Problem is Clark Kent/Superman has no personality in these movies so Cavill’s charisma doesn’t come out to play. He’s pretty much a robot. Superman consoling and interacting with the people he saved would’ve gone a long way

One of the reasons Ray Fisher chimped out was because WB wanted him back as Cyborg for THE FLASH movie and he'd have tons of scenes in it but would only be paid next to nothing with the excuse that they were cameos. He called his lawyer that told him that was bullshit and when he asked for a proper compensation they told him to go frick himself. Thus Fisher went ballistic on Walter Hamada, the then DC Films President.

WB is what killed DCEU. They thought they could pull off the same stunt as MCU by starting late and achieving the same success in an ensemble movie by cutting corners. They sincerely thought they could make the audience bite the hook in two movies while MCU only managed to hit its stride in 8+ movies (and only thanks to Perlmutter getting the boot).
Those WB execs should be demoted to selling popcorn on the company private screenings.
It wasn't so much because of the MCU but because Warner Bros was trying to sell itself to AT&T and the WB executives would get a big fat bonus if their next set of movies came out ahead of the selling and made good money. So they thought that by adding tons of DC characters and rushing production they'd have some easy billions.

When the Avengers came along and Hollywood's maxim of "audiences are too stupid and uninterested to follow a plot for more than 3 movies" came crashing down, both WB and Universal tried to pull the same stunt without considering the challenges first (and that was fricking stupid coz most of the hurdles in the backstage went public real fast). I'd fire those execs and smear their reputation to make sure they would never get to have an opinion on any relevant matter.

What are you talking about? There are 4 movies before Justice League and 5 before Avengers. The problem was that those movies were shit. A good BvS could have made Avengers money
MCU didn't hit its stride around Age of Ultron, when they ramped up the quality of their productions (starting on Winter Soldier) and bringing their C-team on the field (Guardians of the Galaxy, Antman, Black Panther...), giving Sony their much-needed slap in the face.

Then they both got out, Marvel greenlit the projects Perlmutter was deliberately holding back and the MCU steamrolled any lingering doubt of its long-term viability. The box offices of Black Panther and Captain Marvel say volumes of how much Perlmutter held the MCU back.

Snyder is a mastermind project manager and producer, he knows how to work efficiently, handle money, and maintains a great working relationship with people.
