I feel bad for you, you missed the best show of the year because youre a very unhappy person with deep unresolved anger directed towards the wider society as result of feeling rejected
I'd want him more for his brutality, he's still a competent commander, maybe not the best, but he'd put down dissenters and make sure none rose up again.
All you need to do is treat him with some brotherly love and respect, don't alienate him and don't lust after his fricking wife.
according to what? he seems competent if not excellent
his main strength is his cold calculated ruthlessness. miss me with all those epic brave commanders like Connington who don't have the stones or the sense to win
>according to what? he seems competent if not excellent
He defeated the Casterly's and Tarbecks, and he defeated Roose Bolton who was fighting in a delaying action and keeping his men in reserve all the while. And even in those battles his poorly thought out plans like the flank with Tyrion, Gregor, and the Hill Clansmen purposefully routing so he could push the Northmen that break through into the river completely failed. He failed to push across the river and back to the Westerlands to chase Robb. He posts his scouts and does what is expected, but only what is expected. Any special tactical maneuvering he attempts fails. He leads from the rear, a safe but tactically ineffective form of leadership for the period which is slower to issue commands.
He only ever wins due to overwhelming numbers and political maneuvering. If Robb told his most important bannermen his plans Tywin would have been killed with his host on the Goldroad.
>If Robb told his most important bannermen his plans Tywin would have been killed with his host on the Goldroad.
What event do you mean here specifically? What plan?
I dont remember Tywin ever being even close to being in danger, neither from books or tv show, but I read it like 10 years ago

How do you think that turns out during a council meeting?
Daemon just wanted everyone to get along, Brynden knew he couldn't kill Daemon in a fight and was being manipulated by future/greensight/tree raven gods to put down Daemon
Also Daemon was azorahai/rhllors chosen, don't question it
Oh it will get fricked up, but most likely in it's second season more so. HBO wants this to air in between the years HoTD is filming so they are planning probably at least three seasons total. Once they adapt The Hedge Knight and go off of George bullet points again is when it will become pozzed to shit
>hardly the worst crime commited
Right, but is still crime, criston is a kg and alicent is having sex out of wedlock
If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
>If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
agree with this but I also think that he's going along with it because he's putting all the blame and shame on Rhaenyra for seducing him and making him fall to temptation.
>If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
he probably stopped caring a long time ago once he realized the queen wont punish him for it. His honor was gone the night rhaenyra made him break his vow
>If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
agree with this but I also think that he's going along with it because he's putting all the blame and shame on Rhaenyra for seducing him and making him fall to temptation.

