$9 as a price made sense for the show and the twin towers actually look like that and is one of New York's most prominent landmarks. Coincidence.

      Anonymous

$9 was a lot for a magazine in the late '90s.
also, why showing the price like that in huge characters

$9 is insanely high. This isn't a ps1 magazine with demo

$9 was the price for the bus ticket being advertised, not the magazine itself you morons

Wrong, the page was advertising the bus, which was being sold for $9.

Coincidence like the pearl harbor attack comic release in 1941

Was Pearl Harbor a false flag (or at least anticipated by the US higher-ups)?
      Because 9/11 for sure was

        Anonymous

        >Was Pearl Harbor anticipated by the US
        short answer: YES

long answer: FDR wanted the US to be a part of WWII, but the general consensus of the US was isolationism, to let the other half of the world fight it out amongst themselves. but since the US had control of japan's oil supply, they cut it off, then blocked/ignored all of japan's attempts to communicate, forcing japan to attack the closest US target, pearl harbor.

It was an 80% trade tariff on petroleum.

I doubt anybody in DC had any idea the imperial Japanese would react like that. Though, some have suggested as much.

The tariff was basically just US foreign policy at the time. American companies still traded with axis powers, they did throughout the entire war incredibly enough, it was just a lot more expensive for them.

          Anonymous

Nah, it as more malicious. We had the date of the attack at least two weeks in advance. The higher ups refused to tell the men stationed there as ordered. This was so the attack could serve to enrage the public and grant Roosevelt the support he needed to go to war. Pretty fricked up.

          Anonymous

          >but since the US had control of japan's oil supply
The US sold oil to the Japanese. Once Japan signed the Tripartite Pact (allegiance with the Nazis), invaded China and occupied French Indochina the US froze Japan's assets in the US and refused to sell oil to them.
          >Then blocked/ignored all of japan's attempts to communicate
This is just a flat out lie. They did talk but Japan refused the terms, which was to leave the Tripartite Pact and to leave China.
          > forcing japan to attack the closest US target,
Japan weren't forced to invade China and South East Asia, They attacked Pearl Harbor because they wanted to invade SE Asia (for oil and to expand their empire) and didn't want the US to be able to provide an immediate response.

Still, if they had reason to think the US would retaliate against Japan invading SE Asia it makes sense to cripple the only US base that's close enough to stage such a retaliation.

            >For years, talking about running for the presidency has been somewhat of a hobby for Donald Trump. The first time was in 1987, when, instead of buying ad space to promote his new book, he gave speeches hinting at the possibility of a run. In 1999, he suggested to Larry King that Oprah Winfrey would be his first choice for a vice president.

Everyone thinks these kinds of things are proof that 9/11 was a conspiracy planned years in advance that everyone rich was in on, but I think it's actually proof of a paranormal connection of our minds to future events. 9/11 was such a world-changing event that its psychological impact on the collective unconscious reverberated back through time and caused all these weird symbolic "leaks" into culture that we only understand the context for now in hindsight.

I call bullshit. Some of them are a little too on the nose. Wasn’t Neo born on 9-11-01 in the matrix or his license expired on that date or something?

        Anonymous

Imagine you're trying to come up with a random date to put on a fake license prop in a movie. For some reason you feel strongly about the date 9/11/01 so you just go with it and consider it nothing more than some random date that popped in your head. A few years later 9/11 happens and you think, "Huh, that's a weird coincidence..." If you even think back at all to that prop you designed.

I think a big part of it is that the event itself is identified by the date it occurred. We don't call it "Tower Crash Day" or something, we call it 9/11. That otherwise meaningless date is inexorably linked to this world-changing event and burned into everyone's minds, so any of this presentiment that may occur would strongly involve the date as well.

          Anonymous

you're just proving it was a government conspiracy. everyone remembers 9/11 because of the reasons you listed, which is why they decided to stage it on that day.

no one remembers the great self-guided tour, because its date has no similar parallels.

You have shit for brains. It's not coincidence. They do it to frick with you.
There are thousands of examples of straight up masonic symbolism in media which is completely out of place and also predictive programming "coincidences".
There are people who have collected most of them, but nobody cares.
This is their power and why they do it. They can put the evidence in your face to subtly brag about it and the moronic masses will not believe it.
Do you not see the power trip in that?

There is no magical consciounsess time travelling power.
      It's called predictive programming.
Their stupid satanic religion or just pure arrogance forces them to put these subtle hints everywhere. Some of them are in plane sight, there's plenty of masonic imagery in media.
It's a big frick you to the cattle. Look we do it in plain sight and you can't do shit about it.

jk. The freemasons and other groups all share beliefs that essentially tie into ancient religions with Judaism and pre Judaism beliefs being the poster boy for one settled ritual belief system. Things like left hand path and odd numbers are also a major role in their system.
With a heirarchy based club like freemasons, orders are passed down from the top with each level not knowing the entire scope of what they are a part of. There is a concept where supposedly they believe if they hint to the public certain plans such as picrel being a hint about September 11, then they're absolved of any wrongdoing, however that works. So a low level freemason gets word or the idea of putting a particular superstitious numeral pattern or symbol they worship in a major piece of media not knowing the full end idea. The higher levels know what the big picture is and the freemasons and other orders have been planning the ritual for many many years. That's it. I save you years of research. You can dig deeper into specifics but there's way bigger issues involving the freemasons in everyday life. They are essentially behind the issues going on in society right now as they try to wedge communism into our life.

What's particularly striking about this magazine is it's not a visual gag. Simpsons ALWAYS use visual gags when they're showing book covers or signs or store fronts, so it's unusual when they don't. Like this one episode in season 11 had this farm supply shop called "Sneed's feed and seed", with the words underneath reading "Formerly Chuck's" - implying of course that if you follow the rhyming words substituting Sneed for Chuck you end up with "Chuck's Frick and Suck", a very R rated joke for a Simpsons episode but we'll disguised enough that they obviously got it past the censors.

      Anonymous

Can you explain how rationally changing Sneed to Chuck would imply Feed and Seed becomes Frick and Suck? I cannot see how that follows logically. I would surmise that the shop used to be "Chuck's Feed and Seed" as that seems to be the logical implication.
