I still haven't watched it yet (mainly because its 3dcg), but I've been a fan of gooseworx's stuff for years,so I will eventually. I don't see why people keep throwing around "mascot horror" or "loreshit". She's been the whole cute characters in surreal and disturbing scenarios bit for ten years now. like half of all Gooseworx's videos have some degree of existential horror thrown in as a black comedy element: Runmo, Elaine, Darly Boxman. Its not even like she can't do real horror, Blue Channel (the whole series including Thalassin) is an example of some good body horror and good use of tension.

If anything the success of ADC is good news for Amazon because it confirms to the people who sign the paychecks that stuff like this makes money. That's how they think if they see something successful they want a copy of it.
