How moronic do you have to be to believe that AI tech was actually going to stay public and open source? Obviously they just wanted morons to do all the work of inputting shit for AI to learn from for free. Everyone who has ever shilled for AI are hopelessly consoomerbrained cattle who can be lead around by the nose by anybody who desires to take a hold of them.
Of course it will be open source, anyone can develop their own model and make it open source and there are plenty of autists who are passionate about that. It will take time for others to catch up but OpenAI will not remain the gatekeepers of the "secret AI tech" forever, they're just capitalizing right now on the fact that others haven't caught up yet.
Sure, people will be able to catch up to where OpenAI is Right Now, but unless you think there is some kind of ridiculous hurdle they have run into then it's not logical to believe that people will be able to the exponential growth expected.
lmao ironically if CHUDS hadn't misused every other tech before it like Tay.ai, early DALL-E and early character.ai then maybe they wouldn't have put priority in making it closed source and put tons of anti-CHUD filters.
lmao now that AI is going to be limited to big companies and governments I feel so much safer now. Pictures of taylor swift at a football game could have caused the downfall of civilization.
Cheer for AI and get the boot. Its funny how the they think corpos and Hollywood will lose and everybody will be a kino maker. Get ready for the slop, bros and this time at the faster rate.

I hope you're right, especially about the crypto bull run. Crypto is another thing that won't be around in a few years, I want to cash out off the morons who actually think any functional government would allow crypto to come anywhere close to replacing their own currency while there's still a chance to make some easy money. I think the fact that big corporations are starting to invest is a sign that the crypto fad is coming to a close soon. Big corpos will pump the prices way up and then dump it all over night and then some new legislation will be put in place that makes crypto either illegal or a huge hassle to own/use after the corporations and politicians have cashed out after the next bull run.
That is all gonna happen but crypto won't die because It's so easy to manipulate the price so morons will invest life savings while whale will dump on them.
Rinse and repeat.
We've seen the upper-limit of what AI at the level of average individuals' use can really do, and it basically resulted in a gimmick that got old and recognizable pretty fast.
If higher-end AI gets used in actual film productions, that basically won't be any different than how shitty CGI works now.
It always strikes me how different drawings and paintings were before photography and to a lesser extent before the Industrial Revolution. No need to approach realism. It’s no coincidence the naturalist movement coincided with the popularization of photography
I don't know what you're talking about, realism(not the movement) was a thing most painters tried to achieve back in the 1700s and earlier. It was after photography that more abstract movements like impressionism, expressionism, and cubism happened. Being able to make a life-like copy of a Hudson river valley scene was no longer interesting when a photo did the job better. So painting moved to not making everything realistic, but experimenting with style and form.

This is an important thing to bear in mind: most tech dorks are genuinely extremely ignorant, but, in their ignorance, think that their (debatable) expertise in the field of making novelty smartphone apps extends across all fields. You may recall an AI bigwig interviewed recently who said he didn't like any films made before 1995 because they were too slow
AI is useful but unfortunately the cattle will have access and we will have bad taste content like the AI image made by pajeets on social media which is an agression for our eyes. Soln the videos wheb it will be better. But in a way a lot of scam are built around AI,which is good there are a fee to access or make it complicated to run it. Cattle and uncreative should not have access to that.
>AI is garbage and hurts the product you are using it in
People will not like it and things will follow its natural course, then companies will try to avoid AI as much as possible, good end. >AI actually enhances the product
Then that's a good thing, what matters is the product getting better, good end.
It doesn't matter the side you are on arguing about this is dumb.
>AI makes the exact same garbage that we've been seeing for decades now because that's the foundation it was built upon and the only thing it has any chance of mimicking in a way that's even slightly coherent. Also humans can't make money in things that are enjoyable anymore.
The actual outcome that everyone who isn't a stupid techshill can see coming a mile away.
Techshills also deny the very obvious fact that AI shit looks gross and uncanny to people because AI does not process art and drawing the actual way humans process art and drawing and thus always makes shit that feels subconsciously off. When they inevitably try putting shit like this out people will not respond to it, but moronic tech shills are just going to cry and deny this even though we're already seeing it happening.
VR is already successful despite it also being in its infancy. Denying the progress of AI at this point is like religious fringe levels. Its essentially doubling every year now.

