However you want to measure standard of living and prosperity, capitalism improves it. Hundreds of millions of people have been lifted out of poverty in Asia ever since they started embracing capitalist systems. The success of China is directly attributable to it. In South Korea the average height of women has grown 6 inches since their adoption of capitalism.

Economy growth for the sake of economy doesn't do anything. It doesn't affect standard of living at all. Chinks created even more capitalistic regime than US but it didn't changed their nature. It's genetic. Whites have better life because of their high trust society culture and natural need for exploration, discovery and invention.

Capitalism is an economic system. The ideology of those with capital can be any number of things. Same with religion.

A person can get to a certain point in their life economically where the pursuit of money isn't necessarily their guiding purpose in everything they do. A good example is oligarchs owning media companies. News companies have been a loss making exercise for a decade and a half now but the influence you can wield through their ownership can outweigh the financial losses that they incur.

A libertarian can't explain this because they only see investment through the prism of making money.

It's already there. There are already instances of AI dubbing kids animation for export, like for season 2 of the most recent MLP show, and it won't be long before it makes its way to feature films, except for high-profile pictures where the dubbing cast is famous in their own country. Adult fans won't care because they'll watch the original version and kids won't care because they don't know any better (I watched some of it to get an idea, and it's atrocious).

the frick does that have to do with anything? The exchange of goods and services isn't exclusive to capitalism, every system has it including anarcho-communism. Capitalism is best summarized by the private ownership of the means of production which IS exclusive to it.

And unfortunately for AI bros that makes up 90% of their audience. The minimum they have to do is come up with a creative prompt and they can't even do that. Sums it up nicely. Blue Collar jobs went through the brutal automation process starting in the 70s, with factory workers being replaced by robotics domestically and globally by cheap 3rd World labor managed half a world away by people using computers. Yuppie progressives were elated at the outcome since this was happening to racist sexist homophobic chuds. But now, thanks to AI, it's white collar office jobs that will go through the brutal automation process. The kinds of jobs yuppie progressives work. It couldn't be happening to a more deserving group of insufferable c**ts.

AI is just doing what people do, except faster. Lower tier artists were always mechanical and repetitive with their art. Seriously.
Do people not know how animation works? You have sweatshops in Korea of artists repeatedly drawing every single frame for 12 hours a day.

          Good point.

What AI does is remove the vast majority of the labor from art, at the expense of not having 100% of the end result. The only reason artgays would be so upset at this is because AI vastly outcompetes the repetitive/mechanical task in art. Artists ironically out how rote and unartistic they truly are by being mad at this shit

It's the same reason why AI artists never find their audience no matter how much they post. The people whi can stomach AI art won't spend time searching Instagram or DeviantArt for AI images. They'll just go straight to the source and generate it themselves.
