The director was and us shit.
The director’s movies suck.
Even when an actor in the director’s films gives a decent or wonderful performance, The actors performance is like a beautiful thing, floating in raw sewage.
With the change in the movie industry, were the potential audience no longer sees corrupt critics telling those audience members what films are supposed to be good, those audience members have shaken off the forced opinion that the director makes films that are “good” and those audience members can now look ip the director, and realize the director’s movies are mostly unenjoyable shit.
‘Amsterdam’ cost way the fuck too much money to make, and there was no way the film was going to make back anywhere near what the film cost to make.
The director’s films should cost closer to $5 million to make, or maybe $15 million, given current movie film budget inflation.
Any thing over that is a waste of money.
Margot is a wonderful actress.
She brings a smile to my face, even when the films she is in are not perfect.