>So... do these motherfrickers just not have any guards at all
The only stretch I can say is: splitting the Kingsguard didn't helpand then Criston probably sent the guards away when banging Alicent.
>The Green position is that the senior male descendant of Aegon the Conqueror is the rightful king of Westeros. >Therefore, at the beginning of the Dance, they view the line of succession as the following:
II
Jaehaerys
Maelor
III
II >It is erroneous to say that the Greens lost the Dance. >As evidenced by the fact Rhaenyra is not considered a monarch of Westeros and that succession to the Iron Throne was still decided by Salic Law after her death, the Greens won the war. >While Aegon III, the son of Rhaenyra, succeeded to the Iron Throne, it is through Daemon that his claim derives. >This is not a debate. Greenchads won, Blackcels lost. Cope, seethe, dilate ect
How has nobody countered it yet?
How are his bastard applicable if the entire civil war was fought over the succession in question because of bastards? They're nobodies with no claims.
>The Green position is that the senior male descendant of Aegon the Conqueror is the rightful king of Westeros.
That's the excuse they use, yes. Not their main motivator. >how do you know
Because the first person to suggest rhaenyra as rightful heir WAS MOTHERFRICKING OTTO AND HIS GREY RAT SEX BUDDY
So no. The main reason for the war is house Hightower using the king's kids as pawns to establish themselves as an equal power to the targaryans.
So for show canon do most people think they'll end up keeping Jaehaera alive at the end of all of this to have a reason to cut out more of the mopheads from the succession tree lol?
Why are the characters in these show so poorly established? Even the main characters feel like I don't know them properly, they're not "fully formed." The only characters who feel fully formed are maybe Otto and Corlys. The others are so inconsistent and waver so much. Just one scene with Tywin Lannister was enough to understand exactly what kind of character he is, with characters like Alicent or Criston or Rhaenys it feels like their characterization is enslaved to the bipolar whims of the writers.
Part of it is the time skip nature, part of it really is just bad character writing. Criston and Alicent are damaged by this, but the worst victims may be the Velaryons. They're mindbroken and there's 0 logic to their actions. >we want our bloodline on the throne and we'll do almost anything for it >ok we couldn't get one of our girls to marry the king but the king's daughter, the future queen, will marry our son so that's how we do it >wait a minute none of the children are his, he's gay and she's cuckolding him >it looks like she also had him killed, wtf? >looks like her bastard children will inherit our house and our bloodline will be in shambles >"uhhhh history doesn't remember blood it remembers names" (let's completely forget we were okay with the idea of Laenor's child using the Targaryen name on the throne a minute ago) >let the mother of the bastards behead an important member of our family because he spoke the truth >ok a war is starting, who do we side with? well the woman who most likely had two of our family members killed, of course! let's marry our only remaining granddaughters to her
It is shit writing by shit writers.
D&D did better with the story where they had something to work with, this show is looking to become a cluster frick like everything else because of muh diversity in all aspects of it.
Shame really. I doubt I will watch the rest because I wont miss anything worth watching. 2 years they had, $500 million dollars to spend, and that sad ass writing and story telling is the best they could do? It really is shit now.
Nta
battlefield maybe, but strategy overall he’s the best choice. He’ll end the fight before a battle even starts. But if a fight does break out, then randyll tarly
Criston in the show feels like someone on the writing team had a seething vendetta against the book character, and gradually just demolished him more and more as the show went on. I don't get it, he's not good in combat, he's not pious, he's not loyal to his vows, he's not the Kingmaker. He's just the designated hatred outlet for the audience, there's no Criston Cole.
Conversely, she's been toning don the tranniness a LOT in the promo interviews for the season. She actually looks like a woman, albeit slightly tomboyish. It's a huge improvement from the horror show of how she used to dress and style herself.
She is shooting herself in the foot with that. Cause either you are a troony in woman drag and cannot be taken seriously on screen, or you are a woman larping as a troony and cannot be taken seriously in real life
So... do these motherfrickers just not have any guards at all (while literally at civil war with enemy capable of airdropping at any point if they wanted to using a dragon) in the palace or something?
Hows dumb&dumber assassin capable of just walking around, grab literally the queen and theres noone in the shout distance? What was even the plan there anyway if they ran into someone who wasnt a maid while walking around with a fricking torch like morons?
Why wouldnt you just use a crossbow if youre gonna assassinate someone anyway? This entire moronic plan completely depended on 1) sneaking in, finding just the right person in unknown location 2) them somehow being able to 2v1 him in melee combat before help arrives (and they know the guy is a good fighter)
I fricking hate shit like this when everyone in the tv show is just utterly incompetent and dumb, and the entire plot depends on them doing really stupid things but somehow stars align and it works out
>So... do these motherfrickers just not have any guards at all
The only stretch I can say is: splitting the Kingsguard didn't helpand then Criston probably sent the guards away when banging Alicent.
Since they are disguise as rat catchers they are walking around with a torch while everyone in the castle is still awake and moving around, rat catchers wouldn't sneak around at 2am without a torch. They don't have to be completely undetected and they can just walk back out if they don't find a target. I don't know how they expected to kill anyone though.
>Since they are disguise as rat catchers
On the main floor yes, but upstairs the guy even literally says theyre not supposed to be there, and torch attracts attention
He says he doesn't personally know the way around because another group of rat catchers work upstairs. That means their premise for being there is sound, but the problem is that the staff probably know who all the verified royal-level rat catchers are, which is why the one serving woman got the frick out of there when she saw Blood. She knew he was lying.
setting was always riddled with this >tyrion just freed, no guards around >tyrion just strolls through the palace and murders shae, no guards around >tyrion just enters tywins living quarters and kills him in the bathroom, no guards around >varys gets his "birds" to kill kevan, no guards around for the regent of the realm
>if there's one episode of HOTD that wouldn't result in Black worship it's definitely gotta be Blood & Cheese, let's take a look at the audience's main takeaway after that happ--
oh
I didn't mean I expected people would start hating Rhaenyra, just that if there's even a single HOTD episode that would actually make people sympathize with the Greens at least briefly surely it would the Blood & Cheese episode. But nothing's changed. Social media would make you think the highlight of the episode is Rhaenyra hugging Jace.
a kid getting killed is horrific in concept but at the end of the day that kid barely had any screen time or lines and was barely more than a plot device. cant sympathize when you dont actually feel the loss, as opposed to the death of luke who granted was not the most developed character but at least he developed.
whats more, rhaenyras pain is much more relatable due to her being a pretty normal and central character, as opposed to helaena being an autistic background character and having a very odd vibe even when theres assassins killing her kid. i assume any sympathy will come from seeing how the rest of the greens react in episode 2, because helaena doesnt inspire sympathy, only curiosity
>more ancient than targs >castle so old the foundations predate valyria >hoard ancient magic knowledge for themselves >control the kingdoms trough maesters >religious center of westeros >cool as frick castle >cool banner >cool color >layton hightower is building a mech to fight an eldrich apocalypse
Whats not to like
Dont think they lose once in the grand scheme of things
Closest you could say is the dance, but the result of the war was that they basically became the strongest house because the dragons are gone.
>scheme to get their daughter queen >scheme to get hightowers on the throne via her kids >fail, cause the throne to crumble >keep scheming >control houses via maesters >lords and ladies start to notice >at the end house hightower will get their just desserts

