This, as people get older they get busier so you need to plan shit out ahead of time and make it an event, add something else to the watching experience too like a BBQ, about a month ago I got a bunch of friends to come round for fried chicken and pro wrestling night, people spent most the night sitting in the backyard drinking but whatever it was still fun

When you're young you really don't really think about the socializing part and its easy to just drink and sit infront of a screen. But as people get older they want to actually talk and mingle with others, tell them how their lives are going and vice versa. It sucks but if you just want a classic bro hang the only way now is just playing video games or watching sports. Watching a full length movie requiring everyone's attention isn't going to work in adult setting

Me and my friends watch films through Syncplay. It's a bit different than actually going over to someone's place, sure. However, I really like the fact we can share our opinions on the films, propose our favourite movies and we encourage each other to watch more movies.
