i always thought the place looked wierd
are there any stores like this in real life? built in a corner of 2 big buildings with walls surrounding 2 sides of it?

There's a derelict gas station where I live that looks just like this.

Absolutely. In my city we have a car wash like this between two taller buildings. The walls are just bare and not painted like OP though.

als video game loot box voucher stand
the cow jumping over the moon would be a fortnite dancer but broken and not moving because even that is too old now for anyone to care about

actually it's just more streamlined now

this only applies to fast food restaurants, and why wouldn't you want a restaurant looking clean, modern, and newly renovated? if the outside is old and outdated, what do you think the kitchens are like? probably filthy and ancient./

good point, but when I think of a certain pizza hut which once housed an MKII stand next to an Outrun cabinet, I wonder.

I know drug addicts and non-whites are in the kitchen regardless of the building's appearance. Globohomosexual styling isn't going to fool me on that.

You can still modernize without doing the "make it as easy as possible to change signs" structure.

daily reminder that Ratatouille was Pixar's first misstep. Fundamentally weak premise and an unpolished script with boring characters and a lack of real warmth

Seriously what an astounding location and mural he’s painted around it, that is honestly such a beautiful storefront I imagine Al is fricking rich as shit and definitely a good man

It occurs to me, is he actually Al, or is he just some random employee that the toys call Al because they have nothing else to go on? I guess he wouldn't have the novelty license plate if he wasn't the owner. But then he also complains about having to go to work to shoot a commercial or something, if he was the owner he could call the shots.

        Anonymous

Nah he was on the commercial wasn’t he? Like the owner of a car dealership would be? Also has keys. I suppose he could just be an employee but I think he had an office in there too

It is jovial and merry, and can be used sarcastically, to say ‘oh ho ho that’s a good joke you made there buddy‘, dismissive in the sense that I’m laughing just to say you must be kidding

I have heard of grinchs and other similar demons. They don't laugh like "ho ho ho"
Famously, grinchs smiles slowly, and other malicious and evil demons and creatures either don't laugh or they say mwahahahaha or heh heh heh.

Why doesn't Al just sell his property, which is clearly prime urban real estate being wasted on a rinky-dink toy shop?

Because it grows in value every year he has it, he does business on it that pays for its taxes and generates profit, and as an asset it represents owned wealth anyways?

Why was Sid depicted as an evil when he was just a creative kid having fun in his own way?
Worship TOYS and BRANDS and leave them as is, don't be creative, don't make your own things.

    Sid did literally nothing wrong.