The Hightowers come from an ancient branch of man that predates the First Men and Andals arriving in Westeros.
Some Hightowers are said to have dabbled in alchemy and necromancy. Members of House Hightower thus far described tend to have silver or golden hair.
They rule from the tallest structure in the Seven Kingdoms, even higher than the seven-hundred-foot Wall, and it is the tallest tower in the known world, a labrynthine fortress of fused black stone in a manner similar to Valyrian dragonroads but thousands of years older.
And they dominate the center of knowledge and learning in the world, an ancient city with the Citadel like the Library of Alexandria.
The Targaryens were nobodies who coasted on having a monopoly on dragons, then went down the drain after a few generations when they lost those. Honestly the Hightowers are a more impressive lot.

If you go by the way Gurm writes prophecies, its either going to backfire hard on euron or nothing will happen
The whole deal in ASOIAF is that prophecies are a double edge sword, if they even come true
Euron might be the big bad scary monster but Lord Layton Hightower is also known to have locked himself away studying ancient scrolls of magics from all around the world
My money is on nothing happening after all the buildup

It'll definitely backfire, Euron believes in himself far too much, his hubris in thinking that he is above gods and is a god himself will be his undoing.
However their confrontation at Oldtown will probably have dire ramifications for the world. Maybe what transpires there with ritual sacrifices and blood magic rituals will usher in the Long Night, or something catastrophic.

Not really, even then they don't have the numbers to take Oldtown let along actually threaten the Reach.
I imagine that it will work but in a way that will destroy Euron.
Say he summons a god or an evil being, said being will probably torture the frick out of him and break his mind for daring to think he's on their level, or just from even messing with powers beyond his comprehension. Euron is playing with death, and he's not going to win.