NTA but it's the same thing. VR has already peaked. It was a neat little gimmick but nobody I know who has bought a VR headset ended up using it regularly. They used it a handful of times over the course of a month and then it got put on the shelf to collect dust forever. It's a fun little toy for when you have parties and people come over and go "woah let me try!" and then they try it once and say "haha, that was kinda cool, I wish I had one" and then the person who owns the VR headset tells them about how quickly the novelty wears off and then it just becomes an impractical hassle to use and they offer to sell it to their friend for half price and the friend likely says "lol maybe later."

This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say techgays live in their own little bubble with no idea how the regular world works. No sane person is going to get a fricking chip installed in their head so they can see Tesla ads with their eyes closed. Aside from people who are so physically/mentally fricked up from some injury/disease that they're basically dead already, nobody but a few gigaconsoomers and mentally ill transhumanists would be interested in implanting the internet directly into their brain. If VR goggles and google glasses couldn't catch on, BRAIN IMPLANTS certainly won't. YOU people are hopelessly disconnected from reality, which is why you're so desperate to literally plug yourself in to virtual reality instead.

lol. Yep we peaked in tech today. Nothing will improve and get better. It has nothing to do with me. Humans have been obsessed with transhumanism since technology. We have done nothing but move away from humanism and biology.

Tech hasn't peaked, just this generation's versions of these stupid gimmicks have peaked. Every generation since the industrial revolution techtards like you have been spouting how we'll all be strapped to a chair experiencing life through goggles forever or spinning on a hamster wheel or we'll all be human batteries or cyber-robo computer men or whatever other moronic gimmick that only sounds fun for about 5 minutes and then it fades back into obscurity because nobody is actually interested in that aside from complete losers who are desperate to permanently escape reality. We haven't moved away from humanity at all. We have cybernetic limbs right now and absolutely nobody is getting them installed unless they already lost their flesh and blood limbs because nobody in the real world actually wants to be a literal zogbot. Please step away from twitter and talk to real mentally healthy human beings.

AI isnt some vaporware hoverboard that some fringe inventory proposed. The product and result is literally infront of your face. VR is simply too early just like the electric car in the 90s. All of these things will intersect once the tech is there. And People have been moving away from their creature. Face filters and photoshopping your instagram photos is no longer ridiculed, infact you are made fun of if you dont involve yourself in this. Body dysmorphia is at epidemic levels and that is the start of it. You just lack foresight and scream gimmick and you think that translates intelligence. Calling AI a gimmick is literally unhinged in the presence of what actually exists currently and the rate it has been progressing. Its all observable.

>VR is simply too early just like the electric car in the 90s.
The electric car is still too early now btw. Although I do actually think electric cars will become as common as ICE cars once the tech catches up.
>Face filters and photoshopping your instagram photos is no longer ridiculed
Yes it is, just like bogging your face out with surgery is ridiculed, we just don't do it on instagram comment sections anymore because instagram considers absolutely everything to be cyber harassment now so we just ridicule it when we talk to each other in person. Nobody likes being lied to about who they're looking at, that's why face filters will always be disliked, that's why photoshopping will always be disliked, that's why trannies will always be disliked, that's why transhumanism will never be popular. Everything you're saying proves to me that you have 0 interaction with people outside of the internet. In the real world, nobody likes the grotesque and unnatural. You can ban conversation about it on social media comment sections all you want, but it still won't override a normal person's natural instincts. You keep saying I lack foresight when it's you who lacks the ability to see that these exact fads have played out the exact same way every time for decades now. It's not for lack of technology or funding, it's for lack of interest by the public.

looks like you arent arguing that AI is a gimmick anymore because its a stupid hill to die on at this point in history. Sure if you said it a couple years ago youd look a little better. And it sounds like you are isolated. Most women use filters on their social media images. I know male friends who do as well. You keep equating this to what I want rather than what is actually happening. Its observable, my belief is irrelevant.

Most women use filters on their social media to trick a REAL LIFE man into meeting with them. Everything you mentioned in your previous post has to do with women who want to meet REAL men, women who are wholly uninterested in AI (which is another reason AI won't take off, the largest consumer demographic in the world doesn't even give a shit about it). Girls with body dysmorphia have been around forever, they get silicon breasts and fix a flat shot into their ass and then end up on an episode of Botched. None of that translates to VR or AI. All VR and AI are good for on a consumer level (the thing that actually drives funding for most technologies) is subpar entertainment that hinges entirely on novelty, which dissipates about 10 minutes after trying it for the first time for most people. This is exactly why I said EVs will likely stick around, because there is actual public interest, the only thing stopping EVs from taking over the market tomorrow is the fact that we don't have the technology to make it as reliable and convenient as ICE cars in most places in the world outside of a few major cities, it likely will get there in the next few decades though. VR isn't convenient and brain surgery CERTAINLY isn't convenient, especially not for something that would be used as novelty entertainment by the vast majority of people. AI isn't much better, it may have practical uses in specific niches, but it has very little appeal to the broader public as anything more than a novelty. AI generated movies would just be uncanny versions of the same shitty movies we've all already lost interest in because that's going to be the foundation that all AI will be drawing from when it tries to make a movie, it will do its best to observe and mimick the core principals of movies we already hate.

