It is kind of amazing how only a few decades ago most normal and below-average guys could pretty easily get a gf. I'm not talking about the 1950s or 1960s, I'm talking about the 1980s-2010. I graduated high school in 2013 and most anyone who really wanted to date, get laid, go to prom, or have a relationship could do it. Suddenly, in the past 8-10 years things just collapsed. Guys I knew who regularly dated in HS are mostly single or in relationships but unmarried and without kids. I think high schools are still okay for the kids to date if they want to because they aren't allowed to use dating apps (18+ only) and they are forced to be in a place with a large number of people that its pretty close to 50-50 male/female. Once you're out of college it seems really tough to find people these days.