>What are your favourite houses, regardless of faction?
North >Karstark or Manderly
Riverlands >Mallister
Vale >Corbray
West >Reyne/Crakehall
Reach >Rowan or Osgrey
Stormlands >Penrose or the Marcher Houses
Dorne >Dayne.
>a bloodline as old as the Starks and Lannisters stretching back to the Age of Heroes, but unbroken unlike the Lords Paramount >always absurdly wealthy, as rich or richer than the Lannisters, Tyrells, and Velaryons depending on the era >founded the Order of Maesters >control the largest and wealthiest city on the continent >can raise as many or more knights and men-at-arms as any single House paramount >avoided the Field of Fire >deeply connected to the Faith of the Seven >possess their own small fleet >have many lesser houses sworn to them
Here's another interesting one, what are the most magical houses of every Kingdom? >North
The Crannogmen probably have Children blood.
The Starks might have White Walker blood.
The Umbers might have Giant blood.
The Boltons might be vampires.
The Skagosi might have unicorns and a secret dragon. >The Iron Islands
The Farwynds have skinchanger genes. >The Riverlands
The Blackwoods have skinchanger genes. >The Westerlands
The Baneforts were apparently necromancers, their Age of Heroes figure was "The Hooded Man" and they were led by a "Hooded King." >The Vale
The Sistermen used to worship a Storm God.
The Upcliffs of Witch Isle were apparently Witches. Their Age of Heroes figure was Ursula Upcliff, the bride of the Merling King. >The Crownlands
All the Clawmen might have mermen blood. >The Stormlands
Baratheon (through the Argilac line) married the daughter of the Storm God or something. >The Reach
The Hightowers are from the Great Empire of the Dawn and still dabble in magic. >Dorne
The Daynes are from the Great Empire of the Dawn and ended of the Long Night and brought about the dawn with their magic sword, Dawn.
>The Skagosi might have unicorns and a secret dragon.
you have no idea how badly I want baby rickon to show up in Winds warging into The Cannibal leading an army of wildlife into the great war for the north
So the guard doesn't like the Hightowers. What's that got to do with killing Aemond? It's implied Daemon is hiring the rat catcher to do the killing. Yet when they're in the castle he says his job is just to find him... Then they come up with 'a son for a son'...
>So the guard doesn't like the Hightowers. What's that got to do with killing Aemond?
Daemon still holds a lot of respect in the gold cloaks, they loved him as commander, Blood was someone he knew was loyal enough and up to kill Almonds. >It's implied Daemon is hiring the rat catcher to do the killing. Yet when they're in the castle he says his job is just to find him
He starts to get cold feet and tries to cut and run before getting pushed back into it. >Then they come up with 'a son for a son'...
Daemon told them to do it if they don't find Aemond
>Daemon still holds a lot of respect in the gold cloaks, they loved him as commander
It's implied he only knows about the guard because of the worm, and the guard is only interested because he hates the Hightowers.
>So the guard doesn't like the Hightowers. What's that got to do with killing Aemond?
The show takes every opportunity to shit on the greens and a part of that is to make a clear distinction between true Targaryens (Blacks) and fake impostor Targaryens (greens). HBO's marketing team calls them all Hightowers including Aegon and Aemond, keeps the green dragonriding to a minimum while heavily emphasizing Black dragonriding even if it takes inventing new show only OC scenes, the Blacks banner in the show is just the main Targaryen sigil, etc.

It adds a bunch of provinces to Yi'ti, as well as a few events (when you become Emperor you can choose one of a bunch of bloodlines which dictate your focus and style of rule, eunach stewards, divine rule, defense against the not-Mongols, etc.) You can also take on a sort of Yi'tish dynastic name ala Obsidian Emperor, Bloodstone Emperor, Moonstone Emperor, etc. There are a ton of choices, including Dragon Emperor for your Daemon Migration campaign.
Then the Far East mod addes the Grey Wastes with a pass into Carcosa which MB adds.

Also whichever of those maps that is supposed to add Giants, I think AGOT Far East (which also adds the Grey Wastes) is partially broken and the Giant province is also unowned.
Overall it works pretty well though.

I don't get why people say Aegon was being communist. He just says smith will need to work their ass off to make weapons for the war so investing into them is a valid idea.
So during the last petition with the smith, why does Otto begin to approach Aegon but quickly changes his mind once Aegon insists the war effort hinges on the efforts of the workers? >1 - Otto can tell by Aegon's tone that this particular decision is not up for discussion >2 - Otto concedes that Aegon might have a point in this particular case >3 - Otto thinks steering Aegon in public so often could make him look weak
Is it 1 2 or 3? or a combination?

He defeated the Casterly's and Tarbecks, and he defeated Roose Bolton who was fighting in a delaying action and keeping his men in reserve all the while. And even in those battles his poorly thought out plans like the flank with Tyrion, Gregor, and the Hill Clansmen purposefully routing so he could push the Northmen that break through into the river completely failed. He only ever wins due to overwhelming numbers and political maneuvering. If Robb told his most important bannermen his plans Tywin would have been killed with his host on the Goldroad.