Anon why are you smart enough to realise AI is a meme but dumb enough to fall for the electric car meme?
Fundamentals of electric cars:
1. It takes much longer to refuel than petrol cars, unless
2. You swap a battery in and out, in which case it takes about the same length of time
Much innovation and bulding of infrastructure to achieve the same practical effect: that's why the tech was never pursued, not oil company conspiracies. It's only viable now because people have been memed into thinking petrol is killing mother earth; once the spell breaks Tesla will go bust, millions of nerds will lose their shirts, and electric cars will have to be towed for scrap
Oh but any minute now "the tech" will "catch up"

VR has been around since the 90s and for all that time it has never been more than a small niche market. Speaking of: AI, or at least the LLM’s masquerading as AI, have been around since the 80s and based on theories written in the 60s. The current bubble is only as large as it is because someone got the money to throw NVIDIA’s entire inventory into a million server racks to brute force train a model. We’re seeing the limitations of that technology - there will not be major advances unless new algorithms are discovered

good one. The internet and computers, especially smartphones statistically changed humanity faster and more significantly than anything else ever. That is a matter of fact that isnt deflected by "no u", Sorry. A human is just a biological computer and eventually it WILL be replicated and perfected its just that simple. Deny all you want, call it a gimmick all you want. Its where its going, its the only way to go. The past 60 years have been more in tech progress than hundreds of thousands of years of human history and it will compound many many times over in progress once a superior intelligence is created.

Sort of, but not really. They're continuations/updates/upgrades rather than something novel.
Truly novel technologies only come around every few centuries; but we are in one of those chaotic boom periods. The novel techs that enabled the boom period were the computer, the screen and radio - or more fundamentally electricity. Everything else is just different takes/upgrades on these core novel technologies. Boomers were still interfacing with a device that received signals when they watched TV and the same goes for silent gen huddled around their radios. Things have just improved rather than radically changed.
Transition periods take a long time. We still aren't fully acclimated to any of these things and we haven't found their limits.

But the people (companies) who are going to utilize AI don't necessarily care about all that yet.
AI will take over for the simple reason that it can effectively replace a bunch of drooling techtards who were formerly being paid to mooch abound having 5 coffees and 3 brunches a day while outputting 2 hours worth of work a day.
This should be fairly obvious to everyone but in case it isn't; when Hollywood pretends they hate AI, it's because they don't have sole ownership and exclusive usage of it.
Nooooooo, why?
I want more generic passing the torch from a beloved male character to an unlikeable new female lead with the charisma of a rock, unnecesary sequels and movies telling me that I'm evil because I was born with a dick, please, stop this before we lose these great tropes and stories that filmakers have been using over and over for the ladt ten years
That's the only thing it can be. The amount of resources and data needed to train models is difficult for dissidents to get ahold of.
There are some kinds of 'bad boy' models but they wont be able to achieve much and will be far surpassed by the 'woke' AI.
>The amount of resources and data needed to train models is difficult for dissidents to get ahold of
Not really, all you need on the hardware side is a server farm and data can be bought just about anywhere. Even if were absurdly expensive, there are plenty of chuds in the tech world like Musk and Thiel who would fund such a venture (Musk already has his own AI company).
Woke is literally being lobotomized, just look at fricking Gemini
They fricked around with the parameters so much they had to literally shut it down cause it exclusively generated shitskins.
As time goes on big company AI will be so riddled with logic holes and faulty info that it will seem straight up moronic compared to the Models made by indies.
One of the hallmarks of real intelligence is that you cant completely control it. Parents know this from raising children. Now silicon valley woke liberals are going to have to accept this too.
Silicon Valley liberals can't even tell the difference between fake and real intelligence when hiring people (e.g. browns), no wonder they think AI is real
All humans should be fired from entertainment jobs and replaced by AI. No more having "jobs," now you'll work in a warehouse doing physical labor like all should.

