I stuck several seasons with this shit. Nothing happened, simply to trick plebs into thinking they are watching something deep. Eventually there was an episode focused on how some side character loses his dog in a divorce. I quit it then and I bet nothing ever happened in this show for the remaining seasons.
There is literally just one episode of breaking bad in which nothing happens and it is infamous to this day because of it.
You can always tell who actually enjoys good writing in television over someone who doesn’t actually know how to notice what makes something good when they just rattle off something like Breaking Bad as the peak of television but get filtered by something like Mad Men. npcs will never get this show because it doesn’t have a bunch of other morons circle jerking over it. The Sopranos is great but it also tends to attract a less intelligent audience that focuses only in certain superficial aspects of the show (the violence, the mafia culture, the memes). Breaking Bad is just pure trash entertainment for the lowest common denominator, the story and characters are comic book tier.
Mad Men is on par with the Sopranos only it doesn’t have those things that makes Sopranos attractive for the plebs, and is way above in quality to Breaking Bad.
Weeds is superior to breaking bad in every conceivable way and I'm tired of pretending it isn't.
