It's definitely because of the creator
It probably also has a fandom though, I didn't care much for it but it's not so terrible that I'd see absolutely no one watching it.
The show isnt bad, but also isnt really good. I remember one Anon describing it as "aggressively mediocre", and that descriptions always stuck with me when people talk about it. Its so fricking lame and generic that it feels like it was made that way on purpose. The jokes are consistently not very funny, but not really bad. Tons of plot points that go nowhere. Several seasons where almost fricking nothing happens.
It's not terrible and honestly kinda comfy. My biggest complaint is that they seem to constantly rethread previous storylines and do this thing where they introduce a new big villain or reveal a previous character as being one, but then after a short arc the cast comes to an agreement with them or renders them harmless.
Also there is character development for both the main cast and side characters, which is nice, but things seem to always revert to the same inert status quo.
The pacing is all over the place.
Stopped after the 2nd when it was clear the crew had no idea what they were doing.
Simpsons and Futurama were both episodic, it's clear they can't do serialized plots.
Must have good ratings. Netflix is pretty ruthless if a show isn't getting them the numbers they want.
Matt groening knows a lot of things about important people in the industry, dirty things, involving secret islands...
Don't forget the spork incident...
what spork incident
I want to know what the frick even is elfos personality
>"trolls are enemies to everyone
>one elf raises his hand
>"yes, yes, except to themselves, sit down annoyo"
funny
Netflix's execs REALLY like Shocko
Matt Groening made one of the most successful animated shows of all fricking time and space. There's no way you wouldn't give him a chance
By making a 6 season deal when they signed the original contract.
Its less baffling when think of it as a three season show that's cut up into two, 10 episode half seasons. So the first half of season 3 is next.
Matt Groening shows aren't allowed to end

Because its much funnier then Futurama and Simpsons
then why does nobody watch it
Netflix knows matt groening shows are successful and are milking his breasts off.

Aggressively mediocre.
Wait that show got 6 season?
Yes. And 1.3 plot resolutions.
they need to fill that lesbian niche somehow

netflix bans the clips of this show in youtube? because I believe I never saw one and youtube always recommend me simpsons and futurama clips