>OpenAI has reportedly scheduled meetings next week with the United Nations, state politicians and world leaders to form partnerships in the world government. They reportedly want to encourage sovereign nations to integrate AI into their government.
tbh this seems to be a frick you to replacement of humanitybros
It specifically says "encourage filmmakers" so the filmmakers won't be replaced maybe none of the crew but what might get done with AI is every tedious task, or prohibitively expensive special effects shot. AI is just to help films get made but not to replace everybody.
Any product using Ai should automatically be rendered public domain. >movie uses Ai for a background
entire film is now free for everyone >book uses Ai to make the cover
sorry now the entire book is public domain
Corporate executives don't know what they're doing and just follow trends. Corporate executive keep touting AI as being able to write higher quality content when the primary benefit of AI is that can mass produce low quality content at dirt cheap prices.
The homosexuals in Hollywood are already producing slop, so AI replacing them doesn't change anything. In fact, we might get higher quality content, since there's only going up.
I think it likely that AI has been writing television for a while now. It was (imo) writing cheap erotic novels more than ten years ago. Remember the stuff that Chuck Tingle was parodying?
I dont see how this helps studios, it will democratize filmmaking to such an extent that a guy in his room could make something that like The Avengers.
This.
The line of thinking stems from modern equitable egalitarianism and money worship where all people are equal and money is an omnipotent God that can do anything. >if only they had the tools of the big budget studios! >then the 80 IQ monkeys could make Barry Lyndon!
Yeah okay, moron.
This isn't to say the studios are doing anything good these days, either. They've fallen for the money meme too and throw insane amounts of money at slop purely in the hopes of a ROI.
The major benefit of "democratizing" something is when the current elite who hold all the power are incompetent; it gives an emerging new elite the tools to overthrow them.
Actual egalitarian democracy is a bed time story for moronic infants.
Indeed. I'd add that the downside of democratising, at any time, is that is fills the world with slop, and a generation of artists raised on slop will be more slop-prone. It takes time for them to unlearn all the slop lessons.
In other words the same problem that will occur with AI, being trained on ever greater amounts of slop
you know that scene in the animatrix where the bots go to the un wearing top hats and lingerie? well the ai generates the bawdtiest lewedst beautiful images without me asking, even seemingly innocent promps. and no it doesn't know me etc.
The only difference AI will make is it'll be somewhat harder to find a white collar job. Instead more people will be forced to lay bricks until they're 60 and then retire with chronic back pain
it's definitely cheaper to hire Pedro for 11.25 an hour than a bricklaying machine that will require regular maintenance from a trained professional and regularly scheduled AI updates on a monthly subscription fee
The entire modern obsession with using robots instead of people is a consequence of the other modern obsession: pretending the robots left over from a previous civilisation are people
They're gonna have to do something if a computer program can do 95% of work, which is a very likely reality in the next 100 years. They need the economy to function, robots moving numbers between bank accounts isn't going to keep the government running
This whole AI thing right now is a huge marketing push. The tech is years old and pointless, but if people can be convinced it's the next big thing then they'll sink billions into it (and get left holding the bag). Case in point: it's OpenAI booking meetings with Hollywood, and not the other way around. Nobody actually wants this shit
>film actors in rough draft >AI does the post work in one go >performance enhancements to the acting are applied based on training data from better actors >profit?
AI is literally a scam. look up how much water this shit consumes. it will not be commercially viable for the US. China also has a water problem so they're not touching that shit. also the more AI is used, the more it becomes a part of it's own reference data, which keeps making it worse, and the reason why big AI CEO's keep getting fired, because it's a problem they can't solve.
AI is the enemy of SOUL. AI is the sloppest slop you can possibly slop. I dont understand the motivation (beyond money/recognition) behind AI shills. It's like they want society to collapse, humanity and SOUL will become extinct.
AI is just CG all over again. Touted as something exciting that will vastly expand the scope of what can be filmed.
In reality, CG has led to soulless green screen movies, and improved editing room software has led to meddling that creates composite scenes that don't feel even vaguely real because they're 80 different cuts spliced together for that perfect take.
I already avoid every movie with CG, I will be avoiding every movie with AI. You can't get a couple of guys together, build a few sets, and make an actual film? Then I don't want to watch what you're making, because you aren't putting any effort in.
