocrite
I'm not a rhaenyra fan but she's a whooore and self righteous
We already know that she's a brothel queen, no need to call her a hypocrite
>He criticizes that Rhaenys could have killed the Greens when she had the chance
>Rhaenys realizes that he's just lashing out irrationally
doesn't sound so irrational to me
Both those scenes could easily be fixed by having the Twins on stage with Aegon.
Millions wasted for a subpar adaption of mediocre material.
>it fell apart in the books but it falling apart in a different way in the show is worse
GRRM has zero credibility at this point, just let the people who make TV make TV.
all of that sounds pretty boring not gonna lie i expected more
is the Dance just boring? or is all the good stuff happenin later?
They just changed it to be as lame and gay as humanely possible.
>is the Dance just boring? or is all the good stuff happenin later?
the good stuff mostly happens later. crazy shit goes down. or it would if the showrunners weren't fricking it up.
Would you have sex with your uncle if you were both drunk and he brought you to a brothel?
A song of pussy and juice hahaha
I'm so hard with all those sex scenes that I could stick it inside that grandmaster of keys old fella and rampage his keyhole
they filmed the green scenery in Scotland it's so beautiful... (with Lady Diarhea)
Imagine if the world could still look like that...
Why is there a horny schizo in here
Some audio has leaked on Twitter.
This was all revealed prior to Lyonel Strong's first canonical mention in The Rogue Prince (2014).
what do you make of this?
Huh? Rhaenyra's claim has been buffed up big time by the show's inventions.
>i'm saving the world from a future white walker invasion
>the white hart chose me
>my rivals also believe the king's word matters more than law or precedent, so even they know i'm the real heir
>three very strong characters with strong arcs
>very strong and emotional, despite the >bastardized script
>illegitimize her struggle
>a strong claim to inheritance.
oh you!.jpg
Final tribute!
>they ruined Blood and Cheese.
ONE JOB. anyway, hard pass. see you next season
next season will be worse just saying
He's literally me
The fact that they made him a full on Anime character is beyond based
They will ruin this scene.
> Alicent the hero of the story that saved Rhaenyra’s son Aegon III
Kek she wants Jaehaera to slice his neck
How to learn to speak beautiful like they do on the Game of Thrones? How to speak poetic English like that and act like that like a nobleman? How?
go on holiday to Essex and lie down in the gutter outside a pub when a big game is on.
ngl im decently hyped for this
not like obsessed but i'm happy it's back
Me too
I ain't even torrent this garbage after the leaks
Fricking same.
This shit isn’t even worth the effort to pirate.
>they killed the boy
>hop in here make a new one
HOTD ?more like HOT GARBAGE
Why can't they use the multiverse like Marvel and make things interesting making characters travelling back in time to visit their ancestors and bringing back some GoT characters?
So where is Lary's foot fetish subplot going to go?
>aegon is an alcoholic
>mysaria/daemon have spies all over the red keep
>never once do they come up with the idea to just order one of their spies to put poison in aegon’s drinks
Are they fricking moronic?
It would make more sense than le blood and muh hecking cheese. Just put poison in their fricking drinks.
Well what I should be asking is GRRM and the TV writers moronic?
>trying to call everyone moronic
>has apparently never heard of wine tasters
poisons can have antidotes, wine tasters can take the antidote beforehand
Assuming the food tasters are in your pocket is a huge leap
like how the ratcatcher was in their pocket
So because they recruited a janitor you assume they must have also recruited the royal food taster?
they recruited the Gold Cloaks as well
If you're referring to B&C, they recruited one (former) Goldcloak.
I’m referencing the takeover of KL
Post evidence of anyone tasting Aegon’s wine before he drinks it?
I’ll wait.
Leaked audio of Aegon talking to tyland about his son and talking to Otto about sheep.
https://x.com/ladylaogai/status/1801739991237722209
>They won't know
Kek
Also I wonder if Aegon is being genuine or if he wants to humiliate Tyland
Genuine. Did you not see the photos of him smiling at the throne? Apparently that’s when he swears his son as prince of dragonstone. Dude is proud.
damn, i forgot the inexplicable darkies. oh well
I'm severely balding and I almost have the same long haircut as the old king on the last episodes after the ellipse.
