Lmao /toon/ and Cinder with the Haiti logic
I mean, didnt the huntsman try to kill her or turn her in? Of course shes going to be pissed at the betrayal. As for the misanthropy thing the backstory does not explain it at all
Rhodes saw the Cinder had killed a ton of people and wanted to turn her in, not kill her. He even beat her and broke her aura and still just went to check on her, hence why his dumb ass got shanked when he got close.

Average weight of an adult woman=170.6 pounds.
Cinder killed one grown woman and two children/teenagers.
Even if we highball it and use the average grown woman weight for all three, by the time Rhodes got there, Cinder only killed 511.8 pounds of people, roughly twenty five percent of a non-metric ton.
Also, they tormented and tortured her for years. Bitches had it coming.

That would be mostly fixed if most hunters worked directly for the Kingdoms in squads. It would make sense that some would go freelance after graduation.

The problem with Faunus is we never actually see any discrimination. All the schools have Faunus students and faculty who are treated the same as everyone else, and our only exposure to the White Fang is that they’re fucking nutjob evil terrorists. Blake says “well maybe we were tired of being pushed around.” Bitch, you grew up rich in better conditions than 99% of the planet, and your people live in peace in a tropical paradise.
>They never should've added the racial elements to the story if they didn't want to actually write it
I feel like there was a ton of stuff in the story they didn’t want to add but had to. Either from the fans yelling, or higher-up demands from the company, or Monty throwing stuff in himself.
>tropical paradise
They do say that the island is actually kind of shit, being mostly made up of uninhabitable and very dangerous desert. But then again they didn't actually show that because RT is incompetent.
They can suck to live in but you can definitely transform them into reasonable or nice places to live. The difference between a livable tropical place in Asia or say Hawaii and the African jungle hellhole is the people who live there.
>Bitch, you grew up rich in better conditions than 99% of the planet, and your people live in peace in a tropical paradise.
No. Blake's father didn't become the leader of Menagerie until after the change in White Fang leadership. Before that, he was on the ground doing White Fang things with his family, and living as normal faunus. This includes Blake. Plus, she left at some ambiguous age to shack up with Adam Taurus in the woods and to do a terrorism. Terrorism doesn't pay well, even when you extort the money and diversify into banditry. Ergo, Blake didn't 'grow up' in better conditions than most of the world.
Also, Menagerie is overcrowded as fuck and two-thirds of it are desert. More inferno than paridisio, if you catch my drift.
The writers are just purely incompetent. They never should've added the racial elements to the story if they didn't want to actually write it.
Why the fuck did they have Blake be rich? How does that make sense or help or character?
Why is Weiss barely prejudiced at all? Wouldn't it be much better if she had to grow out of some actual racism?
>They never should've added the racial elements to the story if they didn't want to actually write it

Hey, diversifying your services, so long as they correlate with your skill set, is a good thing. That's just basic business sense. What, are the super-powered soul-shielded steel-slingers going to take up pottery or some shit?
>What, are the super-powered soul-shielded steel-slingers going to take up pottery or some shit?

Imagine how many criminals and organizations were born for not having control over the hunters.
>Why couldn't she leave with the Hunter?
Because Rhodes was a smooth brained cop and Atlas is a land of rigid authoritarianism; you do what your boss says. Does it screw you or the innocent over? Who cares?
worst hotel in atlas >show up after clearing out a grimm pack >Matron acts haughty and high class like she isn't some nouveu riche trollop who married up >No faunus allowed sign, the callgirl twins I picked up at the mines I cleared out cant come in >they kept me from banging twins wihhth the biggest tits I've ever seen >had to buy them a room at a separate dust miner hotel >weapon maintenance stations outdated to hell, not worth the price >only staff is a child with a shock collar who gets shocked by the matrons twin brats >twins that weren't for sale either > room service delayed because they shocked her while carrying my order 5 separate times >couldn't fuck any of them >had to cut my losses, left before they shocked her around a cracked dust vial and killed everyone >when I left the bangable twins I brought where almost assaulted by an angry mob >Had fly to a cabin by a train station and offer fighting lessons to some guys kids for a single bed >same brand as the hotel, it broke before we where done

on the faunus twins, they where foxes, not cats. It was an atlas faunus mining town, so pretty shitty debt servitude, grimm cults form, no safety equipment and big packs of grimm. their parents able to get an insurance policy that kept them from being mine serfs, but couldn't get them transport once they died, so they where placed in lower payed above ground maintanance and watch duty in the worst placed watchtowers I've ever seen.
The towns populace and equipment where relocated after the mine wasn't profitable enough to deal with regulations and they weren't allowed onboard transport since they weren't debtors and old enough to not qualify for orphan resettlement like the other orphans.