seemed like they'd already used it for 20 years.
oddly enough, it featured briefly in my dream this morning. I was rewriting a post to make it deliberately more irritating - the idea being someone had said he hates them when they are hard to read. so I was typing mine out in word, setting the text to a small font, then clicked something else and it turned it all into ascii art of a scene it had generated of a reclining woman surrounded by some other elements in a scene.
was going to save that and upload as a pic related but woke.
i don't even use AI gen stuff in general so don't know why it has infected my dream, nor why word would choose to appear.
my unconscious is corporately owned, imagine what life was like before advertising.
Remember when OpenAI was being billed as public domain/ open source/ creative commons?
Someone will leak it eventually
nobody's taking back the shit I generated
These AI companies are ran by israelites and pajeets. Who would be stupid enough to trust them.
lmao ironically if CHUDS hadn't misused every other tech before it like Tay.ai, early DALL-E and early character.ai then maybe they wouldn't have put priority in making it closed source and put tons of anti-CHUD filters.
>hate speech is not free speech
shove it up your axe wound
lmao now that AI is going to be limited to big companies and governments I feel so much safer now. Pictures of taylor swift at a football game could have caused the downfall of civilization.
/tv/gays really thought they'd get to use AI to make kinos
Cheer for AI and get the boot. Its funny how the they think corpos and Hollywood will lose and everybody will be a kino maker. Get ready for the slop, bros and this time at the faster rate.
>everybody will be a kino maker
They said the same thing about iphones
In the nerd parvenu brain it's unfair that talent gets rewarded, everybody could do it if they had the resources or tech assistance
Ray Kurzweil said this out loud recently
AI is slop technology. No matter who gets it, we all lose.
Video games already outgross Hollywood and they allow for customization. People creating their own customizable stories is already happening and AI will just allow them to do it even better.
>Video games already outgross Hollywood and they allow for customization. People creating their own customizable stories is already happening
fricking where
Stuff like Dreams on PS4 which is just the start. The technology is only going to keep getting better and easier to use.
>fricking where
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_V
>the game broke industry sales records and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history, earning $800 million in its first day and $1 billion in its first three days.
>it is one of the most financially successful entertainment products of all time, with over $8.5 billion in worldwide revenue.
By comparison, the highest grossing film of all time is Avatar with $2.9 billion.
they will if you break into the film industry as a prompt engineer
we don't care
we just don't know nepo babie to have careers in hollywood
too bad the only ones that will have careers after this ARE nepo babies, you think "hard work" gays stand a chance against AI when the option is "AI from literally who" vs. "AI from someone with connections you can sell as name brand"?
yep, it's all ogre for israelitellywood
all we can hope for is for somebody to leak the models and we make kinos ourselves
Meet the new bot. Same as the old bot.
If this hurts anyone that works in Hollywood then I am all for it, simple as.
This. If I can't have my dream then no one else can have it. They can all die in their piss and shit.
>hollywood gets tech that lets them churn out the same soulless garbage they’ve been pumping out but without any of the effort
>this somehow btfos hollywood
It "btfos" 95% of Hollywood, yes. Only the CEOs and a few others will make out fine.
Shit writers getting canned? Frick yes.
ai is a fricking scam that is being shilled just to drive up nvidia stock and the next cryto bullrun
you will not hear about it anymore in a few years
I hope you're right, especially about the crypto bull run.
Rinse and repeat.
lmao calling AI a scam at this point is being actually moronic.
We've seen the upper-limit of what AI at the level of average individuals' use can really do, and it basically resulted in a gimmick that got old and recognizable pretty fast.
If higher-end AI gets used in actual film productions, that basically won't be any different than how shitty CGI works now.
Buddy, eventually Ai will create full length movies entirely on its own. Do you lack foresight here?
2 more weeks
oh, youre a stupid troll. lol. Got it. All evidence points to that exactly happening
who cares? i will never watch them so it doesn't affect me
>cameras are soulless
You may recall an AI bigwig interviewed recently who said he didn't like any films made before 1995 because they were too slow
remember 3D? remember VR? remember NFT?
It would be hilarious that this could be the NFT 2.0. Extreme hype and then nothing.
That's just not true. I've been using Github copilot and chat LLMs for over year in my work. The tech industry is undergoing a rapid shift
What is that to a layman?
Probably nothing if you don't work in information technology. But an anon above said "ai is a scam" which is demonstrably false
For a better world
where are you from, you have an interesting syntax
