I did while watching it, the last season ruined it.
    >Marty, this is your Mexican drug lord. I need you to *impossible task*
    >Well gosh, I um, well I um, look i'd love to but um, no I can't do that
    >Do it, or I will KILL YOUR WHOLE FAMILY
    >*goes and completes impossible tasks with a 20 minute drive and 2 phone calls*
    >Wendy fricks it all up because girlboss
    >Ruth shows up
    >MAWRDY WHAT THE FRICKIN' FRICKIN' FRICK FRICKIN' FRICK ARE YOO DOOOOIN MAWWWWWRDY

It's funny to see Cinemaphile's take on it since I avoided all spoilers for months

I watched the first episode, maybe the most soulless thing I've ever seen.

lol same. Absolutely terrible acting and plot all over the place. I'd rather watch The Americans second time. Much better show

I liked the significance of the trampoline in major events. I also loved how at the end the entire family had embraced the life. His son going from being afraid of guns to a stone cold killer for his family was pretty kino.

I'm glad they killed Ruth because it gives us a zero sum chance of a spin off about her.
    Last two seasons blew.

When has Netflix ever done spinoffs outside of planned Marvel events?

I finished it on monday, I wasn't expecting that ending. Interesting stuff, in for a penny, in for a pound right? I liked Batemans performance, damn shame they got rid of one of the characters for season 1, I felt he was the most intimidating guy overall, even after the antagonist(s) from season 3 and 4

You talking about the cartel guy? I really liked him too. Kinda expected him to be a Gus kinda guy, I fricking hated the old witch b***h the entire series.

yeah Del, I didn't want to spoil it but the Navarro wasn't that crazy to me. Most likely because Marty was so de-sensitized that the audience was too

Nope. It’s probably the biggest cop out in all of television history. It’s right up there with, “It was all a dream.”

And what cop out are you referring to?

It just felt lazy. It felt like they were heading towards a deserved reckoning and then the writers wanted to make a statement. The son goes against the family the entire series, and gets progressively more upset by their actions, and then what? He decides to join the family and kill a guy? It felt contrived.

I don't think you're using those words right fella. The entire family is breaking bad and it takes a toll on each one of them as it goes against their nature, causing each of them to flip out in some way before embracing the new normal.

The son flipping out and going against the family was a bit cringe while watching it play out but that was him working through the fact that they are all becoming amoral people that only care about making money and saving their own asses. Once he gets over that hump he realizes that living the high life and being loyal to them is better than living a bug's life with his boring grandpa in the middle of nowhere.

That’s fine, if they had conveyed that over the last couple of episodes, with nuance. Instead it happens all at once in the final moments.

They conveyed it over the entire series. You just got filtered is all.

The P.I. Catches them and has evidence, but the youngest son who has raged about their actions for probably two seasons joins in and kills the P.I., but before doing so the P.I. has a monologue about the rich elite that have controlled/control our country. It was lame, and it felt like at came out of nowhere.

The final scene with the PI was the worst part. I get what they were going for: they want to end the series with a thesis statement
        >you don’t get to be the Kochs or the Kennedys or whatever fricking royalty you people think you are. World doesn’t work like that
        >since when?
But it’s just moronic. The guy knows how evil and powerful the Byrds are and he just goes there with no backup and hangs out to gloat about he’s gonna destroy them face to face.

He got his job back on the force and he thought they would fear the law. Keep in mind that he's also a drug addict, meaning sound judgement isn't really his thing.

Not really, it was dragged out in a lot of parts. More like it should've been condensed and end with a bang.
