Pic is the script of the first episode of S7 titled The Burger. It follows Gumball and Darwin trying to eat healthier, but every store in town is owned by a character named Mr. Bilderburger. The episode starts as Miss Simian tries to show the damages of eating Joyful Burger.
That's not the first episode of season 7 of gumball
That's a Twitter thread by a literal-who
>he doesn't know
OP is a homosexual
anyway, i love the homosexual modern memes of 'muh avocadoos'
>waaaah why is healthy food so expensive??
>walks past the tomatoes, cucumbers, chickpeas, chicken, beans, broccoli, lettuce-
>ah yes, the most expensive fruit in the store!
Why avocados? Aqua teen made fun of that now Gumball I don't get it?
because moronic young people like em way too much
they're not even bad, they're alright, but they became a huge craze and older folk used to joke about kids buying them so much that it's no wonder they can't afford to save up or pay their bills
which was taken as a huge ABSURDITY "haha dumb boomers" because these people can't into hyperbolic humor until it turned out that it's actually true, they really are paying crazy amounts for them
>until it turned out that it's actually true
Yeah when people first said "well maybe stop buying so much avocado toast" it was said in jest, in the same way as "haha you try and click book" which is also a gag but for some reason younger gens think humor was invented when they were born and thus don't get basic setup jokes.
Then it started coming out that it's not even a joke.
>hey if you wanna save money for something big maybe stop paying crazy amount for something small
>w-wha? b-but? but.. but small thing? no cost much like big thing? how i beez save money for big thing if no buy small thing? i only buy small thing many times? what? money go up if do many times? uhhh *blue screens*
this
this has to be some low IQ nonsense
like i'm not even gonna argue that the housing market america or england isnt unreasonable but surely constantly spending money on needlessly expensive frivolous crap can't help
we used to teach kids this stuff how is the current gen failing to understand it
>ok billy, you wanna buy that superman toy but you get a dollar every week, what do you do?
>i save the dollar and dont buy myself ice cream until i can get it!
>that's right? and what happens if you do keep buying ice cream!
>then i can't get the superman toy!
i literally know girls who drink starbucks every day and then complain they're broke at the end of the month
are you young or just moronic? if the price of a damned avacado tips the scales on you being homeless or not then you are fricked anyway, that's the point.
>Literally making the same mistake that anon is mocking
I don't know where you live but an avocado is nowhere near the most expensive fruit in the store. If anything it's a relatively cheap and filling fruit that you can help you a lot in a pinch when you don't have time to make a full breakfast, as 2 cups of avocado juice is enough to keep you going through the day.
>what are other countries?
are all folk of your generation this moronic?
I liked the part where subway stopped selling guacamole for $1 and started selling "smashed avacado" for $2 instead.
Ah, I see now. Also, judging by this episode's script, not only is it making fun of people with that healthy mindset that you mentioned, but also of those who profit from those types of people. Man this ep feels redpilled for a kids cartoon.
>this ep feels redpilled for a kids cartoon
No it's just stupidly pandering to adults for a kids' cartoon
This is shit adults will be entertained by, not kids, kids will just go "haha funnee cat and fish run around and do crap" and then get bored halfway thru because too much of the humor is focused on shit only millennials will find #relatable
> only millennials will find this #relatable.
I would add gen x and zoomers as well since their also health conscious like millennials. Hell maybe as time goes on iPad kids will also find this #relatable
This is my biggest fear for S7 - instead of exploring world and TAWOG's cast of characters, we will be treated to Ben going through a backlog of 'current year' problems on the backs of Wattersons with everyone else sidelined just because NPCs are going to share it in their tweets.
I don't think this episode is referencing current world problems considering we have health problems since the beginning of mankind the cooperate stuff is kinda of a current issue but its been that way since a while. As well news saying its goanna delve into the Void
It's quite mediocre. Reminds me of them chasing down a super secret burger, only this time in reverse.
Hopefully the remainder of S7 ends up better than this, otherwise the final season of this show will be remembered as the weakest one.
Season 7 is said to be mostly focusing on the Void plot, so hopefully it will. Also what did Midou meant by "the ending is expected" was he meant to said unexpected I'm confused?
Gee I'd have to watch the episode to actually to form an opinion on it, y'know ?
holy shit if this is true they are they are casually dropping redpills, especially at the end with the panda eyes
Its not
Is it the same va for gumball? Kind of surprising after he was filmed yelling slurs and beating up a minecraft youtuber.
There's gonna be new voice actors it was confirmed by the twitter user who was in the Gumball panel where a supposed clip of that ep was showcase
Is it just me or did the buzz following this particular Annecy panel died down faster than the others?
Related thread was far from reaching even a half of the bump limit and it just fizzled out not that long after journos shared what they witnessed and heard: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/144051138
>Is it just me or did the buzz following this particular Annecy panel died down faster than the others?
That's why we should keep making threads and discussed it more instead of complaining and doing nothing about it
Here is the problem: what's there to discuss?
People feared any revolution that could have happened, like a design shift or movie cancellation and these fears were put to rest - only now we are 100% certain that S7 will be just more of the same, with "The Burger" 's sequence serving as a good evidence of that.
Other post-Annecy threads are rife with speculations - whereas TAWOG's Annecy panel does nothing to fuel those.
>only now we are 100% certain that S7 will be just more of the same, with "The Burger" 's sequence serving as a good evidence of that.
Not quite, as if you have read what the journos posted in the archive link, you gave its stated Gumball will be focusing more on the Void then previous seasons. The ep the burger kinda proves this as, OP pic in the final part of the plot mentions "the ending is expected" indicating it could be related to the void as well this pic here. So its not gonna be 100% the same, as well as Ben mentioning the final ep of season 7 being emotional and something for the Gumball fans that will love. Also the movie's has been entirely revised and Ben even mentioned he has a script for this reworked movie, idk what to tell but that's quality speculation of disscusion right there.