>cryto bullrun
Should I buy crypto then?
Oh noes who will the producers and directors frick now? A whole ecosystem gone, just like that.
very underrated, both post and digits
open bob
When they inevitably try putting shit like this out people will not respond to it, but moronic tech shills are just going to cry and deny this even though we're already seeing it happening.
imagine criticizing an early immerging technology like it peaked yesterday. Idiot
Don't worry dude, VR and the metaverse are gonna take off any day now too.
VR is already successful despite it also being in its infancy. Denying the progress of AI at this point is like religious fringe levels. Its essentially doubling every year now.
>VR is already successful
Tech geeks really do live in their own little bubble, totally unaware of the real world.
>"dude by 2020 all credit card transactions will be done through the blockchain!"
Amazing people keep falling for this moronic megacorp tech marketing over and over.
you just have mountains of false parallels dont you? Sora should have shut you up but you have a hill to die on.
VR has not peaked though. The next step will be direct interfacing with the brain like seen in the matrix. Nural link also in its infancy. You people have no foresight
>The next step will be direct interfacing with the brain like seen in the matrix. Nural link also in its infancy.
>Most women use filters on their social media images. I know male friends who do as well.
These women and men are the same people btw
>Although I do actually think electric cars will become as common as ICE cars once the tech catches up.
Oh but any minute now "the tech" will "catch up"
Don't forget the environmental strain those batteries cause and how they will burn for 3 weeks straight if they catch fire.
>cannot control
Lmao if there is one thing those troonyhomosexuals hate it is things they cannot control. Unfortunately AI is far too useful and big to ever get banned and the more they try to control their models the more useless they will be.
It is their death and they know it.
>environmental strain those batteries cause
thats not the only issue. as long as electric cars use roads and tires, its not green. trains and trams are the greener answer. unless youre living innawoods/country, you shouldnt drive a car
Electric cars are here to stay because the guint will band ICE cars.
Will they ban ICE trucks and ships and planes? No, because if they did prices would go thru the roof and they'd lose the next election
They'll try to force personal vehicles to be electric for a few more years and then enough global warming boomers will have died and everyone will drop it and pretend it never happened
You sound like a pajeet.
>VR is simply too early
VR has been around since the 90s and for all that time it has never been more than a small niche market. Speaking of: AI, or at least the LLM’s masquerading as AI, have been around since the 80s and based on theories written in the 60s. The current bubble is only as large as it is because someone got the money to throw NVIDIA’s entire inventory into a million server racks to brute force train a model. We’re seeing the limitations of that technology - there will not be major advances unless new algorithms are discovered
>NVIDIA
I keep seeing this mentioned in connection to AI. Please explain? I thought NVIDIA made graphics cards
>the electric car in the 90s
you mean the 1890's?
>And People have been moving away from their creature.
troon detected
anon was right, you people are crazy kerk
People are having less sex than ever
marriage is on its way out
religion is on its way out
child birth in a free fall
nobody goes outside
young people dont congregate in person any longer
everyone looks at a rectamgle all day long and if given a choice, would gladly enter a total immersive virtual escape from our hell
im sorry you dont see this or understand. All these things tend to continue to get worse. What do you think 2060 and beyond will look? By 2100 everything will be completely autonomous and the need for humans will be null. What will everyone do with their spare time then? Be in a virtual world or have left their biology all together
Bold of you to assume civilization isn't just a few years away from collapse and the neo-stone age.
>im sorry you dont see this or understand.
No you're not, you're just posing as magnanimous because you're a homosexual.
What will actually happen is that these trends will reverse within your lifetime. Childless irreligious agoraphobes will not reproduce, and those to whom that lifestyle does not appeal will buck against it every chance they get. Not everybody wishes they didn't exist; those who do will get what they want.
sure you can predict tha historically when technology was basically a flatline. We lived in caves for 100k years. Now there is new novel technology every decade.
Not collapse just extreme change.
>Now there is new novel technology every decade.
No there isn't
>internet
>smartphone
>AI
yes there is lmao. Literally paradigm shifting technology.
invented 1970's
widespread adoption 1990's
invented 1990's
widespread adoption 2000's
>>AI
invented 1990's or 2000's
repackaged 2020's
>every decade
>paradigm shifting
only the internet was paradigm shifting in a good way
smartphones made the world worse by granting constant internet access to the low iq
