    >Upgrades
Drop the whole spider shtick and make focus on her/they/them/him (frick you) high IQ with the 90s Spider slayer style controlling multiple different robot spider men synchronised with they/them brainwaves.with time give them mechanical legs and throw in the parker luck cruse. With every upgrade comes a hefty price affecting their personality as they/them start to lose sight of what makes them a hero.

    I'll experiment with different takes.

Idc I embraced the clown world. No one has any meaningful massage. Everyone is anyone and anyone is everyone. No consequences or impact can be made on your story so long as I can retcon it to fit my vision. Such is capeshit. Such is spider Man (now)

Honestly it’s less of a clown world than you think. You cut through all the bullshit people say and it turns out things are a lot less common then people say

What do you mean, can you elaborate

Yeah basically I won’t pretend that there isn’t a ton of bs floating around, but it’s way too easy to get caught up in outrage and be blinded to the truth.
A good example is Brie Larson. From what people say about her you’d think she’s a very radical feminist, but if you go back and see what she’s actually been saying it’s honestly pretty tame
When we rally against her we’re usually rallying against a character we made up

                >The fake outrage
Ah so you're one of those. I guess in your book my dissatisfaction is purely irrational and excessive despite the clear disservice plus lord and miller personal view of anyone who isn't on board with poochie

Oh no not at all. What I’m saying is that your dissatisfaction is founded in reality but at the same time it’s not quite as much bullshit as you think it is.
Reality is composed of people and a lot of those people want to make things that they enjoy.

I don’t think Lord and Miller are particularly malicious against Spider-Man fans, but rather they thought a subset of fans were being malicious towards them and retaliated which twisted the movie a bit. To an extent they were right and to an extent they were wrong, but at the end of the day everyone just wants to tell their side of the story.
My personal hope for the future is that people can actually learn to communicate with one another instead of assuming the worst. For example Sun Spider isn’t some agenda thing, she’s the spider persona of a person, a person who wanted to be a hero who was then given to someone who didn’t understand the intent

There's no point arguing with these types. The hatred towards Spider-Man is open and proud, and these people will look you in the eyes and tell you both that it's not happening and that you're a weirdo for caring. They're disingenuous.

Sometimes when the legs are good. The fixation on feet alone is mental illness.

Why are you obsessed with this character?

Every couple years I pick a character that Cinemaphile hates and post about them when I’m bored until we have a satisfying rewrite. Then I move on to the next
It’s less of an obsession and I’ll probably forget this thread exists in half an hour until I check my computer

If that was true. You'd post your own rewrite then frick off but the truth is you're fishing for (you's)

Eh, not really. I don’t care so much about (you)s so much as perspectives. I love seeing different people’s opinions on something so that I can get a better picture of humanity as a whole. If I only cared about (you)s I’d just post a Miles ragebait thread, but I’d rather see some thought put into it

Anyhow, if I had to rewrite her I would present Charlotte as a big fan of Spider-Man who’s been half stalking him ever since he saved her from a basic villain attack/fire. Simple for Peter but life changing for her
During one of the following him events, she gets bitten by another spider that Ock made and ends up with powers though it doesn’t cure her disability. So she tries her hardest to become a hero like Spider-Man, taking up the costume of her spider sona and scavenging old slayer parts to build her chair and crutches. She’s not quite as smart as Peter so she can’t figure out the web shooter design, making web guns mounted in her crutches instead.
Personality wise she’s an optimistic pessimist, thinking that life is overall bad but people can work to make it better

She was disabled but her spider bite made her grow retractable spider legs. Her human legs don't work so she still wears a wheelchair in day to day life but not as a superhero.

She dies in a cautionary tale to other would-be superheroes.

I would make the wheel chair become her legs and the other parts the legs of the spider instead of being in a sit position. Pretty sure paraplegic people would like a fantasy rather than more realistic approach.

Would also make the wheel flatten out into a tank track. So that the wheel could be used as roller skates and shit.
