How do you get conned into branding yourself and basically being some dumb remorseless zogbot tier thug by working at a fricking dude ranch for some millionaire homosexual
    Christ what a fricking loser

You're a criminal and have nowhere else to go. Or you're an orphan hoping to make your pseudo-dad proud.

So a fricking loser, thanks for clarifying

No, not just a loser. A compete outcast. You can't lose because you're not even invited to play the game. So either take the brand or go to meth and die.

Basically he got knocked out by a person who killed his whole family and disappeared into the ether, everything is going to be pinned on you

Unless of course you agree to work for cattleman

                >Wow bro, in this show like a set of circumstances that are rare in real life happens

Gosh, it's almost like we watch shows to have an experience that isn't our daily life

Ah of course a convenient backstory totally absolving him of all responsibility

iirc his dad killed his mother and brother and he was able to kill his dad. In that situation, even in like the 80s or whenever it was, i'm pretty sure they'd be able to figure out the kid only killed the dad and it being a literal life or death situation. He'd get put in foster care which would suck dick but is it as bad as being put on a ranch for a smarmy hardass millionaire who makes you until an actual criminal? Literally brands you and if you ever try to leave you'll literally get killed or all of your criminal secrets outted (with no way to pin it on him of course)

Yeah bro you're right forensics wouldn't be able to figure out a think and they'd put a 13 year old in prison for life you're right.

Watch a lot of true crime docs or you know read shit on the internet or maybe books about the subjects. Police with forensics frick up all the damn time it's almost solving a crime is practically a crap shoot, maybe you get the actual killer or probably not. And I'm not even talking like 20, 30, 50 or more years ago I mean like five years ago. Cops really don't know shit. So relying on the forensics gods to help you out of a murder charge haha lol good luck with that. Some experts think modern day forensics are making most cases unsolvable not the opposite. CSI ain't realistic ya know?

it's game of thrones for rednecks. The premise sounds okay but the reality is that the characters are somehow conveniently always in some sort of drama situation that could "end it all" but then find a way out and it's not brought up again. The show is supposed to take place in a small town and a large part of land the main family owns, with a ranch, yet somehow there are constant deaths.

It isn't just any old ranch though in the show it's basically a billion dollar ranch international companies want to develop it into a tourist town and build an airport on it

        >there are constant deaths
Yeah basically any video games, film, tv series, books or anime/manga are like this you just have a massive body count and no one gives a frick but that's real life too sometimes so whatever

One thing I forgot to mention is that inbetween the dumb shit there is a storyline about a new ranch hand who has never experienced anything like riding horses or whatever and seeing just normal ranch stuff and this guy learning and appreciating stuff is pretty nice. Some good moments and shots of the beauty of the outdoors and untouched wilderness.

It isn't just any old ranch though in the show it's basically a billion dollar ranch international companies want to develop it into a tourist town and build an airport on it

Yeah I know but that is enough to create realistic, entertaining drama but instead of running with that they have one of the sons driving around the reservation and conveniently coming across exploding buildings and random white vans with kidnapped people in them...
