yeah idea of evil has the same problem as the chaos gods in 40k and warhammer fantasy. it just doesnt work on a very basic level. idea of good isnt supposed to work because the idea of evil isnt really just "evil", it just represents the sum average of humanities inner desire to be ruled over/face hardship or something like that
its like a fantasy version of the matrix. also lovecraft in the way that the godhand have sort of weird actions, never seeming to directly act in coherent ways except for griff because they also claim to just be doing the will of the idea of evil

Femto isn't a God. If he was, he wouldn't have needed the stars to align for a ritual, and a host for a body that would let him be reborn in the physical world. He had absolutely now power over how that came together. He doesn't even have full control over his hosts body.

No, saying that Femto is not a god because his power to manipulate a real or the merged realms is too limited to be a God. He's at best a Demi-God granted power by whomever the sacrifices are offered to and branded by. None of the apostles brand the sacrifices themselves, they just receive them so there is an entity above the god hand and apostles that grants them powers and sacrifices.
