    >good weather
    >in theory, people go out more
    >realize how fricking insane and disgusting these writers and directors are
    >negative reviews

moron, don't you know that good weather leads to people sleeping outside at night? Nobody is going to watch television, especially streaming, while camping outside in good weather.

Yeah it was the weather. Not the homosexual black doctor

Truthfully it doesn't even matter who plays the doctor at this point, the scripts and the overall direction of the show are so bad that even a likeable lead can't salvage anything.

        This
Writing is so bad, even Capaldi could only make it milquetoast at best

Doctor Who has been on the decline since forever. The premise of
        >Doctor time travels to see something, plot happens along the way
Doesn't work when no matter where the Doctor goes, he finds someone who already knows him to either suck off his dick or piss themselves in terror. The show needs at least a drop of humility, but instead the writing is fanfiction level - and I don't mean that in an 'idiots running the asylum' type way, I mean it has no self awareness.

This is true to an extent
        Capaldi couldn’t even save it
I think they switched to gimmick casting (lady Doctor , black Doctor) since the show was failing anyways and now the crew could blame toxic fandom

Why couldn't they just get better writers?

            Don’t be crazy
It’s easier to blame the fans

I mean it was really warm here which is strange because it shouldn’t be that hot in spring. Everyone was outside enjoying the weather so yeah I could imagine that nobody sat in front of the tv.

Yeah bro everyone was outside at night because of good weather that’s totally what happened it’s not the Black person homosexual cringe at all

I am not an avid Dr. Who watcher, I could count the amount of episodes I've watched on two hands, notably the Pompeii one which I quite liked - but these two episodes were fricking terrible, especially the second one. I realize this is like a kids/family show, but it was really stupid.

The streaming rates are good, they are the equivalent of a teenage boy saying he has a girlfriend from out of town

Wouldn't be much of a stretch that they want to cancel the show because it's a fairly expensive production. BBC knows they killed a popular IP, but they obviously would rather not admit it. So they double down, and then blame the public for being bigoted chuds that wouldn't support the show. They cut the expense AND take what they consider a PR victory.

Any other show would have been cancelled after Jodie, the drop in viewership was pretty bad. I think this guy might be the last doctor, at least for a while. It's only political reasons keeping this going now but the relatively large budget for 2 million viewership BBC prime time will put huge pressure on the show.

    >iPlayer figures are not included
It's obvious that's where all the views have gone. Nice try, chuds.

It's been a few days at this point. Why can't they tell us the iplayer numbers?