I hope it's not too late to hop on finasteride and minoxidil.
enjoy your new breasts
>all the interesting court intrigue and plotting is pretty much over now that the sides are chosen and war has started
>the show keeps pushing the insufferable Rhaenyra Alicent lesbian feminist shit when they're supposed to despise each other at this point
>women bad men good
>Aegon will maybe be fun for 3 episodes because of the actor's efforts until Rook's Rest happens and he's out of comission
>show Rhaenyra is too much of a good girl to be fun to watch
>Daemon will barely do anything of note
>Alicent Cole crap only exists to bait the "dude GoT has sex and violence!!!!" crowd
>show Criston remains a dumb moron but at least he's handsome
>a shit ton of minor characters are introduced but none get to do fun stuff yet
So what's the appeal of season 2?
Rewatching the show with my brother, holy frick I forgot how absolutely awful episode 9 is. Especially Rhaenys at the coronation. The show's quality falls off hard near the end of s1
>Daemon, white
>Daemon's wife, mixed
>Their kids, blacker than the wife
I'm confused
Creates a precedent that means Daemon Blackfyre will be black. You lack the vision to recognise kino.
>dude everyone is morally ambiguous there are no true villains
BOOOOOORING
I miss Joffrey and Ramsay
But the greens are the true villains in the show. Sure we can argue semantics or the books or the law, but in the show they've very clearly the villains.
>NO VHAGAR NOOO
Aemond should have scooped Luke’s eyes out like in the book, we need a true menace not these misunderstood souls that I feel sorry for
Rhaenyra is a filthy little prostitute
If I had my way I’d crush her face in the door.
Why I am supposed to sympathize with a prostitute again?
season 2 will be bad if it doesnt include fat post pregnancy rheanyra eating tarts and cakes in bed and crying until mushroom makes her laugh with bawdy jokes
cinema denied
how come grrm is such a feminist hippy cuck but accidentally based at the same time
I truly don't get how he can write this but then also legitimately fall for the drumpf gunna kill democracy stuff cause of the fine people inject bleach jan 6 dictator for a day
He appears to have spent much of his life living in a bit of a liberal bubble, it's not that big a surprise.
Would the show be better or worse if it was book cheese-pilled Rhaenyra?
Those black people with white wig is so fricking ugly holy shit
*are. Are a ghetto wigger?
OC
appreciated
ok, now this is epic
What was deleted?
Reuploaded
In S1 they made the green banner a green dragon rather than gold, did they change this for S2? Are they really retconning the dragon called SUNFYRE to not look impressive and be the sigil of their faction?
Ya Condal called sunfyres beauty propaganda and refers to syrax as the golden. The other changes are whatever but that’s just petty bullshit on his part
Why would he even have an issue with a piece of canon like that?
Seems weird to shit on the Greens about everything. Their side loses, all their people die, let them have their golden fricking dragon.
them doing Sunfyre properly was the one thing I actually cared about so of course we get this fricking jackass
Because they want to make it more visually understood why they’re called the greens and the blacks by having their banners reflect that
I find it hard to pick a sign in this show.
They all seem like shit.
Helaena!
>they killed the boy
She’s autistic.
Actually all her kids are.
and
>show about the Targaryens self-destruction
kinda based
has the absence of mushroom been mentioned in any interview ever somewhere?
Why did they made the side of racial supremacists full of black people
no one looks like they're supposed to, also you cant win awards if your content doesnt involve women and minorities, it's officially written in the rules
>Cinemaphile favours the greens
>reddit favours the blacks
i wonder why
Because the greens are more interesting and complex characters.
what are house of sneed's words and colors?
formerly chuck's
any leaks about Rhea Royce flashback?
Why are Dornish so ugly, disgusting and non-white?
According to GRRM, the Dornish are Mediterranean people. They’re not meant to be non-white but closer to Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, North Africans, Turkish etc
Im rewatching and goddamn I COMPLETELY forgot about the foot scene somehow
>Take one of the most mysterious characters in GRRM lore and turn him into a foot gay
What did Sarah Hess mean by this?
>Septon Eustace suggests somewhat waspishly that Her Grace’s own hungers were slaked largely with sweetmeats, cakes, and lamprey pie, as Rhaenyra grew ever more stout during her days in King’s Landing.