>"the ending is expected" indicating it could be related to the void
It might simply mean that the emaciated and famished Gumball, along with Darwin, encounter BilderBURGER and devour him. No need to tie everything into voidplot.
You could be right, but he mentioned as an experienced viewer of Gumball. The ending was "expected" since lets be honest the final ep or scene of s6 was very unexpected, and eps relating to the Void and what not, have very unexpected endings, and as Gumball fans we expect the "unexpect" of Gumball.
I think you know where I am going with this...
>I think you know where I am going with this...
Nope, but you will tell me.
What I'm trying to say is that, what Midou is implying is that we will get something related to what happens with Rob or the Void at the end of the episode of S7 just as what Gumball did before. He also mentioned in
that the writers were purposely vague to avoid sharing other eps as it could hint of more exposure to the Void and what happened with Rob.
But this is all just speculation since nothing has been confirmed yet since the episode isn't even out yet till 2025 lol
>as well as Ben mentioning the final ep of season 7 being emotional and something for the Gumball fans that will love.
That same thing had been officially said about TAWOG's movie for the last few years - not exactly a novelty.
That's because most of the movie's plot or script has been transfered into S7 while the movie is gonna be completely different of what were supposed to get
Perhaps there will be more to discuss once the actual episode comes out. We weren’t really given that much new information to speculate on
Hopefully we get more news along the news also nice art
>~~*Bilderburger*~~
Everytime
>One year from now, after a long, long wait for more Gumball
>Breaking news! TAWOG's 7th and final season had been cancelled after just a single episode!
context?
Hopefully there’s going to be an episode where gumball is breastfed by an older woman.
I wish you shota gays will at least take Gumball a bit seriously instead of making it your own fantasy
Sounds like an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
>Bilderburger
Can you give a qrd? I asked the other anon who said that word but hasn't respond
Nicolas Cantu (one of the later VAs for Gumball) called an Uber driver a bunch of slurs while strung out on amphetamines while he was hanging out with some YouTube influencer guy. Then when he realized he was being filmed by said YouTuber, he started attacking him by calling him a homosexual and a greedy israelite
Good thing Ben doesn't really need to recast Nicolas Cantu as Gumball as his voice is too mature or deep that it doesn't sound like Gumball at all
Post moar cute and funny
Yes sir
My turn 😉
Something a bit dark but still cute and funny
Sauce?
@p4kerson
Do these new episodes take place before or after The Inquisition? It would be a bit weird to have your series end with the world falling apart and then suddenly go back to normal next season.
After the Inquisition, the eps of season 7 will somewhat follow up on what happend to the void
I haven't watched anything gumball-related in a very long time, I think the last episode I ever watched was the one where they suddenly remembered about the cute girl dinosaur background character existing and they find her in a void dimension for forgotten characters (or something like that).
Has the show been the same, gotten worse or gotten better ever since then?
More or less seasons 4, 5, and 6 of Gumball were the same as season 3 in terms of tone, being mostly episodic with a few lore bits here and there of the Void. The difference in season 7 is that it's going to uncover what's in the Void, so this season is more lore-oriented than previous seasons.
Hope this helps
Thanks
>The difference in season 7 is that it's going to uncover what's in the Void
that barely means anything. don't assume it's going to be much different because we have no idea
asking if possible for a more specific release window than "2025-2026"
>we have no idea whats in s7.
Most of my information comes from Midou since he was in the Gumball panel after all and a bit of speculation as well.
I would say it's been the same but a lot of people would disagree with me. Not sure what they'd say but I know they'll disagree. Maybe you should give a random newer episode a shot.
If you had the chance to ask questions in the Q&A period at the Gumball panel what would it be?
Will there be more backstories of the Wattersons?
>more backstories
How much more do you need? There is already a ton of episodes built around this.
Maybe not the Watterson family; maybe other families like Penny or Tobias can have their backstories explored. Or maybe an episode about the teenage lives of Nicole and Richard or how Darwin ended up in the awesome store. A lot of things can be explored.
I'd rather see something like what Carrie was up to in her first century of unlife
Yeah, that would also be cool. Maybe that episode will give her dad Vlad more screentime while at it. I also wish he would come back. He and his daughter, Carrie, are so cute together!
THESE IMBECILES will NEVER be CAPABLE of WRITING a GOOD sitcom episode.
Just look at his fricking face, is that the face of an intellectual? That's a child that looks like he went homeless. That looks like a hippy except one of those douchebag smartass college hippies.
That looks like a fricking toy collector.
I can't tell if this is ragebait or not, or if you're actually serious about the statement you've just made.
Burger
That's right, get used to it for the sake of mr Bilderburger.
Wonder if there will be a Teri focused ep in s7?
I hope so. There was a whole Covid pandemic during hiatus - that surely gave Ben some time to think about her whenever he was forced to wear surgical mask while outside and apply disinfectant wherever he went.
>There was a whole Covid pandemic during hiatus - that surely gave Ben some time to think about her .
At the same time he was thinking ways on how to torture her even more
That's kinda her selling point in case there is little else for her to do.
Maybe she needs some love maybe one of the characters in Gumball could give her that feeling.
But who would need to be included in such a hypothetical official ship? I have no idea.
tobias
He's in love with himself more than others
Rob would be perfect for Teri since their both toutured souls
Gumwin
No doubt Ben would make eps about them in the new season
I'd love to see the gumwin drawgays come back
