Yes, they claimed it was only ever meant to be 2 seasons. But the show didn’t really have a proper ending

It was only planned for two seasons and it was never meant to have an 'ending'. It's meant to flesh out the rest of the world to explain other groups. Season 1 was crap but season 2 did its job.

It wasn't meant to end at season 2 and it was garbage.

They announced it would be two seasons like a year before the first season even aired. What a weird thing to b***h about lol

yep, that was it for me. season 2 was too much of a soap opera all of a sudden with them being stuck at that farm. I'm glad I stopped there, this shit is beyond moronic

TWD's last few seasons are the lowest ratings it's ever had, even lower than the premiere season.

The show hasn't been appointment television for close to a decade now, its viewer numbers peaked in 2015

Maggots would've devoured pretty much all the zombies over the years. Insects don't seem to exist in Walking Dead.

      Anonymous

Even better, the zombies are literally walking corpses. They're decaying. Three warm months and the first massive waves of walkers would be too deteriorated to still be a threat and the remaining survivors will have come up with safety measures and procedures to keep newly dead folks from rising.

Wouldn't the maggots turn into zombies.

I think they were originally supposed to do a literal trilogy of movies on Rick and Michonne, but too much time has passed so now it's getting condensed down to one limited series
