It's a nice touch. The Iron Throne, the symbol of Targaryen supremacy being chipped away sword by sword with each passing generation like their power and influence and also their slow and steady departure from what set them at the top in the first place.

King Jaehaerys I wasn't at the Great Council of 101. Also Prince Viserys and Princess Rhaenys would be much younger if this was from the GC101. This is a badly lit promo pic.

I hate that they call flails morningstars. A morningstar is a mace with a spiked head. A flail is what he's using and they're called morningstars in the novels wrongly the whole time. Plus they're mentioned as a fairly common weapon which is also silly since (while they were used historically) they weren't common. Polearms, axes, maces, hammers, swords, daggers... all of these would have been significantly more common.
Plus a flail is a garbage weapon for most situations. Especially the short ones like seen here. It's literally almost childhood toy level useless in a close melee where there are shields and armor lol.

All i can see on this photo that all the old actors looks completely ugly and unwatchable, terrible casting. The only thing worth to watch will be young Rhaenyra since she is aesthetically pleasing to look like.
I'm a huge fan of the books and liked the show for a while, but I just can't bring myself to care. The Brand is poison right now with Winds being endlessly delayed and the show being garbage. The only thing that could possibly save the franchise is releasing Winds and its just fricking amazing.
