I work customer service and it's fricking based now nobody wants to act up lest they want to look like a Karen. I find it hilarious. I mean, I don't give a frick how rude you are, but they preemptively will say they don't want to be rude or act like one. The only people who do from time to time are old as frick boomers.

Black women don’t give a frick. They were always the real Karens.

This. Black women are so fricking awful to deal with. They're truly the bottom of the barrel.

The show already had a Karen right there named Sheila. nu-Matt and Trey don't even know their own show.

Where id Kyle's mom even go? It's not South Park anymore, it's Randy Park.

Is South Park getting worse or am I just too old for this? Did they actually subvert my expectations by just running the same the same tired gags over and over? I kept waiting for them to actually play out differently but no, 12 scenes of celebrities not wanting to drink urine, OK, I get, we get it. I figured that Cartman's mom would actually end up getting the fake breasts in the end since they set her up to be a predictable straight man character. Since the rich guy was killed and they needed the saline, they could have tied it into the hotdog shtick by having one tit filled with ketchup and the other with mustard. That's the type of joke I'd expect from South Park though... so they subverted them. But her remaining relatable and boring isn't funny.

Highly agree. I think it's gotta be the internet on top of burnout. I can't think of any other possible explanation. They're always had different writers, men, women, gays, morons, never mattered. They've always shown something political and then their apathy toward how stupid extremely political people are. Now it's all dumb social politics shit that's impossible to escape from, fewer focus on all the citizens of South Park (Randy seems like more of a main character than the kids at this point), and just general lethargy. Matt and Trey obviously want the show to die.

I don't disagree but matt and trey just singed a deal for like 5 more seasons and 3 more movies or something like that so it's not going to die soon

              Anonymous

I'd sign too if that's been my main success for decades. Why stop the money flow now? They're not gonna quit or stop signing contracts, they're just gonna do a shitty job until the ratings die enough that the contracts stop coming. Eventually they'll be asked to give any and all rights to Paramount and be replaced with new writers and voice actors. It's a smart, albeit tiring move. They probably throw up every time they see the studio when driving to work.

                >be replaced with new writers and voice actors.
Won’t happen. South Park’s only appeal is that it is the Trey Parker and Matt Stone show. It dies with them.

In today's media climate? Absolutely not. Paramount will go the way of Disney and ruin everything for the dosh.

I doubt it. The media climate has been like this for a while, and they still do almost all the voices and at least claim to write/direct it all.

I'm annoyed how they've made some movies be movies while others are considered parts of a season. Like the post covid movies are technically part of season 24 but streaming wars are both movies. Makes shit irritating to catalogue.

It's actually funny that they had a "Karen" decades ago but it's just a normal israeli woman so they can't use her now

They already had her be from Jersey, another episode tackling a years old meme

Karen is such a forced anti White slur. Nobody in retail would ever take a Shaniqua over a White woman with mild standards

I just kind of stopped watching. Don't hate the show or anything, I just don't care about seeing any of the new stuff. After playing the games, that was pretty much it for me. Didn't feel like I needed anymore South Park in my life.

The Karen meme did more harm than good. Now smarmy homosexuals everywhere think they can get away with being c**ts because if anyone gets annoyed and confronts them they can just take a 15 second video of the interaction and post it on social media like
    >LOL GUYS CHECK OUT THIS KAREN

Christ this is sad. I thought the show was going to get good again best Post Covid was genuinely good. This episode (and part 1 as well) sucked monkey balls.

Why are these Black folk so outdated with their stuff now? Wasn't a big point of having shit easy animation that they would be able to react to stuff at a rate other shows can't?

Can't wait for the gangam style parody from them next season lmao

This perfectly encapsulates why South Park is dead. Randy being a "Karen" could have at best been a 6/10 plotline maybe 4 years ago? But now? Just cringe