Also Daemon was azorahai/rhllors chosen, don't question it
None of this makes sense
yeah it does
Anyone have the template?
Fate had them meet as enemies, but War would make them brothers.
RIP my sweet Prince.
New pic of the spin off " Knight of the Seven Kingdoms!!! "
Damn this shit is coming soon
Glidus is gonna have to get off his ass
Thanks shill
I just read The Hedge Knight for the first time last night. Kino incoming, hopefully
>fricked up GOT
>fricked up HOTD
what makes you think it will be good
unironically the best asoif property because it is actually 3 internally coherent stories without cliffhangers.
they choose a lot of actors already
Here's Aerion Targaryen
Where do they mine for these amorphous dudes
Can you explain to me what amorphous means to you and why ambiguous wouldn’t have been a better choice?
synagogues in Britain.
3 established stories that are actual stories and not in-universe historical readings.
meant for
Oh it will get fricked up, but most likely in it's second season more so. HBO wants this to air in between the years HoTD is filming so they are planning probably at least three seasons total. Once they adapt The Hedge Knight and go off of George bullet points again is when it will become pozzed to shit
So was GOT even pre season 6. and look how that turned out
All this shit is just literal capeshit for the cattle. Just stick to what fat ass has written
When's this set? I'm a bit of a game of thrones normie.
Why aren't they just doing a young ned and Robert show or something.
89 years before GoT
Isn’t Egg the old dude in the Watch
That's Aemon, Egg's older brother.
Oh right
No, egg is his little brother
Hollywood will never get enough of rag-wearing peasants covered in dirt
>hardly the worst crime commited
Right, but is still crime, criston is a kg and alicent is having sex out of wedlock
If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
>If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
agree with this but I also think that he's going along with it because he's putting all the blame and shame on Rhaenyra for seducing him and making him fall to temptation.
Which is a little b***h move too
>If criston was actually worried about honor he would kill himself.
he probably stopped caring a long time ago once he realized the queen wont punish him for it. His honor was gone the night rhaenyra made him break his vow

>The Green position is that the senior male descendant of Aegon the Conqueror is the rightful king of Westeros.
>Therefore, at the beginning of the Dance, they view the line of succession as the following:
II
Jaehaerys
Maelor
III
II
>It is erroneous to say that the Greens lost the Dance.
Won the war of ideals, lost the war for the throne
>Won the war of ideals
>caused the targ house to fall into an unrecoverable death spiral
Greens are based for this alone
the greens line was exterminated by the blacks
They didn't go far enough, House Hightower still stands, and they deserve death.
Aemond had a trueborn son, and Aegon II had two acknowledged bastards, so their line continues
How are his bastard applicable if the entire civil war was fought over the succession in question because of bastards? They're nobodies with no claims.
Applicable to what? Just pointing out their line wasn't exterminated. Besides, bastards have become lords and kings before.
It's actually strange how GRRM has such a weird view towards bastardy in feudal society that doesn't really mirror anything historically.
So no. The main reason for the war is house Hightower using the king's kids as pawns to establish themselves as an equal power to the targaryans.
why didn't viserys name aegon the prince of dragonstone then
That’s just saying they won the war, not that Viserys didn’t name Rhaenyra heir
>it is through Daemon that his claim derives
It isn't.
So for show canon do most people think they'll end up keeping Jaehaera alive at the end of all of this to have a reason to cut out more of the mopheads from the succession tree lol?
Aemond did nothing wrong.
>impregnates this absolute hag of a witch and ruins his gene pool
>
imagine if they cast a young lookalike of melisandre. The big reveal as she turns around and has the amulet on

Exactly
here's your baelor (breakspear) targaryen
About to play some Bannerlord RoT, which House should I serve???
a man chooses
a dog serves
If only, the ADOD is still in development.
They're mindbroken and there's 0 logic to their actions.
>we want our bloodline on the throne and we'll do almost anything for it
>ok we couldn't get one of our girls to marry the king but the king's daughter, the future queen, will marry our son so that's how we do it
>wait a minute none of the children are his, he's gay and she's cuckolding him
>it looks like she also had him killed, wtf?
>looks like her bastard children will inherit our house and our bloodline will be in shambles
>"uhhhh history doesn't remember blood it remembers names" (let's completely forget we were okay with the idea of Laenor's child using the Targaryen name on the throne a minute ago)
>let the mother of the bastards behead an important member of our family because he spoke the truth
>ok a war is starting, who do we side with? well the woman who most likely had two of our family members killed, of course! let's marry our only remaining granddaughters to her
It is written in a very shallow manner
It is shit writing by shit writers.
D&D did better with the story where they had something to work with, this show is looking to become a cluster frick like everything else because of muh diversity in all aspects of it.
Shame really. I doubt I will watch the rest because I wont miss anything worth watching. 2 years they had, $500 million dollars to spend, and that sad ass writing and story telling is the best they could do? It really is shit now.
Fricking fail! You didn't even tag the thread correctly with hotd you motherfricker!

