Lola is everything that cross-dressing Bugs Bunny aspired to be. Bugs only had a niche effect on people like Robert Crumb:

Space Jam would've been great if they never showed Lola and Bugs in any shots together before eventually revealing at the very end that 'she' actually WAS him changing into drag EXTREMELY fast- so fast the camera couldn't catch it- the entire time. Why? Because every time you see him do the drag gag in the old shorts you already know it's him right away, and having the film's twist be that Bugs eventually got so good at it that he was able to break the fourth wall and convincingly fool the entire audience for an entire feature film's runtime would have been a hilarious punchline.
