I really wish it had become a thing in the west as well, because it undeniably cuts down on sick days. Instead it seems to have gone the other way because now I see adults coughing and sneezing without even trying to cover their mouth, spewing their filth on everyone else in line at the store or waiting room. I don't care so much about the germs unless I'm at a hospital, it's just so fricking barbaric. Like a whole people regressed into acting like a child with no manners because they've been stuck inside on their own for too long. I'm surprised they don't go around farting loudly everywhere as well.