You forgot Aenys, who really did, unironically, do nothing wrong.
He’s how Stannis would’ve been in GOT if they had no dialogue to pull for him
>he's not loyal to his vows
that's the entire point of his character since conception
>makes the oathbreaker a shitskin
what did they mean by this?
I also think that the actor is just really not good in this role, he is too bland and looks modern
He’s too sexy.
looks like a rat with a double chin

Her tranniness really started to show, can’t take her serious anymore
Conversely, she's been toning don the tranniness a LOT in the promo interviews for the season. She actually looks like a woman, albeit slightly tomboyish. It's a huge improvement from the horror show of how she used to dress and style herself.
I just see a troony now especially how she forces that pronoun shit
especially how THEY force that pronoun shit*
She is shooting herself in the foot with that. Cause either you are a troony in woman drag and cannot be taken seriously on screen, or you are a woman larping as a troony and cannot be taken seriously in real life

EP1 SPOILERS
So... do these motherfrickers just not have any guards at all (while literally at civil war with enemy capable of airdropping at any point if they wanted to using a dragon) in the palace or something?
Hows dumb&dumber assassin capable of just walking around, grab literally the queen and theres noone in the shout distance? What was even the plan there anyway if they ran into someone who wasnt a maid while walking around with a fricking torch like morons?
Why wouldnt you just use a crossbow if youre gonna assassinate someone anyway? This entire moronic plan completely depended on 1) sneaking in, finding just the right person in unknown location 2) them somehow being able to 2v1 him in melee combat before help arrives (and they know the guy is a good fighter)
I fricking hate shit like this when everyone in the tv show is just utterly incompetent and dumb, and the entire plot depends on them doing really stupid things but somehow stars align and it works out
Aegon would have liked the Yi-Ti prostitutes. Much more than being a king.
>So... do these motherfrickers just not have any guards at all
The only stretch I can say is: splitting the Kingsguard didn't helpand then Criston probably sent the guards away when banging Alicent.
Aight youre right, i somehow missed the differnt rat catcher part due to the weird bong dialect and accent.
Point still stands that the entire plan was incredibly moronic and speculative
setting was always riddled with this
>tyrion just freed, no guards around
>tyrion just strolls through the palace and murders shae, no guards around
>tyrion just enters tywins living quarters and kills him in the bathroom, no guards around
>varys gets his "birds" to kill kevan, no guards around for the regent of the realm
The whole "which one is the boy" farce had my eyes rolling into the back of my skull.
aagghh...
>Sunset found Stannis, squatting by a tree
>if there's one episode of HOTD that wouldn't result in Black worship it's definitely gotta be Blood & Cheese, let's take a look at the audience's main takeaway after that happ--
oh
Well all they did was have Rhaenyra be emotional about her dead son. I don't know how you expect anyone to hate her specifically.
>I don't know how you expect anyone to hate her specifically
Autistic people don't understand grief, just either happiness or anger.
You don’t know shit about autism
Anyone else burned out on arguing Greens vs Blacks?
What are your favourite houses, regardless of faction?
What are the most pious houses?
House Dayne for the favorite. They've got something neat going on with their proto-valyrian blood, and Dawn is cool as frick.
Hightower, obviously. Florent was pretty pious before the R'holla conversion.
They aren't proto-Valayrian. It's more likely they're of the same blood the Hightowers came from that pre-dated the First Men.
Vale = Redfort
Reach = Peake
Dorne = Dayne
Luv me hightowers
The frick did I just read?
>more ancient than targs
>castle so old the foundations predate valyria
>hoard ancient magic knowledge for themselves
>control the kingdoms trough maesters
>religious center of westeros
>cool as frick castle
>cool banner
>cool color
>layton hightower is building a mech to fight an eldrich apocalypse
Whats not to like
>Whats not to like
The fact that even with all that, all they manage to do is lose.
Lose what?
>scheme to get their daughter queen
>scheme to get hightowers on the throne via her kids
>fail, cause the throne to crumble
>keep scheming
>control houses via maesters
>lords and ladies start to notice
>at the end house hightower will get their just desserts
All house lowtower does is frick up the bag.
So 1 loss in thousands of years and 1 cope on your count
This is just house lowshed cope.
Your post? Yeah, it is lmao.
Lowshed supporters on suicide watch
Projecting higher than the Wall lmao
Sinking lower than moat cailin.
>Why do the lowsheds cause so much seething
Because no one likes snake fricks.
>Moat Cailin
>at sea level
you've already sunk lower than the bowels of Casterly Rock kek
ease off the seething and talk about houses you like
Where are your dragons targshit
Who sits on the throne targshit
They still don't rule the Seven Kingdoms kek
Neither do the Targs, who are extinct now.
Not trough the throne
But trough pen, paper and raven
Maesters read and write the messages
Hightowers control what knowledge and histories the lords and ladies learn
to be honest they're about to get fricked by a fleet of fish frickers and Euron is going to sacrifice them to the kraken so the future of the Hightowers isn't looking so good.
Euron is fricked, it won't work. This shit never seems to work.
Even if he just summons a kraken which fricks up everyone's fleet, that would still leave the Reach knocked out of the greater conflict while they get reaved and raped
Not really, even then they don't have the numbers to take Oldtown let along actually threaten the Reach.
>I imagine that it will work but in a way that will destroy Euron.
Probably this.
I imagine that it will work but in a way that will destroy Euron.
Say he summons a god or an evil being, said being will probably torture the frick out of him and break his mind for daring to think he's on their level, or just from even messing with powers beyond his comprehension. Euron is playing with death, and he's not going to win.
My favourite bit is the mental gymnastics that homosexuals have over the maesters and the Hightowers.
Either the maester conspiracy is true, in which case the Hightowers are running things and so they ARE successful.
Or it's not true and the gays are just schizos too lmao
Glad to see some ascended anons in here
>the union of the two towers (the Citadel and the Hightower) see Targaryen exceptionalism and dracocracy as a threat to Westerosi (i.e. Andal) culture
>devise a Xanatos gambit with Ser Otto Hightower as the operator in the field
>manage to infiltrate the Red Keep at all levels
>Viserys (the mad man!) actually ends up marrying Alicent and having children
>things are set up for the Dance
>either the Green Targaryens will win and usher in a monarchy rooted in Andal values, or House Targaryen will be gutted and the threat of dracocracy effectively ended
Damn... no matter how things end up, the towers win...
and ladies start to notice
One lady, who is considered crazy. Why do the Hightowers cause so much seething?
Dont think they lose once in the grand scheme of things
Closest you could say is the dance, but the result of the war was that they basically became the strongest house because the dragons are gone.
>What are your favourite houses, regardless of faction?

