The only way i could help is by supporting them, being with them in their toughest time. Maybe if he just wasnt' alone, if he had friend who could teach him better jokes, who could help him to find a better job, maybe this wouldn't happen. I had my friend set me up for a job in a company that was lifting heavy industrial equipment. We worked like 2 times a week, but we were getting paid as if we worked whole month and every day. I really was just sitting on my ass watching TV all the time, and still got paid better than 99% of my former classmates. But if it wasn't for my friend, i wouldn't ever get that job. So friends like that are very important.
