Whatever happened to him at the end?

He cooked a rabbit he killed in his garden, that was his last scene in the show

He killed Tony for burning down his restaurant and the show just ends

False. David Chase basically admitted in an interview a couple months ago that Tony didn’t die, but that Noah knocked his fricking lights out.

He found his passion for cooking again through realizing that the life his ancestors lived weren't the best but it was simple and no-nonsense, unlike his. The cooking of the rabbit with the special recipe was a way to say that Artie will go back to his roots and try to fix his problems, and that involves not being part of the subplots of a mafia show.

bullshit. tony said some shit after benny got cornholed by phil but we never see him get made or anyone mention he's a made guy. he's not made.

-Tony had a soft spot for him as a childhood friend
-Benny was stealing from him which Tony wouldn't have been ok with at all and didn't find out about it until it had already come to a head
-Benny soon after fricked him up so it was just considered settled

So was it Artie's shellfish or was it the ghee?

The other diners on Tony's table that had the shellfish didn't get sick so almost certainly the Indian. Though food poisoning can take a few days to actually hit so it could potentially be something he ate before that night.

Was the French conman plot a bit silly in hindsight?

    >new character suddenly shows up
    >offers 40% or some unrealistic return
    >just need some of your money quick lol
    >chef who avoided getting too involved with mobsters pounces on this offer

Furio showing up at the French guys door after he beats up Artie is supremely kino.

Completely agree. My point stands nevertheless.

Artie clearly wanted to live their life without actually living it. If i'm not mistaken this happens around the same time he splits up with Charmaine, starts hitting on girls way out of his league. Guy was going through a mid-life crisis, it's not too far fetched to think he'd get suckered into a get rich quick scheme.

    >Tony takes pity on him and has a soft spot
    >almost completely removed from "our thing"
    >cooks everyone their favorite food
    >was pretty much in the right for whooping Benny
    >Tony was probably a little proud of Artie for not being a b***h for once, too
    >been a while since I watched but I think Benny got some revenge too so any kind of justice Tony would make is already inflicted

Its not a problem when civilians do it. Only when made members do it. Theoretically all made members, even the boss are equal, its only when they break universal rules can they be beaten/killed by their own. And only dont by another member. It reinforces the idea that no one except the family can touch its members.

Micheal Di leonardo, a high ranking capo in the Gambino crime families talked about how he was fought and even got beaten up. Despite being that high up in a prestigious crime family. The thing is civilians come in many shapes and sizes and are not part of that world. And therefore not subjected to the rules that govern it.

fricking moronic theory there. if you know a guy is made you can't touch him no matter who you are. artie is clearly of the understanding of which guys are made. he's not a "civilian". also benny is not a made guy so it doesn't matter anyway.

out of all the mob hits post 2000's, less than five were civilians. And even then their involvement with LCN was pretty obvious. Much deeper than cuck town artie.

And these are scum of scum, they probably did get into dozens of scuffles with civilians since 2000. You may be moronic though and think differently. Id love too se what your explanation of the data is though.

        >artie is clearly of the understanding of which guys are made. he's not a "civilian".
He is not part of that life just bc he knows a couple guys. By extension tony could kill and beat any civilian who disrespects him.

He's chad power are deeply hidden but once they're unleashed, he can do anything. In a Shakespearean plot, he'd invite all of of Tony's crew to Nuovo Vesuvio and kill them all by poisoning their meals. My only gripe with him is that he didn't beat the crap out of that French man.

man, if i was artie i'd have force fed Furio meatballs until he died. between every meatball Furio would have had to yell out UP IN DA CLUB. i'd imagine him sobbing, knowing there's another meatball on its way. there's no way out until death. maybe artie would grab his ponytail and smash his face into a bowl of piping hot marinara just to break up the monotony now and then.

Yes and Theirs a reason Paulie doesn't brag about killing old ladies to tony. Or when vito kills the civie in the traffic jam. Etc etc.. You have to get an ok from the boss. Which is what Benny tried with tony.

if he were made he would have been saying "I'M A MADE GUY ARTIE CAN'T TOUCH ME". he never said that shit because he's not made.
