It's really hard, to hard a good Roman story, well in the Common Era as you put it. You'd need to focus more on the life of Roman Empire during the Common Era, maybe focusing the shift of Republic to Empire, and life of an average and noble roman citizen.
>maybe focusing the shift of Republic to Empire
Overdone. I'd love to instead see the Crisis of the 3rd Century, or perhaps life in Canaan during the Bar Kokhba revolt, or anything else from the 2nd-5th centuries.
>Establish a preexisting relationship, be it friends or general acquaintances >Let them have good chemistry that doesn’t detract from their individual personalities >Let there be some even that brings them together, even if just a little bit >Let them grow closer overtime as thr story progresses >Make if official with a kiss >Keep them acting the same way they did in the story aside from the occasional date and holding hands/kissing now and again >Don’t ruin the relationship if you do a timeskip
Done.
Have them on opposite sides (hero + villain) and bicker/fight all the time with their own dumb little rivalry/ at each others throats. Have it escalate but also show they're slowly starting to enjoy it and each others company and sorta revel in their spats until they basically realize and quietly accept they're a couople in all but name. Thats my own dumb little 2 cents though, I am in no way a writer or a competent human being.
It’s cute even in a completely nonsexual way. People come up with crazy theories for why people like yuri: >It just gives them a boner >They’re trannies who identify with the girls
But the simple fact is that there’s nothing more pure than love between two girls.

Only in fiction, in reality dyke couples beat the crap out of each other more often than anyone else. My theory is that when one of them is PMS'ing the other one is unable to have the same patience a man would have in the same situation.

That study says they experience abuse at some point in their lives, not that they’re being abused by their girlfriend.
There’s nothing wrong with showing two same-sex characters kiss in the same way as you would show two opposite-sex characters kiss. The only thing wrong with it is that it’s often done for virtue signaling and to pander to yurigays and fujos.
That only happens because most guys think other guys are gross. That’s why most guys skip straight make out focused scenes in pornos, the guy is too distracting.
Two guys kissing isn’t inherently gross, it just tends to happen between gross looking guys a lot of the time. Gynosexuals don’t like seeing masculine men kissing.
Simply don't make it come entirely out of left field like they did with Legend of Korra and Adventure Time. I believe the traditional slow approach is better than just putting the two together from just a heat of the moment kiss, so have some proper build up to it, let at least one of them ask the other one out.
establish literally any kind of character relationship with the persons you intend to have smooch, ideally before the 3rd season of 4.
people still cry that aang and katara was vanilla and safe, but frankly if they did it for the first time today I am so ready to see some absolute trash from the netflix series if all the other live action shitshows of recent years are anything to go by they'd probably bend to the fricking twitter crybabies, or do some shit even dumber than lion turtle handing the ending to you just to "subvert expectations"
if I could point one thing that I totally despise in romance fiction in general is how the main couple always has 0 compatibility regarding their social status, if the target demographic is male the MC will be a nerd loser and his love interest a 10/10 bombshell thirsty for his dick, and when the target demographic is female the MC is a bland becky and her love interest is a chad thunderwiener that also happens to be filthy rich.
Characters should feel like two halves. Give them cute moments, a little bit of bickering but they make up fast, and make it seem like they can't live without each other but without them saying it. Emotional support that works both ways.
Don’t try to write a romance just make them either do things together or have funny moments. Seeing aang and katara get together was something even little kids got because they fought together for 3 seasons. Asami is a literal who.
One where two people love eachother without bullshit drama getting in the way. I get enough of that with my wife, I don't need it in my fiction.
don't have dykes.
Not homosexual shit and it's already at least a 2/10
I don't really care about romance in stories.
you can't. love is an illusion we use to distract ourselves from the fact that we'll all die alone
Leave it out and focus on literally anything else.
Romance is fricking boring.
Go to a convention

Kek. Take a (You).

Have them not have any kind of romantic chemistry throughout the series and then at the last minute have them kiss
To start, just do the exact opposite of TLOK.
thank you, random namegay. very cool.
newbie sighted
Anytime.
Don't allow troons in the writer's room.
>Random
Anon....
>have 2 characters les out in the first episode, never bring it up again, and end the show with a MFM love triangle
i dig it
Draw from your own relationships
I swear the writers were with their fingers itching to show them carpet munching each other but the CCP censorship would never allow it
Write two men then change one into a female.
that's a little gay
HOLY BASED

Lesbians are fine though
yeah, in porn. Actual lesbian romance is a waste of time
>Actual lesbian romance is a waste of time
Why do you think that?
Because nobody cares about lesbians outside of fap fuel.
This anime is the only case I have ever seen that shows a dyke couple like most of them are irl
>pedophilic
>physically abusive
>abused girl has stockholm syndrome
I think their romances can be cute even without them making out
if you think lesbian romance is cute then you're probably autoginephilic and thus a potential troon
It’s cute even in a completely nonsexual way. People come up with crazy theories for why people like yuri:

huh, about that...
That only happens because most guys think other guys are gross. That’s why most guys skip straight make out focused scenes in pornos, the guy is too distracting.
>getting stressed over maggots
>Le article saiz so
Frick off
it's gross if its not lesbians
Two guys kissing isn’t inherently gross, it just tends to happen between gross looking guys a lot of the time. Gynosexuals don’t like seeing masculine men kissing.
two twinks kissing is just as a gross as two hairy truckers kissing.
Proof? They didn’t test for that.
>Proof?
seeing twinks kiss in college
Well I don’t have a problem with it
something tells me that you're a gay, seek help
I’m not gay, I don’t even look at gay porn. That’s partly because the gays don’t make good porn, but still.
Between a man and a woman.
first of all, no homos
Simply don't make it come entirely out of left field like they did with Legend of Korra and Adventure Time. Simple.Don't write one.

remove the literal homosexualry for starters
if I could point one thing that I totally despise in romance fiction in general is how the main couple always has 0 compatibility regarding their social status, if the target demographic is male the MC will be a nerd loser and his love interest a 10/10 bombshell thirsty for his dick, and when the target demographic is female the MC is a bland becky and her love interest is a chad thunderwiener that also happens to be filthy rich.
You don't. There is no "good romance". Love is just a mythologized exaggeration of pragmatic biological instincts.
You have the girl throw herself at guys repeatedly, and then start sucking face with girls at the very end. So pic related, apparently.
Stop pulling last minute bullshit and plan your series out better.
>How do you write a good romance
You don't
>How do you write a good romance
Well , to start , with a man and a woman ....
Have the relationship exist for a significant portion of the series, if not all of it
Will they or won't they shit is fricking boring
Characters should feel like two halves. Give them cute moments, a little bit of bickering but they make up fast, and make it seem like they can't live without each other but without them saying it. Emotional support that works both ways.
Two characters that has never met each other before has an undying love
Don’t try to write a romance just make them either do things together or have funny moments. Seeing aang and katara get together was something even little kids got because they fought together for 3 seasons. Asami is a literal who.
Affection is displayed and reciprocated overtime. Not maybe they like them or not bullshit. Also no lesbians.
I thought Cinemaphile liked lesbians
I do. Cinemaphile doesn't though.
