Leia and Han are both wienery and abrasive and sure of themselves and that's why they initially have conflict and try to outdo each other but it's also why they fall in love and end up together.
Neither of them are ever shown as being clearly right or wrong they just have different opinions and takes on how best to proceed and this plays back and forth between them and is arguably the most human and genuine relationship in all of star wars.
