It's weird how Daemon was repulsed the second she started trying to frick him back. I think he viewed sex as a means of control back then and he needed to mellow out a bit before he could have an actual relationship with Rhaenyra

Is that what it was supposed to imply? I thought it was more he realised what he was doing was wrong/for the wrong reasons/felt guilty because of his brother and couldn’t go through with it even if she wanted him too.

Yeah if you didn’t notice he was at odds with Viserys and he wasn’t sure what stance to take. It was just at that moment when he was about to bang Rhanera he was like frick this and went into exile or wherever he went. Then after some soul searching he became totally loyal to Viserys, which I think he was the whole time but they were always having disagreements. That was Daemon’s whole arc before the timeskip, his wavering loyalty to Viserys.

I think it was more Daemon realizing that he was genuinely attracted to Rhaenyra outside of just wanting some nubile pussy and thus was confused and felt out of his usual realm of comfort. The scene when Rhaenyra confronts Daemon at Dragonstone and Daemon runs back to his Asian gf for comfort should've shown how Rhaenyra's confidence and bravado made him feel differently about her.
Also there's a potential link in how Daemon wields Visenya's sword and Rhaenyra definitely acts more like Visenya than most other Targ princesses.

      >The day after the series premiere, HBO said the episode had been viewed by an estimated 9.99 million viewers in the U.S. on its first night of availability – including linear viewers and streams on HBO Max – which it said was the largest single-day viewership for a series debut in the service's history, dethroning Euphoria.[129] After one week of availability, the viewership rose to nearly 25 million in the U.S. across all platforms.[130] Nielsen estimated that the episode was watched by 10.6 million viewers on HBO Max in the first four days, with the number increasing to 14.5 million when including the viewership on the main HBO channel.[a][131] Samba TV meanwhile stated that 4.8 million U.S. households streamed the episode in the first four days.[132] The series was also popular on social media, with the show premiere being the number one trending topic on Twitter and Google Trends.[133]

      >The finale of the first season was watched by 9.3 million viewers across all platforms during its premiere night according to HBO, which was the highest viewership for any finale of a HBO show since the series finale of Game of Thrones. The show averaged 9–9.5 million viewers for an episode on premiere night and 29 million total viewers after a week of release.[134]

      >Nielsen stated in November 2022 that 35% of the viewers of the show were in the age range of 18–34.[135] Similar to Game of Thrones, the first season of House of the Dragon was extensively pirated.[136] According to TorrentFreak, it was the most pirated series of 2022, ahead of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and other series.[137]

Inbreeding, especially for genetically less diverse people have much more benefits than the deleterious effects.
      https://www.nature.com/articles/hdy201325.pdf

Basically, with more genetic diversity, the inbreeding will be quite dangerous to you.
but with less genetic diversity, the inbreeding will be quite optimal for you.

You can see it in an empirical way in the Middle East and Pakistan, where genetically diverse people inbreed and suffer from low cognitive ability. And low genetic diversity correlates with lower risk because of the low number of deleterious alleles and may even lead to higher intelligence, for example, in Japan, the Habsburgs, the Egyptian Greeks, and Askenazi israelites, because the less genetic diversity you have through inbreeding, the more you can increase your additive genes tremendously.
tldr, inbreeding is only problematic for mutts.

A man who isn't fit to breed with his cousin isn't fit to breed at all

Rome and later Holy Rome banned incest to screw with the genetic purity of German and Egyptian trirbes

This is the reason they have created so much taboo against white people inbreeding
The word "motherfricker" is a subtle humilation of Pure Germanss

I mean we said 2 different things. I said it was on par with post S4 got, so on par with S5+ (better honestly). But now I’m starting to agree with you about it being on par with 3 and 4. My opinion always was anything after S4 sucked, I dropped it there. I don’t care if he was nerfed/sick with an infected wound, I dropped the show as soon as the Hound randomly jobbed to Brienne. Dropped it harder when S5 rolled around. Couldn’t make it through the sand snake scenes and dropped it until the final season then got caught up. All said and done I don’t know what my problem was. I think the entirety of GoT was kino, albeit all the really really great scenes like war stories are all regulated to the first few seasons. I think the last really great scene was Tyrion’s hearing with Tywin as the judge and he demands trial by combat. Also Tywin was the best character, throwing that out there.
