It was a good episode because instead of most villains who are attacking because they're plain evil, Femme uses her political views as an excuse for her behavior. What she says is so convincing that even the PPG are duped for a while before coming to their senses. It's actually perfect to show for kids because sooner or later they'll meet someone who uses fancy reasoning to excuse their behavior and they need to prepare for that.

The episode works because the message isn't just for girls. There's plenty of people who will try to convince you they are "on your team" just long enough for them to get away with shit. The only thing the episode needed was the villainess turning on the girls and demonstrating she's more interested in power than any of the stuff she preached.
