It would be the death of western animation. We'd have to pray for another Dreamworks 2.0 and by some miracle that new studio would light a fire for animation, like what happened with Shrek in the early 2000s

They're not merging, WBD is selling off some of its assets to Universal.

But Comcast isn't really in a good position to buy what WBD wants to sell them.

Not if Comcast gets a shit load of money from Disney.

One of the things worth mentioning is that Warner could not secure Henry Cavil, who is now lined up with the MCU for the next few years.

So Superman lost of a lot of value there. They have to recast him, and it's not going to go over too well with the DCEU fans.

You gays were claiming he was going to be at that Disney expo and he wasn’t. Recent rumors have him showing up in Black Adam for a post credit scene.

If nothing else, at least the WB library would be under somebody who has an actual interest in using it for content and not write-offs to fund reality shows and CNN's lurch to the right.

Probably more bad to mediocre cartoons and movies

Ah, so the usual animated film.

      Fair enough.

I could see Zalav selling their animation/CN/AS division. While licensing out their DC properties to other studios.

Honestly making CN/WBA a division of Dreamworks would probably be the best decision as far as they're concerned.

Wouldn't anti-trust laws shoot this one down like they SHOULD HAVE the Disney/Fox merger?

Fox was already falling behind to just a few films per year before Disney bought them. Warner Bros is now in a similar position due to lack of funds.
It would still leave 4 major studios (Disney, Universal, Paramount, Columbia) so it's not really a monopoly on film. There are industries that are less diverse, like the operating systems for phones and computers (Microsoft, Apple, Google)
