I'm really enjoying it but wondering if I should just check out JLU instead since it seems like more of a mixed bag with more characters.

It's a fun show, I'd finish it. Also Justice League sets up some stuff for JLU so I wouldn't skip it if you haven't seen it yet, they're both really good. Young Justice is fine but doesn't really compare to the DCAU imo.

JLU is good. Young Justice is shite. Superman is the best.

Justice League and then JLU do pick up some plotlines from STAS so stick with that.

      This.

JLU's major storyline through its first two seasons is essentially a big Superman story that follows up on multiple dangling plotlines that are set up all the way back in STAS.

First two seasons of Young Justice are good, just watch those and nothing else. It goes to shit quickly. Like others have said, STAS is important to both JL and JLU, so I wouldn't jump forward.

STAS is king all the way through. Definitely finish then move on to JL then JLU.

Young justice is horrible. Skip it entirely.

    what do you mean 'just'
    like quitting STAS? no.
you will watch every episode of the DCAU in order. You can skim zeta and static shock.
    >young justice
starts out great, turns to shit when Greg's restraints are taken off. he's lost his fricking mind.

I never understand people hate watching crap, whether it's a cartoon or some reality show or some live action adaptation. And, even less, do I understand why - in the middle of something you're enjoying - you want to stop and try something different.

In the middle of pleasurable sex, do you roll off and say:
    >Sorry - I better get over to the bar before it closes and try my luck with someone else.

Young justice starts fine but it gets up its own ass with constantly setting shit up for future seasons, it was like he constantly baited out cancelation. Just finish the Bruce timm stuff and if you still have a hankering for DC cartoons check out The Batman, it’s not quite as good but has some great moments and episodes

Legion is good, so is the green lantern animated series or Batman brave and the bold or even beware the Batman , you still have a solid decades worth of good DC cartoons before you have to settle for the modern shit

I'm still salty that the show is hard to find, when even Tubi is now rebroadcasting both seasons of Krypton and the remastered Billy.

You have to finish it since the main storyline the Cadmus storyline in JLU season 2 and its fall out are a direct result of STAS' ending. Same with Twilight from JL season 2. I'd say the only thing you can kind of skip is JL season 1 since it's very episodic but also way rougher than season 2.

I'd honestly say nearly the entirety of JL season 1 can be skipped since it's really, really rough. The only episodes I'd say you probably absolutely have to watch is The Terror Below as it sets up Aquaman's status quo and maybe Injustice For All as it does the same for Lex. The Brave and the Bold, Legends and The Savage Time are all good episodes though. Paradise Lost gets a follow up in JLU but it's a Wonder Woman episode and you can skip almost every single one because they're almost without fail the worst episodes of any given season with the exception of Maid of Honor in JL season 2 but that's less because of Diana and more because Vandal Savage is the best villain in the series.

    >also, is young justice any good?
No, it starts painfully mediocre and gets worse with each season. It's never good, even the supposedly "good" stuff.

With JL, here's my personal indicator of whether or not you're getting a good episode.

    >Focus character(s)
    >Flash
    >Hawkgirl
    >Superman
    >Aquaman
    Usually pretty good.

    >Focus character(s)
    >Wonder Woman
    >J'onn
    Not so much.

Batman and John are more mixed bag. JLU is a definite improvement in quality and you can more or less only count on one kind of eh episode per season. I'd say any episode that focuses on a more obscure character or group of characters (relative to when the show came out) is going to be great. Especially if pic related gets any prominent screentime.

Finish watching STAS first. No spoilers, but there's an important storyline involving Darkseid and Orion, etc. that starts in STAS but continues and eventually gets resolved in JL and JLU.