2 more sleeps
It feels so surreal to be actually airing after all this time.
I remember feeling that way before GoT season 8
ZERO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE BATTLE ABOVE THE GODS EYE
Where did Aemond and Vhagar go
I deserve a leak right now
so you can cry about it?
yes
Go to the toilet anon
OMG THEY MADE MY HECKIN EDGELORD GREENS LOOK BAD IM LOOSING MY MIND
Who are you talking to
the mob ITT rn
> the mob
A generous way to refer to the 10 people in total in this thread.
The most heinous act committed in this story is perpetuated by the blacks
and its not being cut out
but it's being minimized by them pussying out on how horrible it as and having halaena run into her mom having sex with cole when it happens
i don't want to be definitive as I obviously haven't seen it but it seems like it's being played for laughs to lighten the scene
oh no how will you ever recover
I accept your concession
OH NO THEY MADE THE BLACKS LOOK LESS EVIL BY NOT SHOWING A CHILDE BEING MURDERED ON SCREEN AND ONLY IMPLYING IT IM LOOSING MY MIND
Alicent and Cole fricking takes the gravity right of it out. “Yeah yeah that was horrible and all BUT LOOK AT THIS FORGET THAT OTHER THING”
pre-meditated feigned outrage
Calm down I already accepted your concession, you don't have to keep going
telling yourself you are accepting a concession with no concession was ever given is in itself a concession that you have nothing left to give accept to pretend the other person gave a concession but yeah haha keep going
see
I forgot, did d’Arcy even speak in High Valyrian? I remember monke was killing it, but don’t remember the troony
did anyone in either series ever speak in low valyrian?
Daenerys
>Worries about the smallfolk
Aegon would have been a good king if he had the chance
Yeah that’s what they’re trying to show is that if Viserys had actually trained Aegon and loved him then Aegon would at the very least have been a well-intentioned king and could potentially have been a good king with the right advisors instead of the wastrel he ended up being and being forced onto the throne with little training during a war that would ultimately break him
black apologists are subhuman
>the gods eye is a bottomless lake
>aemond’s corpse fell into the lake along with his dragon
>also years later a bunch of swimmers totally swam to the bottom of the gods eye bro and managed to somehow drag up both aemond and his dragon just don’t ask how they did this tho
Nice season 7 tier writing there GRRM.
GRRM really did tap out after writing that last Dunk & Egg novella. F&B fricking sucked.
They got the white walkers to pull Vhagars skeleton out with a big chain
>drag up
They only recovered Dark Sister
And probably pocketed the sapphire
The rest was left there
Anons point is that the gods eye is extremely deep, beyond what is possible to hold your breath to swim to the bottom of.
I know what his point was
He said the skeletons were dragged up
No they weren’t
I mean obviously daemon didn’t fricking leap from his dragon and stab aemond in the eye. When I read that in world of ice in fire in like 2015 I was like ok obviously this was just a folk tale told years later by small folk who lionized daemon for taking down the terror of the trident. People actually thought that shit was real? Kek. That’s not even possible, like against the laws of physics lmao!
this makes sense and you cant really argue it and when you think about it everything is just a tale and so there is no reason to believe alicent was not having sex with cole when her grandson was killed
they better do it cause it's awesome though
frick off with your physics I dont fricking care
its true all the maesters and septons and alleged small fold accounts are bullshit so stop getting mad when the writers tell it another way
>the book has unreliable narrators
so is the show though, it's a visual telling from Mushrooms perspective
>GRRM said it's canon
GRRM is a fat frick and the HBO exec offered him a burger to say that, but more importantly, yes, it's canonically Mushrooms perspective (fake and gay)
The canon is what I say it is, simple as.
>The canon is what I say it is, simple as.
based
>GRRM said it's canon
He literally just had some sort of public statement b***hing about showrunners changing source material and it always being made worse.
I know but I only said that because he also has a quote where GRRM said that what happens in the show is canon and I know someone is going to throw that at me
>It looks better on me than it ever did on him
How will they butcher this?
I don’t know how they are going to play it out between Aegon and Aemond. Ewan says how loyal Aemond is to Aegon in interviews but the setup seems to contradict that, is he just trolling?