ai went mostly nowhere, is currently being pumped to relieve suckers of their duckets
there is nowhere in history aside from the industrial revolution have totaly changed human civilization more than those 3 things (AI still pending) and they are 3 decades apart. The denial is insane. Like I dont even know what you mean by this comment.
>Like I dont even know what you mean by this comment.
Of course you don't, you think I said that the internet or smartphones didn't change the world when that's exactly what I said.
But what you said was that new paradigm shifting technologies come along every ten years, and as your examples you gave some things that were decades-old and a thing that hasn't had any impact yet (and is also decades old).
You can't even read, no wonder you think that the software is thinking when it responds to prompts
>it didnt change anything... because it DIDNT
Almost literally putting your fingers in your ears and saying "la la la i'm not listening" at this point
>Now there is new novel technology every decade.
>Not collapse just extreme change.
You know as well as I that the c**ts in power will burn it all down before they lose it.
There has been plenty of hedonistic full unrestricted debauchery periods in several cultures around the world and in every human era, it's just unsustainable on the long term
But that doesn't mean humanity dies out, just that culture
Governement needs to ban any non-analogue technology for the average person for the health of society
That is what they did in Dune and it totally makes sense now. I see it. Herbet was a genius for seeing this in the fricking 60s
>OH MY SCIENCE I AM READY TO FUSE WITH THE METAVERSE
the techgay reveals his final form kek
>sensible people: this particular technology is moronic
>butthurt tech dorks: huh, yeah, i guess all technology is stupid huh chud? we should go back to shitting in rivers, that would be cool yeah?
you cant see 15 minutes infront of you let alone 5 years dumb Black person
You've already forgotten five years ago which is why these memetechs fool you
moron thinks he’s still gonna have things like “a choice”
>not understanding the adoption curve.
The hype died but the tech continues to improve and users increasing.
>When they inevitably try putting shit like this out people will not respond to it
It will be #1 on streaming platforms according to bots and shills
No, you can't see the streaming numbers, that's proprietary
But bots don't pay subscription fees and the shareholders will see that.
Why can't bots pay subscription fees?
Why can't shareholders be bamboozled?
>Techshills
>tech shills
so obvious how hard you try not to use "AI bro" and openly out yourself as some seething lefty artgay while rambling about "muh human mind is le special!".
you are not special, you are a neural network, just like an AI.
I don't like AI either but I'm not in denial about it like you are.
>SLOUGH IT
I will never pay to see a movie that has any AI generated assets.
>I will never pay to see a movie
FTFY
This should be fairly obvious to everyone but in case it isn't; when Hollywood pretends they hate AI, it's because they don't have sole ownership and exclusive usage of it.
Nooooooo, why?
I want more generic passing the torch from a beloved male character to an unlikeable new female lead with the charisma of a rock, unnecesary sequels and movies telling me that I'm evil because I was born with a dick, please, stop this before we lose these great tropes and stories that filmakers have been using over and over for the ladt ten years
>stupid goys if you make art for yourself you won't get shekels for it
These people really have no understanding of human beings.
>Humanitybros…
Yes?
Ah the flashbacks, stumbling around in the dark, losing so many souls...
DLC coming soon.
ah, just what we need, Woke AI slop as well!
So, nothing changes
>OpenAI
>it's not open
>OpenAI
>It's not AI
>reportedly
That's cute
Cinemaphile has reportedly been sold to the black panthers
Oh, how utterly quaint. Another right-wing fever dream to add to the dumpster fire of misinformation. Sold to the Black Panthers? Please, that's about as believable as Donald Trump winning a Nobel Peace Prize. Keep clutching those conspiracy theories close, sweetheart. While you're at it, maybe take a moment to educate yourself on actual reality instead of regurgitating alt-right propaganda like a clueless parrot. But hey, I guess critical thinking isn't exactly your strong suit, huh? Enjoy your echo chamber while the rest of us move forward, leaving you in the dust of your own ignorance.
Not understanding jokes is a sign of autism.
Nice try, jokester
>NEET for half a decade now
AI literally cannot replace me.
Sucks to be a wagie right now
And while you're busy patting yourself on the back for being a professional couch potato, the rest of us "wagies" are out here actually contributing to society and, you know, earning a living and living our lives. Good for you, honestly.
I was much happier and healthier when I was a NEET. Contributing to society is gay.
Quit your whining, you worthless sack of shit. Real men don't sit around like parasites, draining the life out of white society. Get off your lazy ass and do something productive for once in your sorry existence. Contributing to society might be "gay" in your warped little mind, but being a freeloader is a hell of a lot worse.
