Wanda has bit of character hook since she’s always suffering but Captain Marvel is one of the blandest heroes in fiction. The only story arc from her in the comics I even remember is the one where she gets knocked up by an alien rapist and the avengers debate abortion. Hulk is a complex character and cool enough to be actually marketable. The only reason he sucks in the MCU is so they can devalue him enough to have universal sell the rights back

I don't care what anyone says, IM 3 was a fine movie and put a nice (just in case) finality onto the character and they didn't need other characters to ruin it. The only criticism I have of it is I wish they spent more time, like half the movie in Tennessee where you have a Tony Stark who has to evade those extremis bad guys with nothing but sheer will, intelligence and the spirit of Christmas.
Every character does, but I think Hulk is one of the characters who actually enhances a shared universe. Hulk as a fokltale monster on the run from the military is the sort of background detail that enhances a shared superhero setting, and conversely, you can get a lot of mileage both out of stories contrasting the treatment of other heroes with the Hulk, and by directly pitting them against him, putting heroes up against an unstoppable force and providing a chance to show their empathy.

Hulk is a boring character. He's a scientist who gets his powers through a science experiment gone wrong which is cliche as hell and has villains that all just have hulk powers. The only remotely interesting things you can do is have a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde story.
Jekyll and Hyde, Frankenstein, King Kong. There's definitely some potential there but its too late for disney at this point. I thought they did the character justice in the first Avengers movie to be fair