Riverlands

Stormlands

>control the largest and wealthiest city on the continent
>can raise as many or more knights and men-at-arms as any single House paramount
>avoided the Field of Fire
>deeply connected to the Faith of the Seven
>possess their own small fleet
>have many lesser houses sworn to them
probably the Hightowers for both
Here's another interesting one, what are the most magical houses of every Kingdom?
The Baneforts were apparently necromancers, their Age of Heroes figure was "The Hooded Man" and they were led by a "Hooded King."
>The Vale
The Manderlys most likely have the mark, and Wyman is most likely a deep one hybrid.
>The Skagosi might have unicorns and a secret dragon.
you have no idea how badly I want baby rickon to show up in Winds warging into The Cannibal leading an army of wildlife into the great war for the north
Imagine how cool Rickon would’ve been with the five year gap.
“its all a story, and youre but one part in it… you know what you must do.”
Helaena talking to Aegon?
Blood & Cheese felt like it was part-comedy.
why them kill da baby boy and kick the doggy
da monies
I kinda liked them being a bumbling comedic duo. It could have been done much better of course but it could have been worse as well.
That's a good point.
Kinda sucks they aren't using Rhaenyra's banner, it's awesome.
That said, to be honest I sort my Green Targaryen pics in my Reach folder and Blacks in my Targaryen folder.
>Kinda sucks they aren't using Rhaenyra's banner, it's awesome.
Fricking why. Why all these stupid changes?
Cause your average viewer will look at it and go
>It's that Targaryen Sigil! and a bird. and a seahorse. Cool!
meant for
>It's awesome
>is actually ugly as shit
I bet you think the pride flag is cool looking too, especially with the brown.
>the Blacks banner in the show is just the main Targaryen sigil
i thought you were exaggerating but it's real
lmao it really never stops
why are the twitter roasties siding with them?
Brazilians and blacks despise Helaena and her kids.
Someone fill me in, in S1 that gimp had someone go to the white worms home and kill her. Why is she now alive?
The gimp is playing both sides, he's a CHAOSH type of man, he just wants to watch the realm burn.
So no he didn't kill her.
she showed him her feet in exchange for her life
sossh u weeant to see moi fweeet misour
FEET are what climb the ladder of chaos
he really is just Cinemaphile - the character
I frankly dont remember that part, so perhaps the writers also kinda forgot
Or maybe she ran away and thats why shes on the ship
Her place was burned down but she evidently survived and fled
greenbros...... how did we get smoked by two commoners and a dog.......
bran warged into them
No one should be king
It's crazy how homosexual Batman used to look back in the 60's
Which is ironic because behind the scenes Adam West went to so many orgies and banged so many actresses.
I bet he asked prostitutes if they wanted to see the tapestries
Something like that...
>“So I immediately went into the Batman character, and Frank went into the Riddler character, because we were getting the big giggles. It was so funny to us, what we walked into. And we were kicked out. We were expelled from the orgy” West said.
They should have kept these two. The current two look like bloated old bags.
I don't get this scene, why would he mocks his wife like that
vid where
Usually takes him 6-8 days, bud.
Watch the stream he usually just does a recap of that, I play it in the background

