The ubislop bloat killed it for me, the main story itself was decent
I really wanted to experience the cool car combat, but after the first few "dungeons" with the shitty fighting system made me dread having to experience that for 20 or more hours.
It was pretty good. Miller was a complete dick when he said the guys on Avalanche Studios made a bad game, I think the worst part was Miller saying Kojima would make a great Mad Max game, that man is a complete hack and DS was shit
Nothing the game says about dementus contradicts the canon save for one line of lore that says that scrotus killed dementus and the design of dementus chariot, everything else tracks
Okay padding is the wrong word, i meant that the game needed something else than checklist stuff.
The whole game just felt like the same 10 quests over and over, i would have enjoyed something other than stronghold quests.
This game desperately needed better side content and for cars other than the Magnum Opus to actually be useable. There's tons of collectible cars and you're going to be spending 0 minutes on them because you can't take Chumbucket with you and therefore can't do 99.9% of the game with them.
Agreed, you could customize the magnum opus a fair bit but it did little to the handling of the car. Also the nitro boost felt like a rocket boost instead of giving more power to the engine, you could boost straight up a cliff if you wanted to.
One you got used to the combat it got quite easy as well, every bad guy waited his turn nicely.
Still this game has a lot going for it. Really has a nice desert aesthetic to it, a huge open world and driving on the bottom of a dried up seas was a nice tough as well. Finding little fragments and photo's of how it used to be really drove home the post apocalyptic feeling.
Turn off the hud and drive towards the sunset all of a sudden you forget it' s shortcomings
decent game but could have been much better
The ubislop bloat killed it for me, the main story itself was decent
agreed, it's just lazy filling
this is why I stopped playing halfway through, I was enjoying the story but frick, the game itself got too tedious

Miller said it wasn't as great as he was expecting because WB forbid him from helping out the devs.
The canon is very loose when it comes to the game. Scrotus and Chumbucket are canon apparently, but that's about it.
Nothing the game says about dementus contradicts the canon save for one line of lore that says that scrotus killed dementus and the design of dementus chariot, everything else tracks
i didn't like it.
the cars felt slow and sluggish, the hand to hand combat felt like max was a superhuman, it just didn't gel with me at all
It needed some extra padding, maybe a couple towns or something.
>Extra padding
Are you insane? 80% of the game is shit checklist padding. If anything it needed a fricking trim
Okay padding is the wrong word, i meant that the game needed something else than checklist stuff.

>IS better than the two movies

God this, every other car was a piece of shit, no idea why they even had a garage in the first place

Qrd on the backstory?
Little girl in the flashback at the beginning of fury road is the little girl max fails to protect at the end of this game
The best Ghostbusters sequel is a video game
fun game didnt hold my hand, car combat games are kino. Motorstrom needs to go multiplatform and make a new game
it's just an ubisoft checklist game with a decent setting and some good moments
worth it on sale but not that noteworthy of a game t.bh
its always on sale for 5$ so why not? its better than their creed or far cry games they shill every year
>checklist games
The absolute worst kind
Unironically better story than any nuMiller slop and more faithful to the OG trilogy
Cast him.
No midges.
>YOU'RE WRONG LEONIDAS
I had more fun driving around in this game then I've had in any racing game, GTA game or twisted metal game
It's a fun game for the first like 4 hours before you realize that you'll be repeating those 4 hours for the next 40.
Test
>is the best Mad Max game in your path
it's more similar to pic rel, although I agree some of the carmageddon mechanics in a max game would be nice
How was Max's voice in the game?
I didn't like Tom Hardy's Max voice. It sounded weird
well hes actually australian for one
It’s a truly great game
Better than the new movies for sure, even if that isn't saying much
Criminally underrated. Also, has the most satisfying punching of any game ever.
