When I was like 10 I watched a mockumentary about dragons and believed it

I had the same experience with the dragons as you. Me and my brother tuned in 10 minutes late so we ended up missing the disclaimer that this was fake and when they revealed the dragon body shat our pants and thought it was dead serious for 40 minutes until the end when they go “but what if we really did find a dragon body?” and we were like AWWWWWWWWW frick this.

You'd have to be some kind of mega moron to believe Meglodon still exists. It's up there with the Loch Ness Monster and the Earth being flat.

This wasn’t even from the megalodon one, it was from the “mermaids are real” one. But watch this. It had no right to be this kino.

        >Nazis have a base on the moon
        >Nazis did this Nazis did that
all these history channel type guys do is suck of Nazis but then always insert a disclaimer that they were LE BAD

I didn’t mean it was kino because it was convincing, I just meant that brief segment with the megalodon was better than any Hollywood movie made in the last 10 years.

No lol. The Meg had a better shark eating whale scene.

You didn’t even watch the video I posted you stupid shithead, there’s no whale in it. It’s mermaids and a megalodon.

Are you fricking moronic? The mermaid scout scouts the open waters and witnesses a meg attack the whale while the second meg follows the mermaid scout back.

Ok butthole I fast forwarded through that part to get to the chief mermaid sacrificing himself.

It wasn't the that shit that trolled people. It was the deep sea sub footage they played at the end.

How shallow are they that they have a window that size? The deeper you go, the smaller the windows need to be until you cant have any.

Were mermaids ever considered real or were they always legend?

I just remember the commercial where Seal the singer is on a pier performing Kiss From A Rose and then gets chomped by a Great White.

I’m watching it right now, and I’m not shitting you they blame Nazis for covering up the existence of megalodon AND THEN blamed CLIMATE CHANGE for why megalodon appeared again.

I wish there were more documentary style movies about fictional creatures. imo that's what the Harry Potter Fanatastic Beast films should have been. A David Attenborough nature documentary about dragons and hippogriffs and stuff.

Discovery Channel did a similar mocumentary with mermaids one time. My dad thought it was all real. His mind was blown by the 'evidence' they had on the show. Even after I explained to him it was fake, he still didn't believe me.

Last time I ever talked to my dad he was drunk arguing with me about the megalodon doc. I just tried to tell him it was fake but he didn’t understand and flipped out.

I think my dad was just trying to piss me off so he could have a laugh. He still refuses to accept the scientific fact that squid are mollusks. The man studied marine science he knows damn well I'm right. He's trolling me for lulz.
        >Mermaid show not real, dad.
        >But muh evidence tho
        >Evidence not real, dad
        >No u.

They also did a doc on Dyatlov Pass. The whole thing was a build up to this photo and concluding bigfoot killed all the hikers.

This looks like a guy in a suit clearly. Compare that to the Patterson footage with those long, inhuman ape arms.

But they turned up the spoopy-meter by stating it was the last photo taken by the hikers before they died under unexplained circumstances. OooOOOooo!

It really was. If you get the dvd, it's a crime whoever edited it didn't include the deleted scenes. The movie's only like 86 minutes anyway.

I always found the “trunko” story compelling where two killer whales were fighting a ningen.

Poor Trunko. I always felt bad for him. It's a shame there's so little info about that case.

The whales were killing something big that wasn’t a whale. IIRC there was a grainy photo of trunko’s body washed up days after the attack.

It was probably a big chunk of whale blubber (explains why it was hairy looking and had one long trunk-like piece) but I want to believe.

Other than claiming megalodon exists and some other shit the doc was kind of interesting. Showed some stock footage of a whale body slamming a boat.