Waiting on some map fixes to do another Thenn game (where I steal Royce's Bronze armor, find their runed Valyrian Steel sword, and pick up the Reyne genetic bloodline for Kissed by Fire hair.) Waiting for a mod to get fixed which adds a province for the Giants. Also want to do a Codd campaign but likewise need a mod that modifiers the provinces in the Iron Isles to get fixed.
What should I do now?
Reclaim your ancestral Reach lands as House Manderly, wipe out the bloodline of Garth the Gardener, and displace the Tyrells as rulers of the Reach.
But... Literally every house in the Reach is descended from Garth the Gardener.
As in the CK2 bloodline.
With my submods literally everyone in the Reach is descended from Garth
Enjoy your cease and desist letter.
Get to killing then.
Praise Garth
Post mod list pls
>Base mod
>AGOT Codd (Says it's required for another map mod but doesn't actually work, province is unowned)
>AGOT Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things (CO + Faces)
>AGOT Far East
>AGOT Hornwood
>AGOT Isle of Faces
>AGOT Knights of the Sword Tower
>AGOT Mixed Ethnicities
>AGOT More Bloodlines
>AGOT More Provinces + Compatch
>Bigger Interface for Game of Thrones
>Yi Ti Expanded
what does Yi Ti look like in the mod? post some screenshots
Thanks
no problem
Don't pretend to be me you c**t
Overall it works pretty well though.
>wipe out the bloodline of Garth the Gardener
that's most of the houses of the Reach, it's a founding myth that culturally binds them (including the Manderlys)
The Manderlys were exiled by the Gardeners (and Peakes). They need to have their revenge.
They're better off now.
You should fricking have a nice day and stop spamming your shit games here
alt-shift-x posted yet?
Are you good at controlling your impulses Cinemaphile? Wish I had a grandpa like to give me good advice.
imagine being a greengay, that faction is a mixture of drumpf supporters and communists who love their commie king Aegon of the people.
I don't get why people say Aegon was being communist. He just says smith will need to work their ass off to make weapons for the war so investing into them is a valid idea.
I knew that she was an evil woman.
But I did not know that she was THAT EVIL
So during the last petition with the smith, why does Otto begin to approach Aegon but quickly changes his mind once Aegon insists the war effort hinges on the efforts of the workers?
>1 - Otto can tell by Aegon's tone that this particular decision is not up for discussion
>2 - Otto concedes that Aegon might have a point in this particular case
>3 - Otto thinks steering Aegon in public so often could make him look weak
Is it 1 2 or 3? or a combination?
He doesn't change his mind, Aegon is saying it to Otto before he gets a chance to voice his concern and he backs off
He can hear that Aegon isn't going to accept a challenge on this issue and pushing his luck on an unpredictable drunk isn't the smartest idea.

Why do women still hate this character?
why are the armor designs always so fricking gay?
I'm gonna be honest with you anon at this point Criston has been so ruthlessly butchered, if he's your favorite character you're probably a bit nuts.
Why do you sound disappointed?
I still don't care about the Dance of the Dragons

is there a single ASOIAF youtuber who isnt a rabid bl*cksimp?
i watched the episode with a group of friends and all the women covered their ears and looked away when the prince got killed
sup with that?
are any of them attractive
idk but would
surely they understand the sounds are manufactured and no child was truly killed
Usually people are immersed when watching shows so when shit like that happens, you're not thinking about the cool SFX and what their doing to make the sound. You're thinking about how it's the sound of a child's head getting severed.
Unless one is an autist, of course.
lmao get bent moron
>get bent
holy shit you really are a twitter homosexual
u mad bro xD
no problem
some people don't like the sound of a head being sawed off. Bit worse when it's a child's head.
>lose, the greens do
