I've seen a few eps of Helluva and the old pilot for Hazbin. What's happened in the new pilot/new episodes?

There is no new pilot. the first episode starts off after the pilot which is SOME WHAT canon (yeah try to figure that one out as bits and pieces did and didn't happen supposedly).

I also don't get it. If you just cease to exist I don't see how that's worse than eternal suffering.
If there's "double hell" then how is the overpopulation problem solved there. Or is that hell infinite in space. Then why can't regular hell be infinite in space.

It's really a piece that Vivzie needs to focus on in the heaven episode. if you die as an angel or sinner where the frick do you go? Is there a void where it's just a collective? Where you are not an individual creature or of any kind of sentience/sapience anymore? Give actual dread to the concept instead of just leaving it up to interpretation.

        >It's really a piece that Vivzie needs to focus on in the heaven episode
She wont. Unless Hazbin turns out to he the greatest long con in animation and the reveal its all been building up to a secretly super Christian finale but thats not happening

As someone who hasn't watched the show I'd assume its a spiritual death rather than clinical. Your soul ceases to be and the last remnant of (You) is permanently erased from all existence. Supposedly in Christian mythology God does infact vanquish all the sinner sissies when he decides to get off his infinitely fat ass and establish the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. I forget if this also applies to Lucifer although iirc he gets pit of fire'd.

I headcanon that Viv is secretly a massive Wendy Alec fan.

Hell doesn't seem that bad in HH. Especially when you consider that the the real world in Helluva Boss isn't much different.

Pretty much the only thing that sucks about hell are the other creatures in it, there's a distinct lack of hellscapes

the eternal suffering is permanent death and separation from God

Sinners are ex-humans that are confined to the Pride ring at the top of hell and can't leave. As far as we know they can only be killed permanently by angelic weapons, else they eventually respawn somehow although we don't know how long that process takes.

Lower classes of demons born in hell can evidently die normally, however they are spared from extermination by the exorcists. Not sure about higher ranking demons like the Goetias. I believe this is the basic idea but it's all kind of messy. If I'm wrong please correct me.

What I don't get is where is the big man, Lucifer? He just lets these chump overlords run his kingdom? Did he bail on Hell altogether? You think that would put Heaven in a tizzy, that the chief prisoner got out. So I assume he's still down there, just doing... nothing.

Charlie also seems rather weak for being the daughter of satan.

Lucifer is in the Pride ring and is its direct overlord, but he also controls the other rings through their overlords. As far as I can tell being the descendent of a powerful demon doesn't make their offspring more powerful than other hellborn, which you can see from Stella. It seems as if the way to gain power is to contract souls from sinners but it's getting fuzzy at this point. If sinners are trapped in Pride it makes sense for Lucifer to be among the most powerful of demons because he'd have direct access to them and their souls.

Would've been better if it were like dantes inferno and he's at the bottem ring in a winter wonderland. Dress him up like santa claus too why not.

Technically Satan is a different character in this setting. He's Lucifer the Morningstar, the fallen angel. Satan is somebody else.

If Lucifer doesn't appear in front of everyone of Charlie's friends and doesn't say "Let me please introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and fame." I will mildly upset, bitter, and complain about it on here.

If your killed with an Angelic weapon [or not necessarily a 'weapon' like a spear or sword, i would assume something made out of the same shiny 'alloy' like a bullet fired from a gun would also do the job]
Asides from that it seems to be Wolverine rules and as long as one blood-cell of a sinner is left in existence they kinda just 'respawn' after a while, Once Val 'kills' one of Velvettes models she says something like 'it will take ages for her to pull herself back together'

You know how in Dragonball Z Goku could still die even when dead? Well it's like that

Apparently if you die (for real) in hell you end up in "double hell" aka your soyl gets absorbed into hell itself, explaining the random things with eyes and mouths like the couches in the hotel lobby.

For some stories the void is another hell of its own. Horrors beyond comprehension are there and I suppose devour any souls that head that way or some such.

DragonBall Z explained it as once you die, your soul leaves your physical body and travels to Other World where it might take a shape depending on if you were good or not. In either case, if you "die" again, then your soul simply stops existing, and you vanish forever.

You can die via conventional means
    >Are you a sinner?
You can't die without angelic weapons. Val literally tore one of his prostitutes into shreds and it's implied that she was going to eventually recover
I'm sure there are other ways to kill people in hell but they're obviously well kept secrets.

in It Hurts, a better story, dying in Hell erases you from being AND from ever HAVING been, your friends and family forget you were ever there as if you were deleted from reality, and any hole your absence leaves in the meta narrative is closed up.
