I don't get the Bob's Burgers jokes in Family Guy.

I don't get the Bob's Burgers jokes in Family Guy. They shit on Bob's Burgers relentlessly but obviously the shows are on the same network and they have the permission to do it, and they even bring in H. Jon Benjamin to do some lines. So why shit on the show, isn't it actually one of Fox's most popular cartoons? Like I'd say it's MacFarlane being bitter or something but again they're on the same network which means Fox gave the greenlight to these jokes. I don't get it.

It wasn’t really too friendly in this episode but usually it is at least.

Both creators/show writers know it's just friendly humor. They're all good with each other. Bob's Burgers making fun of FG wouldnt really fit into the show's comedy, but FG doing it to any other cartoons is on brand, so it fits.

At the end of the Family Guy Star Wars special, somebody mentions Seth MacFarlane. All the characters not voiced by him start shitting on him, while all their characters voiced by him say he’s great.
    It’s a joke, it’s all just a joke.

      Here’s what I’m talking about

      “Seth Green” plays Chris

Seth Green is a walking conflip in terms of entertainment value
With Chris Griffin alone, whether he's agonizing to listen to or truly funny depends on the scene

Doesn't he write his own lines?

Mcfarlane isn't being bitter he isn't family guy he just created it and voices the characters it's the writers who are bitter because it's taken more seriously and had won awards.

It seems like Family Guy, Simpsons, Bobs, and Rick and Morty all get on fine. South Park are the only ones who come across as legitimately salty at other shows.

South Park also looks like complete dogshit visually, especially compared to those other shows. It's like the famous quote, "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. Those who can't do or teach, criticize."

True, then again the Simpsons crew sent flowers to the South Park crew for making fun of family guy. So maybe back then the Simpsons crew didn't like FG at all and somehow buried the hatchet with time

That's literally the opposite of what came about with Cartoon Wars also Seth was pretty fricking salty at it

Which is funny because this was the best retort Family Guy could make against it
