The knowledge of their language is sexually transmitted.
They explain that in the books
Also took a year to cross the great grass ocean too.
the show always had to distort time some to make things sync up, and this was reasonablely done for the first half of the show's run, but by the end it was a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff
Every time I see how they ruined my ironborn waifu I get mad
>changed her name to Yara because thought americans were too stupid to realise Osha and Asha were two different people
many such cases
didn't realize GoT only aired in america
produced, directed and written by americans innit
>hodor got changed from walder to Willis so people wouldn't confuse him with walder Frey
anyone that would make that mistake deserves public execution
You're a fricking idiot, stop posting.
Huh?
Americans are so stupid they can't even grasp their own stupidity, americans are a blight upon the planet
You are moronic and should stop posting.
D&D also merged Dany with Faegon, nothing they say should be taken seriously
that's some poor cope
but enough about your parents calling you handsome
we were talking about American moronation, like how they routinely pay to mutilate their boys at birth
The 'Led Zeppelin' rule we call this. They thought that Americans would read 'Lead' as 'Leed' and the pun would go over their heads.
This is the pure, unbridled arrogance of pseuds. *Their* stupid asses couldn’t keep them straight and assumed that no one’s smarter than them. One of the hallmarks of actual stupidity is the complete inability to imagine that others might be smarter than oneself.
>grass ocean
>Kong Hong
>Muhreen
for me, it's brysbane
>DeTroyt
>DeTroyt
>detroyt located in the southernmost remote area of the most dangerous continent of the game of thrones earth
I get the joke. I love the joke.
Martin's timeline is never explained but fan theory is that Dany's marriage to Drogo happened 1 year before the death of Jon Arryn
She’s so empathetic, social and smart by nature that she picks up on language intuitively through a deep, and mind you sexual understanding, of everyone around her
She spent a lot of time studying it on the shitter. She takes big poops.
she wasn't that good at it. in S3 Missandei says her Dothraki sucks. Drogo was just being nice when he said she was good at it
This isn't 24 homie, show isn't in real time
it wasn't two weeks. Anyway if you live amongst a people speaking a different language and it is all you are exposed to 24/7 even adults can pick up simple things quickly. It's what our brains are best at.
You can accept dragons, zombies and faceless men, but you cant accept a smart woman that can learn a language? Why are you so bigoted?
Lol what excatly made this incest baby smart?
Your very own distant ancestors were ruled over by incest babbys for centuries.
They must have SOMETHING going for them.
The fact that she was from a long line of noble blood. Amerimuts wouldn't understand. Your genes are mostly Black person and spear-chucking native.
rather have african and native blood then be a product of fricking incest
come to think of it I can't remember a single moment of Dany being intelligent in the entire show, can you? her being of noble birth obviously doesn't count for shit if she doesn't actually say or do anything smart
smartest thing she did was to stop resisting drogo and then making him fall in love with her.
And here the fricking moronic eurotrash appears in full moronation.
that is such a poor argument and the hallmark of a moron who thinks he is smart
having a thing that isn't real in our world doesn't mean nothing has to make sense at all, in universe dragons zombies and faceless men are all established and have their own set of logic to them, those things can brake in universe logic, for example Arya, trains blind with a staff and never learns how to take a face, yet when she gets to westeros she is a master of the sword and dagger and can easily make faces, this doesn't make sense and can't just be excused with 'well faceless men aren't real'
that is such a poor argument and the hallmark of a moron who thinks he is smart.
You are quite bigoted. News for you: women can learn things and that is logical in this universe and in got universe.
The fact that you once again point to a woman not being able to learn just exemplifies that.
>2 weeks
Season 1 is about a year long, and she was constantly immersed in the culture and studying it actively every day. Its completely plausible that she would be conversant in the language after a year of study.
By a year of living in a culture you probably would’ve completely mastered it. After 3 months you would probably be completely conversational in it, but would struggle to think up some certain words every once in awhile. After 6 months of studying about an hour or 2 a day you could get like B2 level and be able to read and understand most of a language, it might take another month of talking to people to pick up the ear for it, and be able to verbally communicate fluidly, though
t. speaks 3 languages
They were a race of horse-riding plunderers, I strongly doubt they had this immense body of philosophical thought/science/subtle wordplay.
The dick was that good.
Also she was there for awhile. Long enough for a baby to be about due, she was trying to assimilate. And she was already at least bilingual making it easier to aquire another language.
She was there for months at least and she had her maids teach her
she spent a lot of time with horses
The same way she learned reverse cowgirl. From her literal slaves
She started learning it as a child, they pick up languages really quickly when immersed.
After the years I forgot that she was actually hot
pic related
I really like those costumes, they seem something that people in that world could actually make and wear.
In contrast post-season 6, feel unnatural
when you're totally immersed in a different language/culture you tend to learn very quickly.
The Dothraki hardly seem intellectual. I don't imagine it's all that hard to learn <1,000 words.
>those were the King's words
>we have a new King now
the writing was shit even in S1. there's zero reason Bobby B would do this whole private note thing making Ned Reagent
you would be surprised how often throughout history this sort of succession shit occurred.
She learnt it to a basic level. Even a few seasons later she's still being corrected by her translator.
