Noah warned people about the flood and they didn't listen to him

Because god wanted them to die also that story is jacked from the Epic of Gilgamesh.

God created those people, he had a right to kill them.

That's the thing. The more people a character kills, the less the audience cares. If their kill count exceeds hundreds it becomes an inconsequential character trait.

Being forced to watch your father kill thousands of people to teach you a lesson is a concept that's difficult to fully comprehend, whereas getting dumped by your gf hits a lot closer to home. That's why so many moids hate Amber with a passion while simultaneously cheering for Omni-Mans redemption.

People treat Amber as a bad and annoying character. At best, you're wasting our time with an insufferable character and at worst you're expecting us to relate to her. Omniman is liked because he's layered and compelling despite how horrible his actions are.

Honestly I expect them to butcher Thragg as an overcorrection. I already think he was butchered when he lost his Emperor status by getting angry watching Nolan getting poon on the moon and starting a fight THAT HE WAS WINNING before going "wow I can't believe you're that other guy's son" conveniently within earshot of every other viltrumite who just went "I guess Nolan's our emperor now!"

Vegeta grew up in a hellish organisation under a heel of a monster doing genocide for fun while feed bulshit about his extinct race that is at once the best and the strongest but allso all died like b***hes. Omniman spent decades on Earth and it still didn't rub on him. Also Vegeta wouldn't do all the sneaky invigilation crap. It's cowardly and unworthy of a saiyan.

        Anonymous

Dude I like Vegeta but he literally slaughtered Namekians and laughed when they didn't get revived, while he later blasted half a stadium. Even if Omni-Man did heinous shit I think Vegeta was worse

          Anonymous

That's how he was raised. In Friezas forces pointless cruelty is the way of life. Omniman is like if Vegeta started slaughtering people after decades living on Earrh when Trunks was already an adult. Also death is way cheaper with dragon balls and it's easier to forgive murderers.

            Anonymous

Vegeta would have been like that even if Frieza didn't enslave the saiyans. Vegeta didn't give a shit about anyone he killed and felt no remorse afterwards, unlike Nolan

        Anonymous

        >Omniman spent decades on Earth and it still didn't rub on him.
His redemption, and the redemption of all viltrumites in the end, is only because earth does rub off on them. Just because Nolan tried to stay in denial about it and stick to the old viltrumite way, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

        Anonymous

It's funny how much comically faster other Viltrumites got influenced by Earthlings. Nolan really was one of their "best" for it to take so long for him to actually change.

Desu, I like that in Invincible it isn't being a stupid fricking edgelord that saves the day. All the evil Invincible Clones, Thragg, and so on are punished for their inability to do good meanwhile Mark is the most noble character in the series and even manages to change his father for the better. Invincible still understands that at the end of the day, silly capeshit optimism can be tempered with realism but that good hearted people can still win in something I really appreciate about those series compared to every other capeshit deconstruction
It's something to hold onto even five hundred years later

      Anonymous

Fine, but I remember feeling Mark's "nobility" taking a reputation hit after he was more than fine giving the dino super genius eco-terrorist who glassed LA a second chance but not even bothering to give Robot a discussion when all he did was kill a small handful of superheroes and Cecil and ultimately the world very much thrived for it.
Shit, didn't Robot end up unfricking the catastrophe event that said dino genius causes as a result of Mark giving him a free pass?

    >Don’t you get it Mark, I fricked this bug and now I understand what it means to not be a complete bastard. I understand humanity now, because I got all up inside that bug’s soft inside, and not because I tore her open with my hands, but by using my magnificent dick. And it thought me that murdering innocent people is bad and wrong, because that alien bug puss is really good and right.

      Anonymous

Unironically yes. Think about it. Making a family on Earth was his mission, while slamming into bug dicky was entirely his choice. He wanted to be a family man again.
He obviously can't go back to Debbie but at least he can make a reconnection with Mark if what Mark said was true.