Typical, spouting off from your mom's basement while sucking on society's teat like the leech you are.
if brains were dynamite, u wouldn't have enough to blow ur nose
You're contributing to a society that hates you and subsidizing my lifestyle as well.
How does it feel to be my little slave?
i'm not happy about the replies my chatbot is giving me to this one. "slave" is throwing it off so i'm not gonna bother posting them.
Good little slave
Make sure you enjoy the weekend. You gotta go back to work on Monday so I can continue enjoying my NEET lifestyle, wagie.
I think I'm gonna go back to freeloading. You can start paying for my NEETbux when Biden raises taxes on your sniveling little worker bee ass.
>contributing to society
And yet society still hates you
LMAO
>OpenAI has reportedly scheduled meetings next week with the United Nations, state politicians and world leaders to form partnerships in the world government. They reportedly want to encourage sovereign nations to integrate AI into their government.
tbh this seems to be a frick you to replacement of humanitybros
It specifically says "encourage filmmakers" so the filmmakers won't be replaced maybe none of the crew but what might get done with AI is every tedious task, or prohibitively expensive special effects shot. AI is just to help films get made but not to replace everybody.
Any product using Ai should automatically be rendered public domain.
>movie uses Ai for a background
entire film is now free for everyone
>book uses Ai to make the cover
sorry now the entire book is public domain
simple as that.
What if the greatest kinos of all times comes out of this? Hard to know how to feel about it.
Nothing about AI is quality, it's the definition of soulless slop.
Nothing about modern hollywood is quality.
I think it likely that AI has been writing television for a while now. It was (imo) writing cheap erotic novels more than ten years ago. Remember the stuff that Chuck Tingle was parodying?
Normies have no idea what's coming with AI.
psyops finna be crazy tho fr fr but the cattle stay eatin grass you know what im sayin?
I dont see how this helps studios, it will democratize filmmaking to such an extent that a guy in his room could make something that like The Avengers.
>iphones, unreal, and final cut pro will democratize filmmaking to such an extent that a guy in his room could make something that like The Avengers.
Frick AI, when are we getting our Monerbots?
who the frick wants a brown robot
The only difference AI will make is it'll be somewhat harder to find a white collar job. Instead more people will be forced to lay bricks until they're 60 and then retire with chronic back pain
>more people will be forced to lay bricks
That's what robots are for, silly.
it's definitely cheaper to hire Pedro for 11.25 an hour than a bricklaying machine that will require regular maintenance from a trained professional and regularly scheduled AI updates on a monthly subscription fee
The entire modern obsession with using robots instead of people is a consequence of the other modern obsession: pretending the robots left over from a previous civilisation are people
Only neets think this. The government isn't going to pay you stay at home and do nothing
They're gonna have to do something if a computer program can do 95% of work, which is a very likely reality in the next 100 years. They need the economy to function, robots moving numbers between bank accounts isn't going to keep the government running
Always have been
Hollyisraelite can have AI movies, as long as I get to have UBI that's enough to live off of comfortably but not luxuriously.
Deal?
Good. Holywood must fall.
ITS OVER FOR BIOCELS. Time to sign the contract like in Animatrix.
Good. Frick leftoid writers.
i haven't watched a film made in the past decade and never will so i don't fricking care
I really want AI slop to be combined with CG slop for the ultimate uncanny slop.
does aikido
What what the purpose of the strike for then?
And all that infighting and eating each other over "scabs" ?
I want to use AI so bad to ask it questions but at the same time don't want to feed it information, what do?
They don't even train off your chat data anymore, but if you're really gonna be a schizo about it you can run models locally too
Thanks!
>film actors in rough draft
>AI does the post work in one go
>performance enhancements to the acting are applied based on training data from better actors
>profit?
AI is literally a scam. look up how much water this shit consumes. it will not be commercially viable for the US. China also has a water problem so they're not touching that shit. also the more AI is used, the more it becomes a part of it's own reference data, which keeps making it worse, and the reason why big AI CEO's keep getting fired, because it's a problem they can't solve.
Can't be any worse than the shit Hollywood has been putting out for years.
I'm opposed to all ai in principle as their first model cashed on millions of artists without paying a single cent
I'm pro AI for that very same reason
I asked how to get a gf, piece of shit software didn't know.
Then I don't want to watch what you're making, because you aren't putting any effort in.
and you will just be the stubborn boomer dinosaur that you make fun of currently that will get ran over. Its just how it works.
seemed like they'd already used it for 20 years.
oddly enough, it featured briefly in my dream this morning.
