on episode 2.
It's just boring.
I don't even know what the main plot is supposed to be: andor finds a crashed ship 20 years ago is supposed to tie into modern day?
the side plot about 2 goons being whacked in an alley way is the only thing moving the plot.
boring. If episode 3 doesn't blow my mind, i'm not going to bother with anymore.
idk, man.
I just finished episode 3.
Everything that happened in those 3 episodes could have been compressed into 1 episode.
It's literally andor wandering about for 3 episodes shitting himself that he killed 2 guys in an alley way.
You know, they've done so much dumb shit with lightsabers over the years, frick 'em. Don't want to see another dumb goddamn backflip lightsaber fight as long as I live.
I thought it was a pretty damn good so far. None of this corny, dorky armorcore bullshit from all those dumb mandalorian shows. It's just a straight up, well made, action oriented drama. Looks good, good writing, good acting, believable plot.
That said...I mean, I bet Disney still will find a way to frick all this up. I just know there's going to be a troony love interest or something coming down the road.
a bunch of brown people with brown eyes talking in fake english accents. And yeah, it's also Star Wars, or supposed to be. Not gonna watch it past Episode 2 anymore
It's very slow so I can't really say much about it. I will say the production value is miles ahead of Kenobi and BoBF. The music is way less made for TV and the practical effects are pretty good. So far it's just been about Andor trying to get away with murder he committed in the first few minutes. I expect it to get much better once that problem is over. At least I hope the whole show isn't just Andor trying to get away from the police.
Look at how hard they are shilling that deputy inspector homosexual. He's on every bit of promotional material.
Of course the show is going to be about him trying to get away with killing 2 goons in the first 10 minutes of the first episode.
Easily the weakest of Disney's Star Wars series thus far, it's just dull. It feels like a generic sci-fi show with Star Wats slapped onto it, it might as well be called "After Earth: The Series"
Liked some of it, like the ship designs, Karn is a great character (everyone else is a cardboard cutout compared to him), and the flashbacks are good, though their placement feels a tad random at times, and I admit the opening scene is fantastic, though I am amused that the brothel bar doesn't have a single Twi'lek hooker when even TCW could do that.
It's also very obvious this was meant to be one long episode, because the three episodes are weirdly paced, have a lot of small scenes of nothing, it's just odd.
I'm beginning to see why they pushed Bad Batch season 2 back until January.
Also, one character says "Shit!" And it instantly took me out of the show, I legit facepalmed. Stuff like that made me wonder if this was some show Tony Gilroy wrote, but no one was interested, so he he did a hasty rewrite and made it Star Wars.
It's a nothing character but the environment from backwater planets is the most Star Warsy I've seen since Mando. The problem is still that I don't care about this nothing character plus I know he dies like a b***h.
Not a whole lot happens.
Because they didn't always use that tiny Mandalorian soundstage with the Unreal Engine, and actually shot some of it on location, there is a subtle but all encompassing different in how the actors relate to their environment. They behave like they are actually in a forest, rather than 15t feet of forest. This is small but appreciated.
Forced diversity is present but not egregiously triumphant, more checkbox.
Andor, the character, is bland. But unlike the equally bland Boba Fett, the show treats him more like a passport to show off the world rather than make the show about a nothing character. Still not great, but it something.
That was never true anon. The Separatist Council consisted of alien corporate types but their senate had human worlds like Onderon where Saw Gerrera and Lux Bonteri were from and Count Dooku's planet Serenno.

>2 goons being whacked in an alley way
Did they just copy the scene from Rogue One?
idk, man.

Oh yea, this is the story about the guy who died at the end of rogue one. Very cool!
>not one blonde guy
Yeah, hard pass on this goyslop.
>blonde guy
so a troony?
It’s terrible. Unwatchable. Just more endless woke nonsense disguised in the form of a show.
I heard it's basically a 12 hour long movie so 3 episodes in and it feels like the first quarter of a movie stretched out to 3 hours.
That girl sure is pretty though.
wouldnt have a clue
boy they just keep shitting out star wars shows
Will they ever make something new?
no, how would you know it's supposed to be a star war
And where the frick are the lightsabers
You know, they've done so much dumb shit with lightsabers over the years, frick 'em. Don't want to see another dumb goddamn backflip lightsaber fight as long as I live.
Please tell me you're kidding.
doesn't feel like star wars and that's a good thing
*yawn*
It's like watching paint dry
goyslopsisters… /qa/ took our meme and made it a certified gem. Whatever shall we do?

you know how 90s and early 00's stuff like stargate or xena or hercules would have an entire storyarc contained i ln a single episode?
Andor is 3 episodes in, and its been the equivalent of the first 10minutes of such a show, plot-wise
just nothing happens
GOOLD?

Why have they completely lost the idea of pacing? It's killing the shows.
Also, one character says "Shit!" And it instantly took me out of the show, I legit facepalmed. Stuff like that made me wonder if this was some show Tony Gilroy wrote, but no one was interested, so he he did a hasty rewrite and made it Star Wars.
yes we know anon we saw your post like five times today
>one character says "Shit!"
Every other word the average American utters is "shit"
It's a nothing character but the environment from backwater planets is the most Star Warsy I've seen since Mando. The problem is still that I don't care about this nothing character plus I know he dies like a b***h.
Everything BUT the main character is interesting.
>Kennedy
Why are you guys even watching it?

Do you feel accomplished after writing this post?
this show made me believe in fanbaiting. nobody is talking about it. at least people are talking about that shit little mermaid live action remake.
>nobody is talking about it
Black person it literally just came out today
>nobodies talking about it because it just came out today
more goyslop generals? because there's no way in hell a single unpaid person is interested in this.
your a homosexual for watching this shit in the first place
twitter is going nuts over Andor
"Best Star Wars since Kenobi" - twitter
If they know hardcore Star Wars fans hate what they're doing then why do they keep making it this way?
>CIS ship full of humans
That was dumb. The whole point of the CIS is that they were all the aliens ignored and oppressed by the human led Republic.
That was never true anon. The Separatist Council consisted of alien corporate types but their senate had human worlds like Onderon where Saw Gerrera and Lux Bonteri were from and Count Dooku's planet Serenno.
