A big part of the grifter/propaganda problem is now that the world is a smaller place thanks to connectedness of the internet, Asians have access to way more shit than just their neighbors and their own countrymen to con and scam. I said this in a thread earlier but one thing I’ve learned about Asians as a people is that pretty much every Asian culture ever to exist has been ingrained with some sort of variation of the philosophy “if you can lie and cheat and steal, do it as long as you can get away with it.”
There are people like this in every culture and society on the planet but nowhere else is it as widely accepted as being completely normal and even encouraged in the way the average person is raised
