I just saw Thor at the kinoplex. It was fun. I liked it more than Ragnarok because of Bale and Nat.

It was basically a Scary Movie parody version of Thor. A complete character assasination of Thor. Most of the jokes fell flat. Bale was the only good part of it and it sucks that they wasted him in such a shitty movie

he's the same Thor from the previous movies, with just more pain and a daughter tho

I mean MCU Thor was never really comics-thor. Maybe kinda in Dark World, but that was antikino.

the problem is that anytime she started to look or did something cute it was immediately undercut by a shitty pun or a moronic joke, so the answer is no.

I like how you left out the lesbian, the gay rock couple, and the black transsexual.

The lesbian was in the previous movies, and she didn't do anything "WOKE" in this except air-kiss one of Zeus's hoes which was hot. The gay rock couple just makes sense - they have no females in their species, plus they don't procreate via sex so it's cute. And what black transsexual ?

        >The lesbian was in the previous movies
        Irrelevant
        >and she didn't do anything "WOKE" in this except air-kiss one of Zeus's hoes
        Which was woke
        >which was hot.
        No, it was woke, coomer.
        >The gay rock couple just makes sense
        No it doesn't.
        >they have no females in their species
That's exactly why it doesn't make sense.
        >plus they don't procreate via sex so it's cute.
        What?
        >And what black transsexual ?
        You know the one.

Except that they had to (re-)retcon him mentioning that he has a mother in Ragnarok.
And no, I don't care about potential "he's adopted" handwaves.

At least Jane didn't end up with a Black person

I liked it too anon. I liked the themes of genuine love throughout; the love between Thor and Jane, Thor and his friends, Thor and the Asgardian kids (by being a good role model for them). Jane was a cute nerd thor. Valkyrie was the most tolerable in this film and it even made me like her a little. Gorr was based for killing false gods and realizing in the end what he truly needed was love (Christ). They went in the right direction with this and it would've been better if they doubled down and made it more heartfelt and cohesive. It wasn't great but enjoyable. Frick spiderman and multiverse of madness nostalgiabait. Thank you for reading my blogpost.

You went in with super low expectations, right? I did with Dr. Strange 2 and kind of liked it. Haven't seen the new Thor yet.

i doubt it because now if Thor wants out of the MCU he has a fresh young daughter who can replace him, Nat was too old to do it anyway and she wanted out

If some huge mainstream flick gets bad scores it's always because it didn't do something extremely woke it was expected to do, for example pairing Thor with the Black person actress or killing Thor and replacing him with a Black person.

It was entertaining, but yeah, not great, it was basically just there. Worst scene was the girl actress not showing one scintilla of sadness when her father was dying at the end.