If the evil stepmother wanted a slave for the hotel, why did she go all the way to a shady Mistral orphanage? Why not just go downstairs to Mantle and pick up some faunus?
Paperwork, mostly. The thing about human trafficking is that you can't just grab any homeless kid from the streets. Sure, the culture around you may not ask questions, but having a paper trail of forgery helps when someone inevitably does. do Kali and Ghira count as being the same type of Faunus? Cause I hear people call Ghira a panther, rather than a cat like Kali and Blake, a lot. But if that was the case then it's actually fairly unlikely that Blake is his daughter, with the way Faunus inheritence works.
Wait, is this how faun reproduction works? How the hell are they not endangered? at least more than half of the species of fauns must have become extinct.
>if two faunus of the same type breed, the child will be a faunus of that type; so cat faunus + cat faunus = cat faunus >if a human and a faunus interbreed, the child has a 50/50 shot of either being human, or a faunus of the same type as their parent >if two faunus of different types interbreed then the child will be a faunus of a random type

It’s just funny how they gave her this sad backstory to make you feel sympathetic for her, but it comes too late as she’s been completely unrepentantly evil this entire series and even straight up executed Pyrrha.

Speaking of faunus, the "only one animal trait allowed" rule is extremely stupid and should never have been a thing. Blake would look a lot better with a tail as well.
RvB was popular and a guy with passion for weeb battle waifus who worked there asked to make it, and got his adhd addled normie friends who barely understood anime to write it. It declined with them, gradually at first, hidden for a while, than all at once.
It's actually a good show with enjoyable action, drama, and interesting plot points? The world building is cool too.
Also, the characters are good. Yes, even Ironwood.
the show is good that's how and i have to tell you just because some gays on twitter and the same rwby hate video gets made over and over dont mean everybody hates it
I just cant think of anyway to save the writing besides a hard reboot. Like other shows with bad writing can be changed for the better if you tweak this and remove that, but i genuinely cant see anyway to fix this poorly thought-out dumpster fire. Has any of you succeeded where I failed and came up with ways to salvage this show?
>say it again Yang >really, why? >just do it >...Faunus were made by the God of Light to serve as cheap labor and sexual comfort to their rightful human masters >gods it sounds hot when you say it
>I'm glad you like it because I invited some friends from when I lived in patch. >y-yang they are adults. >yeah, they are dad's friends, they "took care of me" when I was a little girl >l-little girl? >a very little girl. >yang, I don't... >you know, there aren't many girls in patch let alone faun girls, they are very excited that you have volunteered. >I... >after all, you're just a faun and you were created to be a sex toy for humans. >Yang pushes Blake towards the group. >enjoy her all you want guys.
Her backstory never made sense. Why couldn't she leave with the Hunter? Is slavery legal in Atlas?
Why didn't Rhodes just kick that woman's ass? Aren't Huntsman supposed to protect people.
Also, was that Atlas? I thought it was Mistral.
>Also, was that Atlas? I thought it was Mistral.

Yeah, Salem is a lot more sympathetic than Cinder. Especially depending on how much of Salem is actually left after jumping in the grimm goop.

How did RWBY become so popular? The animation is crap, the story and characters are just a cheap distillation of decades-old anime tropes.
RvB was popular and a guy with passion for weeb battle waifus who worked there asked to make it, and got his adhd addled normie friends who barely understood anime to write it. It declined with them, gradually at first, hidden for a while, than all at once.
>gradually at first, hidden for a while, than all at once.
BOW CHIKA BOW WOW!!!

It's actually a good show with enjoyable action, drama, and interesting plot points? The world building is cool too.
Also, the characters are good. Yes, even Ironwood.
the show is good that's how and i have to tell you just because some gays on twitter and the same rwby hate video gets made over and over dont mean everybody hates it
Wait, where's the shock collar?
i wonder who is behind this thread
There's a handful of Emerald grooming fanfictions too.
There's several e-boi Cinder grooming fanfics if you don't hate Jaune.
And if you do hate Jaune, you can always make your own!
Did the next season start yet
I need something trashier then my own fukcing life to look forward to every week
No, but it starts on the 18th of February.
A reboot would be good. Fixing and ironing out the mistakes from the first and delivering it to the second
Why?
why?
Faunus were made by god to serve as cheap labor and sexual comfort to their rightful human masters.
>say it again Yang
>really, why?
>just do it
>...Faunus were made by the God of Light to serve as cheap labor and sexual comfort to their rightful human masters
>gods it sounds hot when you say it
>I'm glad you like it because I invited some friends from when I lived in patch.
>y-yang they are adults.
>yeah, they are dad's friends, they "took care of me" when I was a little girl
>l-little girl?
>a very little girl.
>yang, I don't...
>you know, there aren't many girls in patch let alone faun girls, they are very excited that you have volunteered.
>I...
>after all, you're just a faun and you were created to be a sex toy for humans.
>Yang pushes Blake towards the group.
>enjoy her all you want guys.
